Shady's inability to just admit whenever anyone else has a point and when he's wrong makes this almost unwatchable. Having to watch him stammer though and try to deny every fact thrown in his face is kind of fun though. Dude, just admit other people have points and this particular thing has not worked out the way you thought it would so far. People would gain so much respect for you. Cause right now you have no credibility when you can't ever admit that.
I don't think this is just a Caleb issue. The Bears failed to address the thing every QB needs to succeed, which is an o-line. Caleb is the most blitzed QB in the league, he's the most sacked QB, top 4 in hurries. Not sure many rookies are gonna play well under those circumstances. Yeah he's not looking as good as Daniels or Nix, but those guys also have better protection and they're in worse divisions overall. I know people was "justice for Fields". I get it, we all wanna have short memories, but Fields won a grand total of 1 game vs teams with a winning record last season. The rest of his wins were vs 8-win teams or worse. Fields also had a chance to wow the Steelers but even they decided to go with a MUCH older QB coming off a terrible season instead of Fields. They saw Fields is just not the guy you want. This season Caleb may have more losses than Fields last season, but he's actually had close calls vs VERY good teams like the Packers (lost by 1), Commanders (lost by 3), Vikings (lost by 3 in OT), and Lions (lost by 3). Idk, I think Caleb is doing fine and he's gonna get a lot better next season.
James Jones is mistaken, the Bears lost 10 in a row in 2022. 2-1 start and then lost 13 of 14 including a 10 game skid to end the season and followed up with a 4 game slide to start 2023. Total of 14 losses in a row. Then they finished 2023 with 7 wins

Not surprised this is the turnout and I’m also not surprised that CWs rookie season has looked the way it did (especially by comparison to other rookie starters from day one in Nix and Daniels). I will be surprised if this carries over into next season though
caleb is starting to look un coachable ...more un coachable than fields and ar15 .. never seen a rookie qb act like hes smarter than the coach and get it wrong
LeSean McCoy is the perfect example of being good and football but not knowing shiiiiii about it. At least JJ, Acho and Daniels have the integrity to admit that they were wrong. McCoy drags down every segment especially in these hypocritical moments where he’s fumbling to justify a wrong decision
I love when Shady uses Peyton’s first year or Josh Allen’s first year to say they struggled. Those are literally almost all the examples. But what I’m hearing is that Caleb Williams is going to be just like them and struggle and then become just as good as them or better.
Shady is WAY off on this. Also, NFL media collectively owes Justin Fields an apology. He did more with less, went to Pittsburgh and is contributing to a playoff team.
Naw the difference is you called Caleb a generational talent. Nobody calling these other rookies that. You called him that so hold him to that standard.
Shady stop with the excuses. Now bo nix is more advanced mentally? Lol never would he have said that in the off-season. He just makes excuse after excuse because he was wrong. When I was Caleb i don't see the player he was in college playing all those weak teams and players. It's simple hes been bad this year. Yes his team and o line is trash but he's constantly missing open players, over throwing guys. I just don't see this great player he was gassed up to be.
I've been a Bears fan since 1983 and this organization is dysfunctional and ownership is a joke. You have all the parts you want but if you don't a complete coaching staff that is competent and capable. I would think this team would have been better if they would have pulled the trigger on a new coach after last season. This is the team and GM that traded away Roquan Smith and Khalil Mack who is a absolute studs and defensive leaders on the field. This is a rudderless ship without a captain. You bring up those others and look at the coaches and organizations. This team needs to be sold and move on because this family is just interested in making money. They had the chance to bring in Ben Johnson or Jim Harbaugh and would not do so. They are cheap and looking to pay the least they can. We have nothing but a pattern of ruining QBs.
About time someone called out Caleb getting his coaches fired is HIS FAULT. The unchecked ego and arrogance need to be put to an end before this failure turns into anything.
Bears have had 4 QB coaches in the last 6 years. The last 3 all came from teams with average or below average QB play. The current dude came with Shane Waldron from Seattle. I will have to look at the other position coaches, but that is a damning indictment on this team's hiring process
I CAN NOT watch the utter HYPOCRISY from this panel. So, is Shady saying Bo Nix is better than Caled Williams? I was there when this panel said Caleb was "generational." They ALL said that Caleb was an upgrade from Justin, so why are we still losing. Additionally, Justin Fields had played HALF the games Caleb has played, and he has a 4-2 record; miss me with the BS.
8:25 This entire mindset is the problem. 10:44 Yeah and we were losing close games because we had a rookie Qb. When he plays like a rookie we start firing people. Media hype killed this team. Eberflus wasnt a strong enough coach to pilot it. He bought in then started drilling into Caleb no turnovers. Then vets started bitchin about the rookie Qb cause stats.
1. Sure he does but is anyone helping him? His line has been horrible in most of his games. Also coaching has been downright disgusting. I’ll say half of the sacks are his fault and half are the line. 2. Yes he does, he has made so many good throws this season and he hasn’t thrown and interception since week 5. 3.Those plays do happen in the nfl, plenty of other players have made careers on off script plays and throws. And Caleb has already profited off that.
That's the NFL most games are lost or won in the 4th quarter, he hasn't won since those games and the teams he beat before theose games who were they, the jags, titans, panthers and the rams (they had no one playing but Stafford, basically everyone else was injured at the time), none of the other teams have won more than 3 games, and now the defense has turned bad because they don't have eberflus and they just look demoralised.
It doesn't matter who you bring in. It takes time for the rookie and any wide receivers to learn the new playbook and understand each together. Without adequate time on the field for both, they will continue to be on a different page on play callings. Firing Matt Eberflus was the right thing. Firing Shane Waldron might have been the worst thing the bears did especially when everybody's learning the new playbook. Before the Bears think about on how to win games, they should think about fixing the O-line first. That will solve a lot of the offensive woes.
I love how McCoy pulled up Mac Jones, but left out his rookie season he had Josh McDaniel as his OC, but then in his subsequent 2 years, he had no one as OC and fewer weapons each year as well. 🤷🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Shady been backpedaling since he saw how bad he looked in Week 1. He realized his flaws and started saying “what do you expect, he’s a rookie”. Nobody expected the bears to win 4 games. If the bears were 10-4 and not 4-10, Shady would have been like this is what I expected, he is a generational talent.
He couldn’t beat Notre Dame. Justin was head and shoulders above Caleb. Justin had one WR, that guy had his best season. Justin was strong and accountable for the whole team. Now we have a pouty Peter.
Justin was not good enough bro relax, you’re acting like he was a Jalen hurts or something. I’m a bears fan I seen every game of his. He just wasn’t gonna get it done for us, especially with the coaches we have.
I'm not surprised. Has anyone else watched the Bears or looked at their stats the last 3 seasons? Something tells me they forgot to invest as much in the trenches as they needed to. (Chase, jeez dude. Just jeez. They did NOTHING to shore the trenches my guy. They need to just draft lineman only for like 4 years to actually get a talented and proficient group at this point.)
This is insane that most of the blame goes to a rookie Quarterback on a team that has NEVER developed quarterbacks😂 Russell Wilson is washed up? Oops! Enter Mike Tomlin. Bo Nix has a slow start? Enter Sean Peyton. Jayden Daniels- Kliff Kingsbury. Who's developing Caleb?
One thing I’ve not seen any network talk about is how Caleb also is in easily the toughest division in football. For a rookie that’s tough when all 3 teams in division are better than you. Imagine if him and Jayden switched spots and Caleb had to face then giants and this year’s cowboys twice a year. That’s minimum 3 wins there. I’m not saying Caleb would be as successful as Jayden but he would have more than 4 wins for sure and vice versa, you put Jayden in the NFC North he would have more than 4 wins but he damn sure would not have the 9 wins he has now
Why does Shady find it hard to understand that TWO things can be true? You can be a rookie and still face criticism, for example Legette has dropped some potentially game winning balls for the panthers, it doesn’t take away from the fact that he will learn and be better. Caleb has been underwhelming with the expectations everyone had about him but he can still be good in the future…
you guys are literally answer your own questions. He has no OL, he has now HC or OC, his team quit. EF literally cost the Bears 4 wins this season alone. Yes, CW is a rookie, he will make mistakes. But you guys in the media act like none of that matters. WAS and DEN both have amazing HC, and solid OL, both teams have weapons. If you put Nix, Maye, Daniels on CHI the result would be similar or worse....
I think this is a karma year. Dude did say that playing in the NFL was easier than college. So this is life saying "oh really? I got something for you!"
Lmao Fields don't need an apology from the sorry bears or their miserable fans. He's in Pittsburgh and the Steelers already clinched the playoffs. All the backup QB jokes, the running quarterback jokes, the 3-4 year vet talk doesn't matter because he's in the playoffs already while the bears are still losing and their fans are making excuses left and right 🤣 I love this year it's been amazing to watch lol.
Why would anyone be surprised that the Bears are where they are? Chicago's got only two championships in the past 61 years. They won an NFL championship in 1963 and we all know about the 85 Bears. My point is that this franchise has been bad forever, and they've shown that they don't know what they're doing for decades, so why would anyone be surprised by the Bears being bad?
I’m not surprised at all This is what you get from rookie head coaches and rookie GMs in the same space. They fell into the hype-train narrative “we are the QB away”. O-line and D-line have been trash for better part of a decade and yet bears go skill guy after skill guy. This is the 2000’s lions
Let me fix this real quick because a lot of people say this and it's very inaccurate. Mac Jones did not make the pro bowl because of his play. Mac Jones made the pro bowl because a lot of quarterbacks had opted out due to the playoffs. Patrick Mahomes was voted for the pro bowl Aint decided to opt out. I can't remember who all made the Provo for that quarterback year but I do remember those a lot of quarterbacks who opted out and they added another quarterback to replace the opt outs
Caleb holds the ball too long, he's not confident in his reads, and instead of running for yards or just throwing it away, he gets sacked, or tries to be mahomes, running all back and he's getting caught and just heaving the ball up. Smh.
I love how theae geniuses are now saying what I've been saying all year. ANYONE WILL FAIL UNDER THIS ORGANIZATION. SWITCH ANY 2024 QB WHO IS DOING WELL ELSEWHERE AND BRING HIM HERE, THEY WILL STRUGGLE. BAD COACHING IS THE COMMON DENOMINATOR AS WELL AS POOR TEAM BUILDING.

Still better than Fields ever was, painted nails and all
@ShadowBox112 4-13 incoming with a better roster than Fields ever had 🤡
😂😂😂
@@ShadowBox112 I would RATHER have Fields than QB Zesty.
@@ShadowBox112the W/L column doesnt show this... garbage time 4th quarter stat padding and stomping out the other 2/3 worst teams in the league mean nothing.
Keep in mind this team was damn near point shaving for better draft capital last year and Justin still won more with less.
Chicago has been cursed since firing Coach Lovie Smith after a 10-6 season....@7:58 Thanks Chase for putting Respect on Scary Terry McLaurin name He never gets mentioned by sports analysts💯 Also those numbers are misleading to a point because Terry McLaurin with Jayden Daniels has more TD'S this season then his entire tenure in Washington. Also Jayden Daniels has how many rushing yards and rushing TD's that wasn't mentioned either. Go Washington Commanders
The guy held onto the ball forever in college like he is doing now in the NFL. He could get away with it in college, not in the NFL. Simple as that. Bust
Facts
3:22 Jay Cutler 2014 stats. 15 games started. 3,812 yards. 28 TDs 18 INTs. Sacked on 6.6% of plays (league avg was 4.4).
This is the media fault. Acho and Nick Wright to name 2
Caleb play backyard football the NFL is not a backyard football league. Caleb is a prima dona.
3 out of the 4 teams in the division are in the playoffs and they only talk about the annual basement dwellers called the Bears. Every other rookie QB is better than Caleb.
Even Zach Wilson.
The Bears aren't as bad as we all thought they would be, we just knew Caleb sucked and well...................
Caleb easily lead 4 game winning drives that any other team would've won if it wasn't for incompetent coaching
If Justin's recievers could catch they would have won 11 games last year with your logic, Justin was better for the bears
2022 was purposefully lost by Poles & Eberflus and everyone knew it. 2023 end of the year was lost on purpose to get rid of JF (scapegoated).
If Caleb Williams was Justin fields shady would be trashing him every week… Shady has the shadiest takes
WE TOLD YOU KEEP FIELDS
Why. He stunk in Chicago.
@ no he didn’t Chicago stink he set all time records and got an mvp he left with statistically right there with cam and Lamar
So Chicago would have ruined them
@@robindevily9182 he set rushing records as a qb that's it lmao. they had to get rid of fields
@ no they didn’t he set dual threat records both rushing and passing
The bears would have got rid of cam and Lamar
He’s a bust. It’s as clear as day. His talent only worked against college players. It’s ineffective against the most elite in the pros. We see this all the time
Shady’s arguments almost never make sense.
These dude are capin, especially Shady, y'all were saying Caleb would come right in and take over, now Shady has a kitten voice, he's only a rookie, I didn't expect a lot, LIAR, called Fields terrible and now for Caleb, you sound soft as Charmin tissue
The team never wanted Caleb as their QB! all they have to do was stick with fields and build the team around him! Now they don´t have their QB, neither the team!
Bruh he’s a rookie. Wdym they don’t have their guy damn. Let him develop and see where he’s at in 3 years. Bet you thought the same about Josh Allen
How is he acting smarter lmao
LeSean McCoy is the perfect example of being good and football but not knowing shiiiiii about it. At least JJ, Acho and Daniels have the integrity to admit that they were wrong. McCoy drags down every segment especially in these hypocritical moments where he’s fumbling to justify a wrong decision
I love when Shady uses Peyton’s first year or Josh Allen’s first year to say they struggled. Those are literally almost all the examples. But what I’m hearing is that Caleb Williams is going to be just like them and struggle and then become just as good as them or better.
“It’s the coaches fault?” When are we going to hold these players accountable?
Everyone saying Fields is better have never actually watched a Justin Fields game 😂
Caleb is more talented but Fields was a better fit especially if you factored in the haul they would’ve received from trading the #1 pick
These guys say they’re surprised… been a fan for 40 years. Same ol same ol
Shady is WAY off on this. Also, NFL media collectively owes Justin Fields an apology. He did more with less, went to Pittsburgh and is contributing to a playoff team.
Coaching matters coaching matters
Naw the difference is you called Caleb a generational talent. Nobody calling these other rookies that. You called him that so hold him to that standard.
Shady stop with the excuses. Now bo nix is more advanced mentally? Lol never would he have said that in the off-season. He just makes excuse after excuse because he was wrong. When I was Caleb i don't see the player he was in college playing all those weak teams and players. It's simple hes been bad this year. Yes his team and o line is trash but he's constantly missing open players, over throwing guys. I just don't see this great player he was gassed up to be.
Shady always give Caleb the princess treatment, maybe they have slumber parties and paint their nails together 😂😂
Biggest thing that surprised Ravens was how quickly Lamar processed the Defense. His issue was mechanics werent consistent
Lotta ppl knew caleb was mid
Shady is the epitome of his name... he swears he's always on the right side of a discussion...
Caleb isn't the worst rookie QB... the other rookies have better coaching...
That’s why he’s missing open receivers blatantly? Lmao
He ignored his coach and got him fired when he forgot how timeouts work in detroit
Shady: I was just playing I was just better than y’all 😂😂😂
About time someone called out Caleb getting his coaches fired is HIS FAULT.
Shady making points about the QB career trajectories
He needs to learn to stay on topic. The topic is about the Bears losing season.
1. Caleb holds onto the football too long.
2. He doesn’t read defenses.
3. He depends on off script throws/plays which won’t happen in the NFL.
@ That’s also on the front office
@@LeetraviusMcKay-q6m yeah that's true, we don't know how to draft/get decent linemen.
LeSean McCoy brung up RG3 as if he wasn’t the ROY & basically ended his starting career because of his injury to his knee???? What is going on lol
Those 3 games that the Bears as a team lost in the last minute of those games really changed the narrative of the outlook on Caleb. Its gonna be fine.
Shady sounds crazy, if you're a top 15 selection as a QB you are expected to come in and be the guy
Thier line was good and improved when the bears were 4-2, they actually tank high in win rate, thier qb just likes getting sacked
This is insane that most of the blame goes to a rookie Quarterback on a team that has NEVER developed quarterbacks😂
Russell Wilson is washed up? Oops! Enter Mike Tomlin. Bo Nix has a slow start? Enter Sean Peyton. Jayden Daniels- Kliff Kingsbury. Who's developing Caleb?
Exactly, he’s got immense talent. Although very immature and not being developed
Shady Facts!!! Caleb had all the pressure to be good. The rest of them just had to go play no pressure, Bear Down
I need shady to have the same energy he had for fields for Caleb
It took another season in shambles for the football world to realize the Bears front office is the real problem
Not too much on RG3 shanahan sabotaged that man
you guys are literally answer your own questions.
Well if Caleb didn't seem to be able to read defenses in college, why would you think he should be a #1 pick ?
mccoy is a clow RG3 got hurt and that changed EVERYTHING
I think this is a karma year. Dude did say that playing in the NFL was easier than college. So this is life saying "oh really? I got something for you!"
That was richardson
Lmao Fields don't need an apology from the sorry bears or their miserable fans. He's in Pittsburgh and the Steelers already clinched the playoffs. All the backup QB jokes, the running quarterback jokes, the 3-4 year vet talk doesn't matter because he's in the playoffs already while the bears are still losing and their fans are making excuses left and right 🤣 I love this year it's been amazing to watch lol.
Has a USC fan CW last season was underwhelming, I seen the red flags
Why would anyone be surprised that the Bears are where they are? Chicago's got only two championships in the past 61 years. They won an NFL championship in 1963 and we all know about the 85 Bears. My point is that this franchise has been bad forever, and they've shown that they don't know what they're doing for decades, so why would anyone be surprised by the Bears being bad?
So because the bengals historically suck we shouldn’t be surprised when a team with burrow, Chase etc are bad?😂 you make 0 sense
2006
@@ws775They lost in the Super Bowl that year.
Loves rookie season made it to playoffs....😅
Stroud, made it to the playoffs in a worse situation
@jrg5315 and yet, the topics been about Williams
I’m not surprised at all
This is what you get from rookie head coaches and rookie GMs in the same space.
Before I play the video. How many times does Shady say “HE’S A ROOKIE”? 😂
Actual bears fans aren't surprised. We all know ownership is and will continue to be the issue
You realize they had a 14 game losing streak 2 years ago. Now 8 game losing streak they were both under Ryan poles he’s got to go!!
