He never should have been drafted to the Chicago Bears in the first place. That is not what they needed, and he was never gonna change this organization
So basically he isn't generational. Factor in three Rookie QBs are going to have made the playoffs in the past two seasons with less talent around them.
@@HockeyDudeJames2more like you should’ve kept Fields and traded down to build your trenches in the draft. The same problems for Caleb with the o-line is the same problem Fields had. Caleb has upgraded skill players around him and still has a worse record than Fields despite being “better” or “generational” which was false. Caleb only looked good because of the type of competition he faced in college and still couldn’t make the playoffs. Caleb is overrated
@@HockeyDudeJames2 Houston is in the weakest division in the league. They don't even have 10 wins yet. They do have a better "coach" and roster than Chicago. Washington has a better offensive roster than Chicago. All three of those teams have better coaches and offensive lines than Chicago and better players at other positions. Did you think about that?
I was sitting watching his college games this weekend and some of his games this year it seems like he can’t read a defense or he’s holding the ball to long
The mistakes the Bears made: 1. They should have fired Eberflus in the off season and brought in a new coaching staff with a new qb 2. They drafted Odunze, who is a great talent, but they didn't fix their offensive line
@@Trillshipp2k hes backing up russell wilson who would also start over caleb. but even in his minimal starts he has the same wins as the bears do for the entire season
Coaching staff AND "roster." They should have gone very strong with bolstering the o-line and getting a more dynamic RB. Swift is fast but doesn't break tackles. A really strong run game would have helped Williams more. Not sure if we should have drafted Odunze. That pick should have been traded for more draft capital with Bowers and Brian Thomas Jr. looking fantastic this year. Allen and Odunze have dropped waaay too many passes this season.
Once the Bears get Ben Johnson in there as HC, he'll be ok. I'm not gloom and doom on the Bears franchise. It was nice to see their 2nd rd LT play last night as well.
What I don’t understand why people just don’t shut up and watch it play out because yall was saying he’s the next Mahomes he’s generational and now everybody surprised he’s not living up to it in his rookie year.
If you are going to start him his first year Run the ball Run pass ratio 60to 30 Run/pass ratio 1st fifteen plays scripted to test the defense Attack Inside Outside Misdirection Pass
I love playmaker but cant listen to him. He played with the best oline in history. Bears do not prioritize oline and rarely have dynamic playmakers. When Detroit improvef, 1st was oline was strong. Bears simply rarely have a talent advantage. Oline and bad trades will likely doom Poles.
To much high hopes for the spot. Blamed justin fields and brought in a so called more talented qb and he is 4-10. Fields in his rookie season was 6-11.
Inaccurate passing holding the ball too long so many overthrows can we agree on one thing he will probably be okay one day but he is not a generational talent
He already is. In multiple ways. If Caleb was drafted to the Steelers where Fields currently finds himself (on the bench mind you), they would have coached him MUCH harder like he needed as do all rookies. Also, playing against that d-line in camp every day he'd learn real quick he can't hold on to the ball that long!
@@jacobstrouble6631I'll concede that I'm by no means sold on him being the franchise for the next decade and he will have to make a lot of improvements next season, but it's WAY too soon to say he, a rookie QB, sucks. Coaching is crucial especially for rookies. I'm not in favor of him being our next HC as I think we need a culture setter like Vrabel, but you can't tell me that Caleb is remotely this bad if Ben Johnson was our OC this season. I believe Eberflus and Waldron coached him to not take risks and prioritize "ball security" above everything. It's caused Caleb to be gun shy and inaccurate. His deep ball accuracy in college was miles ahead of it this year, and I think that's because of the "complimentary football" and "protect the football" philosophy nonsense that Flus instilled in him. Caleb needs to be MUCH better and I think a coach let encourages him to let it rip will help him do that.
That’s Mr Generational, we don’t accept that coaching BullChit! HE Said to the punter, Don’t worry about punting this year. 😂😂 Now he been hit and sacked more than Justin Fields with a better team 😂😂 Justin had a better season with 1/4 of what Caleb has 😂 DJ Moore went for almost 1500 yards. He's a Rookie! The NFL has started Rookie Quarterbacks in recent years in their pursuit of ultimate failure. You can't outrun NFL players.
Should have kept Justin Fields
They should've picked up Russell Wilson or Sam Darnold (both are better than Fields) and then picked Caleb at one and let him sit for a year.
Fields is a backup QB at best- the Bears couldn't give him away
They don't design great offensive schemes because Chicago Bears have some playmakers and good young talent but play calling sucks
They want him to get hurt.
They've chewing up and spitting out young QBs for years. Used to be they spent 2 or 3 years carrying a clipboard on the bench.
Certain quarterbacks its always the coaches wonder why 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
9ers coach would be a good fit here
How's that going for the Niners? 😐
