Here in England, unless I am mistaken some campsites now hire out the tents and camping equipment and you only take sleeping bags and your clothes etc. Maybe you could do a video if there are such camp sites? Cheers 👍🙂
For someone like me its just nice to watch and appreciate these videos. I struggle to get away on holiday because im disabled and use a wheelchair half of my time so it can often be a struggle so watching these videos for myself is great to see.
First went to Ibiza in 1974 and the airport building was literally a shack !! ...stayed in San Antonio bay and it was like paradise with just a few hotels and an unspoilt beach...went back 9 times over the following years until it just became a mess...such a shame but great times..
Over ten years ago I played Test Drive Unlimited 2 which took place on Ibiza (and Hawaii) and I have been in love with Ibiza ever since. I will go one of these days.
I went to ibiza in the 90s as a kid and loved it. Stopped at cala llonga which is on the east side of the island and was so relaxing and so safe there. Not sure what it's like now though That water park in playa den bossa so glad it shut down. I remember going there as a kid and my dad neatly slicing his arm off going down the slide I had a massive cut on my foot and back on that solo waterslide
Got some fabulous memories of staying in Santa Eulalia every year as a child up to my teens, and it’s where I’ve got my fondness of the smell of sewage 🤣 sewage ALWAYS reminds me of Ibiza, I’m sure they’ve got that sorted these days but In the 90’s that was the aroma.
Great to see the different sides to Ibiza we love Santa Eularia for ourselves. just watching you go near the edge of that cliff set my Vertigo off, have done that visit on a trip and couldnt stay long as people were going too near the edge so i got my pictures and retreated LOL The views all over the Island are spectacular...
Loved the tour of Ibiza reminds me when I went to the island in the late 90s my hotel wasn’t far from the egg and Eden night club just down the road beautiful island thanks for sharing.
Amazing, thank you so much for this. My last Ibiza trip was in my glorious teens (some 24 years ago- how time flies!), and I’ve been pining to go back with the family I now have. Such a shame the water park has closed but lovely to see there is so much more than club life to keep a young family entertained! So excited to revisit such a key part of my youth ❤❤❤

I have never traveled solo and I was a little anxious but now I can't wait!! Next May 2023 4th - 25 . Torremolinos La Carihuela. Many little bk streets, uphill parks etc. Maybe you could do a trip out there please Tim & Gaby. Xx

Just returned from my 28th visit. Ibiza is my favourite place in the world, although clubs and partying aren’t on my radar. It’s just the most beautiful island, and Santa Eulalia is the best place to stay in my opinion.
How many times have you been to Mallorca? I think the nightlife in Ibiza old town is second to none. However I find that Mallorca has much more to offer overall. Unfortunately, I don’t like the nightlife anywhere on Mallorca so I am really struggling in deciding where I should get me a holiday home.
I found a hippy camp one day at the beginning of my hols right next to the sea they even had there own bar so I went there most days and had a smoke with the locals...Lovely island 👍

My Wife and me visited Ibiza this year in may in our honey moon. It was amazing. I really fell in love with this island and said that I will come back!!!! Highly recommend to visit this beautiful places you have shown, because we visited them as well!!!! Really nice video

I'm back in time in Ibiza! Apart from clubs (ugly inside), DJ and food, beaches only with stones, rarely with sand, sunbeds only in certain areas. For people who are not interested in luxury or high conditions, Ibiza is an option!
The colour of that water is incredible! Some great filming here. I’m not sure if I’d ever enjoy more than a few days in Ibiza - I’m not a clubber (!) and the idea of lying on a beach all day doesn’t entertain me at all!
Love your video and it was a good representation of how Ibiza has become nowadays. Compared to 90s 00s vibes. I last made a visit in August 2019 with gf and kids and we stopped in the bay of San antonio. My partner wasn't impressed even though I don't mind. We had visited Ibiza old town that summer and my partner loves it their. She would go back to ibiza in a heartbeat just to walk the streets of dalt villa.

My god San An Bay has changed so so much since i was last there.. The last hotel i stayed in, was next to the KFC/Pizza Hut restaurant.. Hotel Arenal i think it is?.. Back then, you couldn't walk all the way round from the main town to the other side, all the beach front.. because they didn't have the pathway there.. i would love to go back there one day.. even if its by myself and for a week.. Thanks for the walking tour.. brings back so many happy memories
Hi Tim. Those ivy flowers you saw are called bougainvillea, and, despite being subtropical, they can grow in English gardens, but you have to cultivate it in a sunny, south-facing and sheltered area for it to take. My MIL has bougainvillea in her back garden and she lives in Lincolnshire.
This is lovely to watch Tim on a rainy miserable spring afternoon in 2024! Love the walking around the Whitewashed Cobbled Streets of Ibiza. I don't think I've really seen the old town of Ibiza before. The tiny cave type Pub was just where I would like to go. Those Cocktails they were making looked epic. You looked very hot 🔥 Tim when you sat down with your Fruity Drink. What beautiful deep blue sky's too 🔵 Loved the fancy Hotel with the Red Bum Shaped Seats! Very Snazzy! This must of been filmed before I joined your channel. Glad I found it😉.
Never been to Ibiza, never felt the need to either. Say no more about The Vengaboys, loved the music of that era, even though it makes me feel old. Love the videos though. Keep up the great work.

Wife and I got robbed in Ibiza. I have been visiting there for thirty years, but not any more. The loss was horrific because they got all our identification, credit cards and money. It was hard dealing with this and altered my opinion of Ibiza forever. I understand that this is becoming an increasingly common problem. In my opinion, Ibiza has become nothing but a "party destination" attracting thugs, thieves and party goers. There so many other safer, more attractive and relaxing destinations in this world.
There is crime, as in any busy location anywhere in the world. I was physically grabbed by my hand by a prostitute wanting my 'custom'. I was with cousins who thought it was hilarious 🤣 Mostly it's safe if you keep your wits about you and use your safe in the hotel
@@neilgodwin6531 Actually, our room safe was where our valuables were when we were robbed! "Someone" obviously knew we were going out for the whole day and knew how to break in to the safe. There are all kinds of videos showing how weak and vulnerable these safes are.
Probably out of all the places and countries in the world that I have visited, Evissa has got to be at the top of my list. It has this extraordinary 'magical' vibe about it, something that I have never experienced elsewhere. A lot of other destinations try to duplicate that 'Evissa vibe' , but have failed. Over the past 25 years since I first arrived on the island so much has changed. ie back in the 90s for example there were no motorways, just old roads and old buses without air conditioning, no coastline walkways in San Ant, as seen in this recent film and only a small port in the old town etc, (nothing like it is today). Also it is great to see that the local government is putting tourist income back into the islands infrastructure and natural preservation. Back in 2010 I was lucky enough to have two weddings, one in London and the other in Eivissa (Hacienda Na Xamena Hotel 's Amphitheatre). Evissa is such a wonderful place, which you grow 'with' over the years. I have come to appreciate the hidden beaches and the hidden restaurants etc over the commercially, hyped ones that I did when I first arrived back in the 90's. in San Antonio (not part of the island that I would stay or visit now) But it was all good at that particular time back in the day as a teenager. Evissa is a wonderful, wonderful place, and if like I have experienced, 'you' grow, mature and change with it.
I 100% agree!!! For me Ibiza but also the rest of the Balear islands... if a year I cannot visit one of those the summer won't be the same... this year we go to Menorca, and cannot wait to be there and listening my music looking that water, or taking a cool mojito

A local from the island here: You shouldn't visit Ibiza if you come to get drunk and make a mess of the island. Stay in your house and make the mess there! Remember the island is also the house of others, and you wouldn't like any stranger to throw up on your front door. Be respectful, Ibiza is not a party paradise, not an amusement park for you to act like a pig. I've seen all kinds of situations, and it's always disgusting to see how entitled tourists feel to do whatever they want. Come, visit the place, learn a bit about it even! But don't start making your trip someone elses business because you got too wild. Be responsible when travelling!!!!
It was my first time to Ibiza this year and I’m nearly 40 and loved it. My fav place was mambos got to love a bit of Ibiza chill out. I also went to savannahs restaurant and the food was amazing! Pricy but worth it. You should try it next time your there

Hi Tim. Those ivy flowers you saw are called bougainvillea, and, despite being subtropical, they can grow in English gardens, but you have to cultivate it in a sunny, south-facing and sheltered area for it to take. My MIL has bougainvillea in her back garden and she lives in Lincolnshire.

Back there in 5days. Love the island.
Wife and I got robbed in Ibiza. I have been visiting there for thirty years, but not any more. The loss was horrific because they got all our identification, credit cards and money. It was hard dealing with this and altered my opinion of Ibiza forever. I understand that this is becoming an increasingly common problem.
In my opinion, Ibiza has become nothing but a "party destination" attracting thugs, thieves and party goers.
There so many other safer, more attractive and relaxing destinations in this world.

I was physically grabbed by my hand by a prostitute wanting my 'custom'.
I was with cousins who thought it was hilarious 🤣
Mostly it's safe if you keep your wits about you and use your safe in the hotel
@@neilgodwin6531 Actually, our room safe was where our valuables were when we were robbed! "Someone" obviously knew we were going out for the whole day and knew how to break in to the safe. There are all kinds of videos showing how weak and vulnerable these safes are.

Special special place spent my 20s obsessed with this place!
Probably out of all the places and countries in the world that I have visited, Evissa has got to be at the top of my list. It has this extraordinary 'magical' vibe about it, something that I have never experienced elsewhere. A lot of other destinations try to duplicate that 'Evissa vibe' , but have failed.
Over the past 25 years since I first arrived on the island so much has changed. ie back in the 90s for example there were no motorways, just old roads and old buses without air conditioning, no coastline walkways in San Ant, as seen in this recent film and only a small port in the old town etc, (nothing like it is today). Also it is great to see that the local government is putting tourist income back into the islands infrastructure and natural preservation.
Back in 2010 I was lucky enough to have two weddings, one in London and the other in Eivissa (Hacienda Na Xamena Hotel 's Amphitheatre).
Evissa is such a wonderful place, which you grow 'with' over the years. I have come to appreciate the hidden beaches and the hidden restaurants etc over the commercially, hyped ones that I did when I first arrived back in the 90's. in San Antonio (not part of the island that I would stay or visit now) But it was all good at that particular time back in the day as a teenager.
Evissa is a wonderful, wonderful place, and if like I have experienced, 'you' grow, mature and change with it.
I 100% agree!!! For me Ibiza but also the rest of the Balear islands... if a year I cannot visit one of those the summer won't be the same... this year we go to Menorca, and cannot wait to be there and listening my music looking that water, or taking a cool mojito
The only place where I feel all tension fall away as soon as I get there.
Loved this video Tim, the quality is amazing and I loved having the tour. Made me want to have a weekend trip away to Ibiza. Looking forward to your next video

You shouldn't visit Ibiza if you come to get drunk and make a mess of the island. Stay in your house and make the mess there! Remember the island is also the house of others, and you wouldn't like any stranger to throw up on your front door. Be respectful, Ibiza is not a party paradise, not an amusement park for you to act like a pig. I've seen all kinds of situations, and it's always disgusting to see how entitled tourists feel to do whatever they want. Come, visit the place, learn a bit about it even! But don't start making your trip someone elses business because you got too wild.
Be responsible when travelling!!!!

Of course you will have a great time in Ibiza without partying. Have been there for more then 20 times and never was partying.

It was my first time to Ibiza this year and I’m nearly 40 and loved it. My fav place was mambos got to love a bit of Ibiza chill out. I also went to savannahs restaurant and the food was amazing! Pricy but worth it. You should try it next time your there
Wow, yet another magical walk Tim; a great advert for Ibiza! Wonderful memories of Portinax with my 4 kids 25+ years ago. Sorry to see the water park at Playa d’en Bossa no longer open. The sunset reminded me of Key West in Florida; sensational! Best line; tastes like stinging nettles! 😂👍👌
