Expansion really depends on one thing and that if the A's end up in Vegas. I say that because MLB wants a team in Vegas which means if the A's dont end up there then there is a good chance a Vegas Franchise will be on the way. But other places would be like Nashville, Salt Lake City, Portland, or maybe even giving Canada two teams again.
I'd argue the Rangers/Senators should have been ranked. They started out as an expansion team, even if it had the same name as an existing team that moved. Yeah, they'd probably be ranked the worst among the expansion franchises that have won a title, since they have the second lowest winning pct and won fewer titles than the Royals, but they should have been ranked.
You’d really understand this if you’ve actually been to Nashville. I went there for a personal hockey tournament a couple years ago, and the amount of support the teams in the city have is crazy. You’d walk down the street and see multiple civilian placed banners for the Triple A team or the MLS soccer team in windows and off balconies. A major league team would pull so many great fans.
Yet no one has come forward to pony up about 2 million and find an area in town to build a ballpark , so far nothing is happening they don't even have an ownership group
Carter hit a walk off homer in game 6 in 1993, but Bill Mazaroski hit a walk off homer in game 7 of the 1960 World Series. You seem to have a bias toward the more recent players.
We don’t need more teams. We need quantity teams and owners who will actually spend money on their on field product. It’s that simple. Don’t cry about the same teams that spend money on players, and them pocket money from the luxury tax instead of put it into your team.
Attendance, impact and history were ignored. And teams with no WS you ranked higher. Ok I am a Mets fan born in Queens.... And in my opinion, and I respect yours, they belong at number 1. 2 WS, 5 Penants and 10 playoff appearances. 3 100+ win seasons - and let's remember the draft rules changed so they were handicapped AND STILL OUTDREW THE DAMN YANKEES FROM INCEPTION TO 1997 (which includes the Derek Jeter '96 Yankees). With a record barely above .500 before the Wild Card, they took the mighty Reggie A's to 7 games in '73. They are by far the most popular expansion team and have the biggest fan base of all of the expansion teams... possibly combined (ok 13 teams that's a stretch). Should have been in the top 2, with Houston. But yeah, they are bipolar. I'd give it to the 'stros if not for the cheating and the impact and historical relevance of the Mets who had to fill the huge vacuum created by the traitorous Dodgers and Giants in the NL in NYC. They even have their own RECOGNIZABLE THEME SONG!!!
Love this style of content from yall.
It was the Vladdy Jab for me!!! hahahah

164 acres of wonder!!! PDP been working on it for a while putting the bid this coming week or the next.
Interesting, well-done video. In my view, both the Royals and Mets should rank ahead of the Angels.

Austin tx MLB expansion Austin tx great city
I agree with Peter. He's so smart
I disagree with Peter. He is not smart(I listen to him talk about baseball daily)
Banger 🔥🔥
A video series listing each current teams best lineup and pitching staff would be cool but time consuming I know.
The Rangers became the Rangers after the 1971 season and where is the continential League in all of this.
The Braves began playing in Atlanta in 1966 and the A's began playing in Oakland in 1968
Yes, he had the teams and years reversed.
Definitely need more south teams
Nashville gotta get a team. Putting a stadium walking distance from the strip would be awesome

Nashville will definitely get a team! It’s long overdue!

The Braves moved in 1966
Salt Lake, Nashville
I mean I get it... but we all know the Astros don't deserve the top spot.. if Bonds gets an asterisk then the Astros deserve worse.
You do realize the Yankees did the same thing
@nealroberts5844 What does that have to do with what I said? The Astros were the subject of my comment, not the Yankees.
The *asterisk was only for Roger Maris and 61 home runs and eventually that was taken away
I think the best cities for MLB Expansion would be:
1.Montreal
2.Nashville
3.Las Vegas
4.Vancouver
5.Orlando
The corosel was a hostoric one from the area.
Minor correction - 1982 Brewers= Cecil Cooper not Fielder. Otherwise I really enjoyed.
Had Prince Fielder on the mind

Buffalo was screwed in the 90s
I think it’s a matter of when not if baseball comes back to Montreal. Unless we have World War III,
