"The Childhood Movie You Don't Remember" the funny part is that I remembered basically everything but the name for years, despite having only ever seen it once. It was burned into my memory like a fever dream, Spore editor and everything.
I only remembered the alligators, the magic rock, and that kid tackling helvetica out the window after she ate a fish. But i thought that last one was from a different movie
As someone who plays Spore, that scene killed me. Not only is Spore singleplayer, but that's not even actual gameplay, that's the creature demo! They're playing an intense game of "click the emotes"
@Jurassic Hero I think after the first 2 it might have been harder to come up with a serious conflict that would still be appropriate for the film or that he would be able to work with his style and acting direction.
The only movie my parents actually couldn’t sit through with me as a kid, I remember the exact scene they tapped out and turned it off. It was just as the black box monster fought the bees.
The only thing I remembered from watching this movie. Was going to the dollar theater with my dad and this lady screamed out loud because there was a rat crawling around. Later on my dad freaked out because he felt the rat near his legs. That's it. That's all I remember.
I was more confused about Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist (13:25), being in this movie like wow, he's an amazing actor but this movie sucks lmaoo
The weirdest part of this movie is that my brain latched on to extremely random parts of it so that 6 or so months ago when I randomly chose a children's movie on Netflix to put on for my cousin, I found myself going "Oh! That's where that scene is from."
This makes me wanna pitch an anime where all the characters are named after fonts and the series finale is the first episode and then season 3 starts after that
so like fun fact as a child my bestfriend and I were so obessed with this movie that we literally rewrote the script, acted it out and filmed it all. We had so much fun making our fan movie that it inspired both of us to move into the career fields we wanted. My friend has worked on multiple local play and starred in small ads. Im self studying animation and we still work together to put together stories and character designs. this little adventure was such a push for us that it is still a fond favourite of mine and i still love this movie to this day,
It’s weird how movies can happen and millions can watch it but still there are some that we all just collectively forget about or push into the deepest holes of our memories until people like this take them out of the vault
As a kid, I remembered this movie being good. All I remembered was that a rock could give them wishes or something. This is bringing back weird memories.
I'm gonna make the stone from "shorts." 1:52 balloon boy?!!? 2:30 is my favorite part. 1:30 Robert Rodriguez really likes random letters and the great white bites. Noodles, what are you doing here? 15:381:39 because episode zero is over and new one starts. 5:13 drank apple juice and burped
This movie has been stuck in my brain for years just because I caught it on cable in like 2010. Never knew its name until just now. Thanks. Not that its any good it sucked but I just remember it
People I know usually seem to have trouble with the idea of having the power to do literally anything through wishes, because you have to be very literal and specific. But you don't. You can simply say something along the lines of "I wish that everything I wish for, as long as I live, will happen exactly as I intend." You basically would have complete and total control over everything. Nothing could ever go wrong, you would have the power to do the impossible with no consequences.
HOLY SHIT THIS MOVIE HAS BEEN IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD FOR ALMOST 10 YEARS. I had memories of a weird movie with a boy who gets a rainbow rock that grants wishes, but I could never find it.
I just feel like I should say you guys are the funniest RUclipsrs I've ever come across. The trio work so well together. I love you guys. Today sucked and when I saw there was a new MS movie review that made everything ok.
I loved this movie as a kid, it's just such a fun concept. I watched it soo much and the thing I remember the most is the "Helvetica" song. It's so catchy.
The only reason I remember this movie is because it was the last film that my family rented and never returned to a Blockbuster store. I still have the DVD in my home and it says rental in big letters on the bottom. It was my family's weapon of choice in aiding Blockbuster's downfall.
@@qwertyiuwg4uwtwthn I had a friend in elementary school whose parents were part of the production. To be honest, that was many years ago, it was more likely made of resin. From what I remember, I was told they made multiple copies, and the one I held never made it to screen.
This movie has been stuck in my head since I was 7. For some reason, whenever I had to think of a movie, this one comes into my head before any other movie does. I have been like this for a decade+.
The funny part is that i actually didn't remember this movie, like that thing that happens to everyone, you have a childhood memory of something you watched and it just got stuck in your mind but you still don't remember it
1:39: I Actually have an Explanation for this!!! Now, this is just a Theory, but what I Think is going on is that Episode Zero was supposed to be like a Short Film, similar to a Pixar Movie. I think this because I very clearly remember seeing this Movie in the Theater and that scene Not Playing and being really confused by the Kids playing their Blinking Game throughout the whole Film. When if finally came to DVD, the Short was added and I finally had Context.
This movie feels like a fever dream you have when you’re sick so for a while I thought it wasn’t even real but seeing this review hit me with whiplash. The only thing I remembered about it was the Helvetica Black song and Boogers
I know for a fact I never watched this movie as a kid and yet I also know for a fact I saw that rock somewhere as a kid because when I saw them tweet about it before it triggered my fight or flight response
I vividly remember seeing the trailer for this when it first came out and, for some reason, it just pops into my brain every now and again. Thanks for finally bringing the closure I didn't know I needed, guys.
