Had a customer yesterday who insisted on HWE in a new move-in on a house they bought. They were worried about drywall dust and wanted it "extracted". I dragged in the extractor and extracted...all but the stairs which was done SETT with the orbiter. I explained that the stairs were dirtiest so I used the premium method which dries extra fast for safety. They loved the results and are now believers.
I also used prochem, hydramaster, Chemspeck witch is now the same company as prochem and master blend…I still have and use master blend products they have good products..urinelock was a personal favorite..still have a gallon in my garage also have a little Cherokee portable I use from time to time
Very nice simple SETT cleaning, it is a breeze to clean wether its carpet or furniture. I have been blowing the horn on youtube now for over 10 years but the furniture SETT is really taking off now. I still alternate between my TSC (Total Solution Control) heated HWE system and using SETT but its great having options as some furniture will need the extra flushing. You have seen my videos showing how you can clean with HWE and not even get the back of the fabric wet? All you need is a needle valve and the internal jet PMF tool and I clean S coded fabrics all the time with no issues. The secret to both carpet and furniture is controlling where the dirt goes and precise control of the water is critical as you know.
It’s like you said the “chemistry” has changed completely…and the low moisture is soooo much better for the carpet and upholstery…soaking creates browning…almost every time..had to go back and redo jobs many times from wicking and browning..the guy I worked for believed the more water and steam the better…witch is just wrong
When you price a little higher and work for a little higher income customer, the carpets are usually well-maintained. This makes easy work for you and quick, clean, dry carpets for them.
what should we do with the upholstery with code S? We shouldn't use these products (like green dragons or go oxy mix with water) to wash them? How can we clean them? please make a video to clean upholstery with code S. pleases
I think I’m sold. I just need to figure out the chemistry ratios and find what you have here in Australia or a product similar and I’m jumping in Great vid

HWE has its place but I’m VLM all the way. I have my spot extractor and a steamer for stubborn spots and rinse.
