You know you have taught me for sure getting into this about 4 years ago to slow down, breathe and find a good coin that's actually worth money with all the characteristics of some and then all the varieties and making sure it's that one I fell for the Fool's coin couple years ago just a couple of times I'm just collecting now haven't yet sold this is my second collection but now I've gotten pretty good I would have to admit but that's just from watching your videos along with couch Collectibles and I don't think I subscribed to the older guy where it looks like he's sitting in a locksmith type of room with all his stuff around him he's got good knowledge he's good but all around your videos have taught me good ethics along with how I collect coins and how to calm down for sure and make it fun and eventually people out there you will find a coin if you educate yourself enough and try to make it easy on yourself by knowing all the things that you need to know when getting started because once I started studying and getting the knowledge is when I started finding money everywhere even if it's a $20 quarter I mean I've got quite a few probably rare Coins I bet I could put out there on RUclips video. When will you two be able to let you send pictures in this message board that would be awesome I would love to send you some pictures of just a few of my pennies and some quarters and see what you think but yeah RUclips let us send pictures on the comment section okay y'all have a great night and help the next man or woman I don't want the left Wingers to get mad I better say woman or other or doesn't go by anything I guess LOL but just help others when you can get the chance to and the domino effect will go in the right direction in your life I promise even if you don't think the timing is right you need to reverse that thinking because it's never wrong I would just like to see everybody riding that wave together nowadays.... all the way from East Texas my name is Patrick I'm out love all y'all out there🙏👊👍💨🌴😑
Enjoyed your comment. 👍
I just filmed one and I said the steps were perfect 👌. It's September 30, 2023 and I'm very happy . Thank You Shawn ...........
Just watched your video on 1969-D FS selling for over $30K. I loved it!
I got one ebay? Is that the best way to sell them
Hi, your videos are very informative. I'm new to coin collecting. I have seen many nickels for sale on eBay, which are old and with full steps. And they are selling for between 10-25 bucks. Just wanna know that how this works? Thanks
I have a 1969s with full steps. Are they more common than the Denver minted nickels?
I'm OLD and I have a roll of UNC 1969-D Jeffersons (& other 60's Jeffersons) and I wrapped the tube in FOIL (to keep the light out... I did that with all my UNC ROLLS in the early 70's for some reason). After seeing THIS video I am big time wanting to open it, but I wanna "dream' for a couple weeks before doing it. I know how hard the FULL STEPS are to find.
I remember buying them in a coin shop in Maryland when I was into buying a lot of UNC/B.U. rolls as a teenager
to put away. I wrapped each roll in aluminum foil, labeled them, and wrapped each one again in shipping tape.
A DUMB thing I DID: I saved a bunch of low mintage Lincoln San Francisco mint pennies & stored them in a simple "paper coin envelopes" (supposedly for coins). Well apparently those paper envelopes had ACID in it because all my beautiful copper was brown and green. Should have used the folder-over cardboard holders like I usually did.
I could be wrong but I thought all coins are worth more unwashed...
And pennies are More valuable Because Of the brownish or reddish color per aging... I was under the impression that pennies should Never be washed, and allowed to color with time...
I JUST FOUND A 1970 D NICKEL WITH AN S ABOVE THE DOME on the back!!!
Could you do a video on the criteria you personally use to select coins for grading. I've had friends that have sent in coins that they and I thought would come back very high only to have our collective hopes dashed.
Clearly we're lacking the insight needed in order to determine the quality.
Great channel by the way...I've learned a lot.
Thanks
Wow Wow wow so beautiful coin
Hey bruv, always love these videos. Very inspiring to know about these modern rarities, and am always grateful for your research and sharing of this great information. I have since found some beautiful examples of 60-70s Jefferson nickels. I just recently found a near perfect 61, tho only half of the steps are complete. Do you think that these are still worth sending out for grading? And also at around what year do a full step rating become valuable? Thanks again as always. Hope your day is fantastic.
Can tell me what's the difference in size of mint marks an placements....I have several in the 70's an such that are big n small an in different placements
Awesome video as always! Love your channel and have been subscribed for a long time!
on Father's day got my first low leaf 2004 quarter
I have the 2005 Buffalo Nickel and the front is offset a bit and the back is missing the entire stamp of the dy. Coin other than that is in quite good condition
What perhaps would this coin fetch on the market today?
hey blueridge is there a chance to find one of these in mint sets and/ or proof sets if so plz explain thx awesome video great knowledge
All your videos are Great.
I've a pair of 1962 D nickels. I'm hoping they will be record breakers. When compared to the 1969 D nickel that sold for over $30K. The 1969 D was graded as a MS65FS and my pair of 1962 D nickels are off the charts. As they are so incredibly fresh, they give a new meaning to the term FULL STEP. These beauties are so clean, you can see every single detail in High Definition. For example, the 1969 D was graded as having Full Steps, because it has 5 full steps in the front. Whereas the pair of 1962 D, clearly show not 1 but 3 Full sets of steps. Also, 1 nickel is Blue the other is a rainbow coloring.
Please tell me your thoughts, and how you would get the best grade and price, if they were yours.
Need your help. I have 5 nickels: 1939 NGC MS-62 5FS; 1950-D NGC MS-65 5FS; 1971-D NGC MS-64 5FS; and 1971-D NGC MS-66 5FS that were refused for auction by a major US auction house. Out of the more than 10 coins I identify for auction, the female rep only recognized the 1914-D cent as valuable. She suggested I sell my coins through eBay or other means. Included in the auction list was my Jeff nickel 1961-D NGC MS-66 that can sell for over $1K. Can you suggest which auction house I should submit my coins?
Love you're video's, very helpful, I am new to coin collecting, and I started coin roll hunting, so far the best coin I have found is a 1940 nickel with full steps, no mint, can you give me any Idea what it might be worth, or how I would find out? Keep up the good work.
I have one with not fool stept. It is valuable ?
hi have 1942,43,44,63 how much they will cost??
thanks
i have the same nicle but it has a few diference, like it is leaned more to the right than to the left. The liberty title is top is almost gone. I wish to sell it but i dont know where?
Very informative and a motivator to check circulated coins in our jars. Thanks!
I found a '61 least wk in pocket change with only one tiny tiny scratch on the entire coin, both sides and has beautiful full steps! I thought it was a new coin because of it's condition and was so surprised when I saw the date
So if you have 2012-2017 full six steps, are they worth anything?
Thank you for your videos shared. I especially appreciate how well you explain the particular coin discussing. As for those who leave BS comments consider yourselves idiots who lack social skills and haven't any respect for yourselves let alone others. If you do not find the videos shared helpful surely there are childish games you might find more educational. Be appreciative people for those willing to share their knowledge of coins with those of us just getting into coin hunting & collecting. I found your video very helpful for I have Four 1969-S, 1969-D and 1969 Lincoln Memorial Proof Sets to send out for grading thanks to your information.
I have one with one full step and another slotted step,is it worth looking into? Just subbed!
Efish3
Man, I've got a 1960D Jefferson with FANTASTIC devices ob-and reverse with unbelievable RAINBOW toning! After seeing thid vid, I must send it off for grading!!
I have this coin in my collection where can I take it to have someone look at it? Thank you I would really appreciate it!
I got some 57 65 66 and 67 what can I do to get them check out
I got a 1977 s nickel fs what should I do and how to get graded
Agree it’s weird they graded it a 65, but I’ve seen a lot of nickels that had high grades that had more contact marks than what you’d expect at that grade. Not sure why that is.
Wow...The coin is absolutely in brand new state.
I did found a 1969D nickel in my nickel jar, the front of the coin has a very tiny FS on the bottom, but I can't see the Full steps on the back of Monticello. Will that still be more than its face value?
How about my NGC 1941-S nickel, MS-64, 6 Full Steps, AND, it's designated as Partial Collar on Blank. What would it be worth?
BlueRidge, can yo tell me if you can tell me how much can I sell this coins, I have none circulated 2005, 5 cent Buffalo coin.i have them on rolls I have never open up since I about them!
I have a 1967, no mint mark, Jefferson Nickel with full steps...is it worth any thing? Should I have it graded?
its very rare I can't find a price on it. reference a 1966 ms65FS $10,000 hope this helps/. There were no mintmark from 1965,1966,1967
Blue Ridge, can you help me? I found a very odd 1936 buffalo nickel. The rim on top has a chunk of metal on it. It's a tiny bit on the bottom and around the sides too. Is there an easy way to tell if it's an error in casting or just solder? I don't know if it's worth sending to PCGS. I can send you a picture if you'd like. Please help!
missesmada11 help is on the way

I have a 69-d nickle with 3 steps, but not 5. It looks really clean too, 66 maybe 66+, if only it had 2 more steps.
How much does coin grading cost per coin i have 1962 like new most 60 to 90 like brand new scared to sell cause dont want to get ripped off
. First educate yourself by watching these youtube videos and searching Google to learn about what to look for. It's all about SCARCITY. For some years, if there are a lot of nickels with full steps, then they are not worth that much. But in some years & and at some "mints", they did not bother to replace the "DIE" that struck the coins. That meant the DIE just wore out and they minted millions of coins with very little detail.
So apparently in 1969 at the Denver Mint they did not replace the DIEs very often so almost ALL the 1969-D nickels have no "steps". You kind of have to be fortunate enough to find one of the coins that were MINTED FIRST, before the die wore out.
Each coin, Denomination, Year, & Mint, has it's own story. In some years, at some mints, with some coins, they were a bit lazy and the really good ones are RARE..
. GRADING A COIN: The two MAIN grading companies are PCGS & NGS. You can google that. It might cost $50+ or so to get a coin "graded" so you need to understand what you have before doing that.
BEWARE: Don't buy graded coins from eBay unless you KNOW WHAT you are doing. Sadly, a certain nameless country is creating a lot of slabbed, "graded" coins, but they are fake. There is a way of verifying it's real before you buy but that takes a bit of learning. GOOD LUCK.
Halo sir i love to watch your videos very informative.. I love collecting coins.. I got a mint condition 1961 jefferson nickel.. Do you think its worth something.. It looks like it was hardly circulated.
dang, i found a 1940 p that would've had full steps, but a small line of wear that runs from the top step to the bottom one.
This is going to cause me to investigate my coins more closely...Thank you.
Just found 1964 and 1974 D
Full step in my collection BU

You would probably need to post a picture about it for people to see.
+JasonGaming sure, i am gonna take better picture if you guys advice me

+NIRMAL BODANA first, go to a few coin shops nearby and ask what grade they'll give the coins. Then you can make your decision.

will someone please help me out with these Jefferson nickels with full steps I know I do believe the date is from 1938 to 1989 it's supposed to have five full steps and from 1990 to present day it should be full 6 full distinguishable steps my question is does that count and include proof Nichols in proof sets if they have the four steps is it worth the same amount as a business strike or is it worth nothing
