Protools 12 Display too Small ? This will fix it

Protools Newest Bug with display setting. Here's the remedy. Simple
The settings with the new Windows 10 OS , along with 8th Gen i7 Processors, need to be adjusted.. takes 2 minutes to fix.. Even though it took a lot longer to figure out:) hope this helps

If this does not work: compatibility-have everything unchecked-click on “change high DPI settings”-check both “use settings to fix scale problems...” and “override high DPI scaling behavior” change drop down from application to system. This is what worked for me.

I was about to re-install the entire software!
Just changed the DPI settings and it worked!
Compatibility > change high dpi settings > checked "override high dpi scaling behaviour" > drop down "system.”
Using windows 10.

Nailed it! Super helpful!! I would say that, in newer versions of Windows, you may need to select the "Change High DPI settings" button then "Over-ride Hihj DPI Scaling Behavior: Scaling Performed by (select from drop-down) System.

Bro, thanks! This has been happening to me for two months whenever I used midi.
My screen would shrink! Your video helped me figure I needed to select “Use system resolution” setting to override the display settings of the app. This actually fixed my problem! Really glad you made this video!

DreamMachineX I’ve just recently downloaded protools first and I’m having the same issue. As soon as I press the first key stroke on my midi the screen shrinks. Only way I can get it to go back to normal is to uninstall and then reinstall the app and sign back in to avid. Everything works fine until I plug in my midi and reopen protools first and again as soon as I press a button on the midi keyboard the screen shrinks

Today I wanted to import Session data to another project and realized, that I can‘t see the whole window. I can select the tracks to import, but the setting further down I can’t see. I tried to change the size of that window, which didn’t work. Afterwards I tried to change the resolution of Pro Tools, or my PC, but i didn’t find a way to scale Pro Tools down to see everything. Anyone had the same problem and knows a solution? :/

I downloaded the ProTools demo. I had it years ago but opted for another DAW. Sad to see they haven't even updated the tiny Windows 98 style font.
1) This should have been updated in a new GUI. 2) Customizing the look, should simply be in the Preference or View menus like my DAW.
I don't see myself buying into this dinosaur even if... it is "industry standard." Don't even get me started on the slow load, along with indecipherable windows opening with errors and warnings. Not once have I had that in my DAW. Horrible user experience. Just horrible.

Size gets fixed, and Pro Tools is eventually usable. But the characters look fuzzy, on my high density pixel monitor, at a disturbing level. Am I the only one who has this problem?
