@@sunrisefarm_on_the_hillthat’s great. We have a 5 month old Sheepadoodle, due his first big groom next week, fancy having a go myself so videos like yours are great.Love from the UK 🇬🇧
It takes time and patience and the younger you start them the better they are. The first few times I groomed him, he looked crazy. You’ll get better and it’s definitely worth it!
What an adorable dog ☺️and lovely that you take the time and effort for his bath times. I have a giant breed and I also can spend almost a whole day to wash and groom him, so nice when he’s all clean but doesn’t stay that way for long! Great idea about the beauty headband while blow drying thanks 👍🏼
I have 3 sheepadoodles I groom myself. Try to take the cone off the dryer hose turn down the dryer. Go close to his face. It blows out easier and it's not as noisy. You can alsouse it with heat on the body after the coat is dry to fluff his coat. He's a good boy.
Btw, as someone who is a dog groomer, all the angles you were going at for his paw pads is pretty dangerous and it's worrisome how tight his curls are even after washing and drying. That usually means matting in doodles.
Btw, this comment was highly unnecessary. I clearly stated as a disclaimer that I am not a groomer. However I learned from his original groomer, who specializes in show poodles. His curls are that way do to his genetics and breed. His dad was a poodle with dense curls and mom was a wavy haired old English sheep dog. I clearly state in the video to beginners, “go slow and take your time”. If you were genuinely concerned about my dogs health I assume you would’ve taken the time out to properly reach out. Instead of post your assumptions in my comments on a 12 minute video having never met me or my dog. 😒
What a well behaved dog 😊
He is seriously the best and I always love getting new comments on old videos to see how much better I’ve gotten and how great he is.

I have 7 months old Sheepadoodle I want her hair to be longer as well but I don’t. Like when she dug into the fire pit 😂 I love your dog hair too.
Thank you! It can be so much work keeping them long especially during bad weather seasons.
Great video honey
Thank you! 💕
He’s a love bug ❤
