    I have a load balanced farm with 2 servers, each server has a leg of each website, I have more than 50 websites (so 50 in each server), different ports, every site with it's own certificate binding.
    To monitor certificate for every site I should create 1 host for each site, meaning I needed to create 100 hosts (50+50)? Isn't there a simpler way, where I can put a list of https url's and one single agent/host can validate the certificate for every URL? Does this make sense?

      Which Zabbix/Zabbix agent 2 version are you using? The feature was implemented as a part of support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-6708 and is supported starting from Zabbix 5.0.14/5.4.3/6.0
      Please also make sure that you're using the official template available for download at: www.zabbix.com/integrations/ssl

    Hello! should i create a new host for every certificate?

    • @zabbix
      @zabbix  2 года назад

      Since we're using host/template macros here - yes, it would make sense to create a single host per certificate.

      Could you elaborate on any error messages that you're seeing in the items/latest data section of the host that you're trying to monitor?

    there is a way to monitor multiple SSL certificates on one host?

    • @zabbix
      @zabbix  Год назад +3

      Ideally, you would create one host per certificate.
      If you wish to have multiple web.certificate items on a single Zabbix host, you would have to manually create additional
      web.certificate.get item, only instead of using macros in parameters, you would manually type in the hostname/port/ip directly in the item parameters.
      Once that is done, you can create dependent items akin to what already exists on the template, only this time they would depend on the item you created in the previous step.
