By far the best moment of 2016 Berserk. You can bad mouth it all you want, but this very scene is what got me into Berserk. I never knew anything about Berserk and was only watching 2016 for laughs, because people were talking how bad it was. But... This? This moment when Guts is just "one step" away from his beloved Casca he chases down this whole season, and faces off a horde of an apostle spawns that separate them, with Hai Yo in the background, is absolutely breathtaking, even with the awful graphics. A man desperate enough to fight gods themselves, nothing will stop him. Epic level 10000, I was blown away. Watched this ending like a million times. This single moment made me love Guts so much I went straight to the manga and other anime, and I fell in love further from there. Guys, give 2016 Berserk some respect. It's trash, but simply because of how good is the story and music, it DOES have it's moments.
They could’ve done what Mappa did with Attack on Titan S4, the CGI looks wayyy better than here and they didn’t abuse the shit out of it. Even the movies were better animated.
Ive just started the manga and im now at chap 182. It makes me sad that none of the anime portrays the manga perfectly. Sad that Berserk wasnt as lucky as attack on titan.

The power of the storyline. I got into Berserk by watching this horrendous 2016 anime. But the story and theme are so good it got me hooked. I wished renown studios like Mappa take the challenge to animate Ganishka. If they nailed it, that'll be the best anime scene in forever.
I really enjoyed this tower chapters, we could learn a lot from it, like the "believers" lead by Mozgus and his fanatic vision lead them to death (that they believed themselves as chosen one by God). While all the commoners and civilians took refuge on the tower "praying to God for protection" and waiting a miracle, just the few who stood and fight on the ramparts (Guts and company) they survived the ceremony., The ones who chose to fight against all odds (the demons) until the dawn they survived and all the pious and religious that they chose just pray and don't act by consecuence they all died by the tower collapse. A good allegory that if you fight you can lose, but if you don't fight (pray) you are lost. Thank you for this lessons Kentaro Miura. Wherever you are I salute you.
