But, he was scared... Even if he wasn't showing it... Lawless was devastated... But he never forgot about ophelia and his father... And the beautiful thing is that when someone love someone, they even if physically died, survive in soul and keep staying at the side of who cared about them... Kuro was broken by his actions... But his fear make him act like that...

It's too bad hating the animation has become a meme, i liked Berserk 2016. The animation was a weak aspect but not that bad really. I was easily able to suspend disbelief and enjoy the series in totality.

Souma acts and talks like Saitama, completely carefree, wants a challenge but knows he's number one. Anytime there is something completely world-ending to other people, he stands around fearlessly (dumbly) and acts like it's a relaxing stroll through the park.

years later, still one of my favourite voice acting from their two va's. this whole show had a star-studded cast that were PERFECT in their roles but this scene went crazy with the va's.

And he still lost. That's what made this great. It isn't constantly winning; it is about getting better.

The power of the storyline. I got into Berserk by watching this horrendous 2016 anime. But the story and theme are so good it got me hooked. I wished renown studios like Mappa take the challenge to animate Ganishka. If they nailed it, that'll be the best anime scene in forever.
