hey gracie! i live in juneau, and it’s safe to say our weather doesn’t always warm up as summer progresses! we are in the heart of a rainforest, so the only weather we are guaranteed is rain. last year june was 80° and sunny all month and july was 50’s and rainy! my biggest packing tip to anyone travailing to Southeast Alaska by cruise, is to pack everything! A little bit of T-shirts a little bit of layers, shorts, etc. The weather app is constantly changing :)
I went on a cruise to Alaska on Carnival and the inside was warm but our ship was old too. The vibe was not there and it was a very relaxing trip compared to a party one that I’m used to. I wouldn’t do the Alaska cruise again but I will continue to cruise to sunny upbeat destinations.
Great video. was having a debate between regular leggings and Lined leggings will definitely be both lol. We go in September so a warm puffer is coming to. Along with wool socks.
Hi Gracie good morning happy Tuesday morning and I hope you having amazing day today and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you
Would the rain jacket have worked as a warmer layer over a fleece instead of a puffer jacket? I am cruising late April into early may next year and want to have a multipurpose jacket if possible.
I definitely want to do an Alaska cruise, but (like you) it’s not high on my bucket list either. I’d love to do it twice, like one on a small ship and one on a big ship. I think it would be cool to do a cruise tour like what Princess offers for most of their destination Cruises. I definitely want to do the Panama Canal again and go on a big ship! It would definitely be more fun than being in a small ship again lol.
Forget the cruise. You're missing the real Alaska - the wilderness in the middle of absolute isolation from humanity. Take a drive along the Dalton Highway to Prudhoe Bay. The wildest adventure of life. Conquered it in 2019 after I conquered the similar Dempster Highway in Canada.

ahh i've been binging your cruise videos in prep for my alaska cruise this summer so this video could not have come at a better time
I really like cruises that are something different to sun and warm, it's a totally different vibe
This was so helpful! Thank you! I so relate to not being able to think about anything else when I’m cold. :)
Thank you so much!! I’m going on my first cruise next May and it’s an Alaska cruise!
I usually get stuck under the air conditioning vent, so I always plan an outfit with a shawl, wrap or thin cardigan.
This is great!!! right in time for my Alaskan cruise thanks for the awesome video!

watching this as a Canadian who has done Alaska twice is so funny cause I WAS out and about in running shorts and a hoodie even on the colder days lol
Floridians are the exception to all things weather. 😂
It was very Florida indeed...the thought of not packing a cardigan or another light outer layer is wild to me too.

I’m from Las Vegas and I can’t stand cold weather 😭 I’m definitely packing a big coat 😂 better be safe than sorry!
I'm lauging because I went to Alaska in March 2017 & 2020. Our reaction was that an Alaska 25 is warmer than an Ohio 25.
Hahah! Different perspectives for sure!
