8th season already please! I watched the whole 7th season in one sitting; staying up until about 1:30 a.m. I just want to know that Jake and Mickey are okay and on good terms in their relationship. And that no one has come in between them and their love for each other.
I hope Micky does not consider a 3-way because someone always gets hurt due to feeling left out. And Micky needs to listen to Tyson about not pressuring Jake about getting on PrEP because pressuring Jake about this is a fast way to losing him.

He is using the role of giving advice pretending friendship only to manoeuvre his way into Micky's life because he his attracted to them both but mainly Micky. Ultimately he plays a bad role in their lives and is a bad seed for them. A bit of perverse story line by the writer, unfortunately.

Watched all episodes and enjoyed how it kept developing and improving over time. Although this show is aimed at a younger demographic then mine I still really connected with the characters and story lines. Even those of us fans that are gayancient...... 50 years + loved it.

Wow, I love this series so much! I can't believe I watched the whole season. Actors are all amazing and lovable. One little thing I do want to mention was that the theme song changed. It's kinda weird that for six seasons we all have gotten used to the theme song and it has become the anthem for the show, like all hit shows on t.v., and I put this show among them, so I'm a bit perplexed as to why you would suddenly change it. Anyway, the production value is incredible, storylines are awesome, and love that the series is very positive and energetic with enough drama. Love! I want to support this show. Where do I go?
Great show! I give it 5/5 WOOFS! I suppose I shall wait ever so impatiently for more. The topics are important ones and I feel like the writing doesn't assume the audience is dull, which I love about it. Also, the acting is done quite well and emotional scenes really tug at the heart strings. Good job all! Special shout-out to Matthew Clarke though for his job as Mickey. Maybe it's because I enjoy the character's struggles so much, maybe it's just that Matt is hot AF, but I think it's probably both. Keep up the phenomenal work, Matt, and your hair this last season has been a great fit for you. For those arguing about the characters decisions in the show, remember that everyone's lives are subjective to what the "right" choice is when it comes to things like open-relationships, PrEP, and the quality of a relationship. What might seem like an obvious choice for you might be difficult for others and we should respect and address those struggles to better educate the community on the consequences to our choices. I really appreciate this show covering topics that we just don't see in prime time television because as we should well know, visibility is a major step in addressing a topic. Thanks again! WOW - what a season finale! Just bombshells all over the place! STEVIE is back?? and wants to re-kindle things with Saxon -- whose heart has obviously moved on with Matt -- Randy wants to have a child with Jake -- how is Mickey going to handle that -- and I KNEW that Tyson HAD to have a freaky skeleton in his closet, he was just TOO perfect -- but I had NO idea he'd go for Micky OVER Jake, and want them ALL to have an experience -- the SAD thing is, I think Micky is at the point that he's going to judge the strength/validity of his and Jake's relationship SOLELY based on the ANSWER Jake gives, IF the question of wanting to go there gets asked (and at this point, I'm not even sure it will)...and I did NOT expect that Wilma would actually find a seemingly GOOD guy (obviously the ROOMMATE of freaky Indian diaper fetish guy) AND get the ring back -- but what skeletons does THIS guy have in HIS closet and how will that all flesh out...just GREAT writing and acting all around (I sure wish we could DOUBLE the episodes a season though!)

I am going to be very unhappy if Jake and Micky breakup. Its like rooting for a pair for years and they split, or die or grow out of love or find someone else. That is like the through line of most LGBTQ+ targeted series. Horizon, please surprise me.

I just discovered this series and have binge-watched everything over the last couple of evenings. I wonder if my boring Canadian accent would sound as exotic to Australian ears as theirs does to mine? It's pronounced "aytch", not "haytch", when referring to the letter "H" - do Aussie teachers actually get their students to make these weird sounds, and does the Board of Education know? Yes, the new theme music is boring, and even more obnoxious than the previous bare-bones meth disco. Just because we are now in 2017 doesn't mean that melody and chord progression have died - but then, those of us old enough to remember the 70's and 80's know what real gay disco music should sound like. A great series - I wish there was a Canadian equivalent, but we tend to let the Americans show off - we just sneak across the border to audition for it!!! Where The Bears Are is worth a look... I like that your show supports HIV and sexual health current events and research - most series tend to avoid the topic altogether (I'm looking at YOU, Will and Grace!) I like the character development, and look forward to seeing more of Saxon's adventures - perhaps he deserves a spin-off - or a least a calendar of pics of him celebrating the seasons! After the first couple of seasons and the actor changes, it's nice to see some continuity in character portrayals, though the gal and guy playing Millie and Mickey in Season 2 were superb - though the current cast is just as effective, and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for exploring rural vs urban existence and the roads some gay people have to travel to get to where they can start to be themselves. In fact, the only thing missing is a character in their 50's or 60's - gay seniors exist, and many have survived astounding tragedies from the AIDS era, and would have stories to tell that would explain why the kids of today are scared shitless of sex without condoms (pronounced condum in North America, by the way!) I look forward to more episodes, and thank you for sharing your work with the world here on RUclips. Our community deserves a mirror, and until Hollywood recognizes that, we have to make do with sexless superheros in spandex... My best wishes to you, and continue to break legs!!! Bravo!

Leftatalbuquerque My friend don't hold your breath for Hollywood or your neighbour country to the south to move into the 21st Century any time soon. Particularly as the right wing fundamentalist god botherers have the country by the balls and that really is not going to change for a long time if ever. Especially where homosexuality in film/tele etc is concerned. It is sad that Canada chooses still to take a back seat to the usamericans. There are some very fine actors and film makers in Canada. Canada needs to stop playing the poor relation or step child. But as long as your countrymen/women keep pandering to Hollywood and usa, feeling less than, nothing will happen. Australia has also pandered to and at times emulated their new world cousins, usa but fortunately the influence of Britain is a bit stronger. Little to no censorship imposed by religion and govt. Watch talk shows like Chatty Man or Graham Norton here at youtube. Both hosts are OUT and their shows have been Number 1 during many years. See how many usamerican guests become totally different people not needing to be politically correct or needing to self censor what they say. It is enlightening. If Canada follows that same puritanical morality as the usa then series and films dealing with homosexual life will never evolve. I've seen a couple of daring gay themed films out of Canada. Fortunately there are wonderful and meaningful films from South America (Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil), Spain, Italy, Germany. They deal with the reality of homosexuality and the life in a positive manner often provocative, challenging and not shying away from relevant issues. Possibly Canadians can be credited in modern times with speaking proper English, certainly as a French speaker French Canadian is often unintelligible. However as I am an expatriate from NYC living across the pond since decades I can say what I hear coming out to the mouths of most usamericans is such a deteriorated and corrupted english that in a hundred years they may be back to grunting. I find Australian, NZ, Irish, Scots, Welsh, South African accents delightful and charming and I know for a fact I am not alone. Ps, because I love Australia as much as I enjoy the series for the stories, acting, ....... it is the views of Sydney that make my day as well. I remember when I left Australia after 1 year to return to Europe via USA the jet literally flew over Sydney Harbour, Bridge, Opera etc just like in a film and I burst into tears because I had fallen in love with the country and the people. It is a great country, in most ways far superiour to the USA as a new world country. Their greatest mistake is trying to emulate the USA. Hollywood is filled with Australian, New Zealand, British, Canadian actors ....... why? because they are in every way superiour. It is only a pity that they want the Hollywood life and big money because they would all be better off building up their own countries entertainment industries. I found and find that Aussie tele and films most often are superiour to anything Hollywood can produce. Oh, ...... and I grew up in the entertainment industry NYC and Los Angeles so I do know what I am saying.
Like most creators where they're musicians, painters or writers Boaz deliberately creates situations and uses those experiences as grist for the mill. I suppose family, friends and partners shouldn't really expect that not to happen, or more fool them.

Can't resist, not finished watching but "beware cute dumb blondes with killer smiles". Would you go and discuss something so personal and intimate with a total stranger? One who is obviously ready to sleep with anyone! Further, Would Micky speak to just any stranger about his personal life when he was so upset with Jake for speaking with Wilma who is a friend and really their benefactor. Tyson's approach is totally self serving. He is like the snake in the garden of Eden. Pretending to be Micky's friend to get what he wants. I am sad that this was written, it makes Micky seem gullible and stupid to even consider this offer. In the space of a short time Tyson has slept with AJ, put the moves on the hot security guard ?? Yank, flirted with Jake (Jakie) now is on to Micky and not caring how he gets him in bed will do and say anything. And poor naive Jake arrives to find the two cozy at home and does not question anything and doesn't react. If Jake had made this suggestion to Micky, Micky would have gone ballistic. I thought Micky had gotten a job and now it seems he is again not doing anything. There is a continuity problem. In fact several threads left hanging, quite annoying. But I'll get to those at another point. OK, In truth if the ring had been so important Wilma would not have gotten so fucked up on booze and drugs and/or not worn the ring during a night of riotous debauchery. But she is one lucky queen to catch Joe in her net. Let's hope she doesn't blow it. He is handsome as F__K. "It seems like Happiness is just a thing called Joe, he has a smile that makes the lilacs want to grow, he has a way that makes the angels heave a sigh, whenever Joe goes passing by" ! Because where I live rent, food etc cost real money which requires more than 2 hours work per day. So Saxon and Matt quickly reconcile with no discussion of what happened and on a nice afternoon with nothing to do having had sex all night now they can think of anything to do but fuck. Don't go for a walk on the beach or swim, or go sit at a café and get to know each other, or go cycling, or anything productive on a fine day. A nice boat ride around Sydney Harbour, which never gets old or the ferry to Manley. Oh NO, not Stevie ..... he is so not a match for Saxon either visually or in personality. Matt is much more solid. Don't people ring up before showing up at your door? That is just rude and inappropriate. And that Saxon lets Stevie kiss him is wrong on many levels. If you are not into someone and have a new romance in your bed wouldn't you jerk your head back when someone unwanted tries to kiss you instead of leaning into it???????????? I do like this series but a little variation of themes wouldn't hurt.

ONLY against HIV, and even there it is not 100% and PrEP does not protect against any other STI ... so "hating using condoms" is not an excuse but just PLAIN STUPID, expecially if you have a lot of sex with a lot of different guys ... so please be less biased in informing about PrEP on this show in the future and inform about side effects and the importance of using condoms in addition to PrEP!!!!

Watched all episodes and enjoyed how it kept developing and improving over time. Although this show is aimed at a younger demographic then mine I still really connected with the characters and story lines. Even those of us fans that are gayancient...... 50 years + loved it.

Wow, I love this series so much! I can't believe I watched the whole season. Actors are all amazing and lovable. One little thing I do want to mention was that the theme song changed. It's kinda weird that for six seasons we all have gotten used to the theme song and it has become the anthem for the show, like all hit shows on t.v., and I put this show among them, so I'm a bit perplexed as to why you would suddenly change it. Anyway, the production value is incredible, storylines are awesome, and love that the series is very positive and energetic with enough drama. Love! I want to support this show. Where do I go?

Great show! I give it 5/5 WOOFS! I suppose I shall wait ever so impatiently for more.
The topics are important ones and I feel like the writing doesn't assume the audience is dull, which I love about it.
Also, the acting is done quite well and emotional scenes really tug at the heart strings. Good job all! Special shout-out to Matthew Clarke though for his job as Mickey. Maybe it's because I enjoy the character's struggles so much, maybe it's just that Matt is hot AF, but I think it's probably both. Keep up the phenomenal work, Matt, and your hair this last season has been a great fit for you.
For those arguing about the characters decisions in the show, remember that everyone's lives are subjective to what the "right" choice is when it comes to things like open-relationships, PrEP, and the quality of a relationship. What might seem like an obvious choice for you might be difficult for others and we should respect and address those struggles to better educate the community on the consequences to our choices. I really appreciate this show covering topics that we just don't see in prime time television because as we should well know, visibility is a major step in addressing a topic.

WOW - what a season finale! Just bombshells all over the place! STEVIE is back?? and wants to re-kindle things with Saxon -- whose heart has obviously moved on with Matt -- Randy wants to have a child with Jake -- how is Mickey going to handle that -- and I KNEW that Tyson HAD to have a freaky skeleton in his closet, he was just TOO perfect -- but I had NO idea he'd go for Micky OVER Jake, and want them ALL to have an experience -- the SAD thing is, I think Micky is at the point that he's going to judge the strength/validity of his and Jake's relationship SOLELY based on the ANSWER Jake gives, IF the question of wanting to go there gets asked (and at this point, I'm not even sure it will)...and I did NOT expect that Wilma would actually find a seemingly GOOD guy (obviously the ROOMMATE of freaky Indian diaper fetish guy) AND get the ring back -- but what skeletons does THIS guy have in HIS closet and how will that all flesh out...just GREAT writing and acting all around (I sure wish we could DOUBLE the episodes a season though!)

I just discovered this series and have binge-watched everything over the last couple of evenings. I wonder if my boring Canadian accent would sound as exotic to Australian ears as theirs does to mine? It's pronounced "aytch", not "haytch", when referring to the letter "H" - do Aussie teachers actually get their students to make these weird sounds, and does the Board of Education know? Yes, the new theme music is boring, and even more obnoxious than the previous bare-bones meth disco. Just because we are now in 2017 doesn't mean that melody and chord progression have died - but then, those of us old enough to remember the 70's and 80's know what real gay disco music should sound like. A great series - I wish there was a Canadian equivalent, but we tend to let the Americans show off - we just sneak across the border to audition for it!!! Where The Bears Are is worth a look... I like that your show supports HIV and sexual health current events and research - most series tend to avoid the topic altogether (I'm looking at YOU, Will and Grace!) I like the character development, and look forward to seeing more of Saxon's adventures - perhaps he deserves a spin-off - or a least a calendar of pics of him celebrating the seasons! After the first couple of seasons and the actor changes, it's nice to see some continuity in character portrayals, though the gal and guy playing Millie and Mickey in Season 2 were superb - though the current cast is just as effective, and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for exploring rural vs urban existence and the roads some gay people have to travel to get to where they can start to be themselves. In fact, the only thing missing is a character in their 50's or 60's - gay seniors exist, and many have survived astounding tragedies from the AIDS era, and would have stories to tell that would explain why the kids of today are scared shitless of sex without condoms (pronounced condum in North America, by the way!) I look forward to more episodes, and thank you for sharing your work with the world here on RUclips. Our community deserves a mirror, and until Hollywood recognizes that, we have to make do with sexless superheros in spandex... My best wishes to you, and continue to break legs!!! Bravo!

Leftatalbuquerque, basically agree with you BUT don´t try to pass your Canadian/North American accent off as the standard for pronunciation ... there are areas in Britain and Ireland where the lovely and often neglected consonant "H" is pronounced "haytch" ... and apparently they do it as well down under ... so do not dare to mock them about it because it sounds adorable!!

Particularly as the right wing fundamentalist god botherers have the country by the balls and that really is not going to change for a long time if ever. Especially where homosexuality in film/tele etc is concerned.
It is sad that Canada chooses still to take a back seat to the usamericans. There are some very fine actors and film makers in Canada. Canada needs to stop playing the poor relation or step child. But as long as your countrymen/women keep pandering to Hollywood and usa, feeling less than, nothing will happen.
Australia has also pandered to and at times emulated their new world cousins, usa but fortunately the influence of Britain is a bit stronger. Little to no censorship imposed by religion and govt.
Watch talk shows like Chatty Man or Graham Norton here at youtube. Both hosts are OUT and their shows have been Number 1 during many years. See how many usamerican guests become totally different people not needing to be politically correct or needing to self censor what they say. It is enlightening.
If Canada follows that same puritanical morality as the usa then series and films dealing with homosexual life will never evolve. I've seen a couple of daring gay themed films out of Canada.
Fortunately there are wonderful and meaningful films from South America (Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil), Spain, Italy, Germany. They deal with the reality of homosexuality and the life in a positive manner often provocative, challenging and not shying away from relevant issues.
Ps, ditto what docstef MD wrote re: "haytch" ...... Possibly Canadians can be credited in modern times with speaking proper English, certainly as a French speaker French Canadian is often unintelligible. However as I am an expatriate from NYC living across the pond since decades I can say what I hear coming out to the mouths of most usamericans is such a deteriorated and corrupted english that in a hundred years they may be back to grunting.
I find Australian, NZ, Irish, Scots, Welsh, South African accents delightful and charming and I know for a fact I am not alone. As for North America I can say that I do prefer the Canadian English to the USA any day.

Ps, because I love Australia as much as I enjoy the series for the stories, acting, ....... it is the views of Sydney that make my day as well.
I remember when I left Australia after 1 year to return to Europe via USA the jet literally flew over Sydney Harbour, Bridge, Opera etc just like in a film and I burst into tears because I had fallen in love with the country and the people. It is a great country, in most ways far superiour to the USA as a new world country. Their greatest mistake is trying to emulate the USA.
Hollywood is filled with Australian, New Zealand, British, Canadian actors ....... why? because they are in every way superiour. It is only a pity that they want the Hollywood life and big money because they would all be better off building up their own countries entertainment industries.
I found and find that Aussie tele and films most often are superiour to anything Hollywood can produce.
Oh, ...... and I grew up in the entertainment industry NYC and Los Angeles so I do know what I am saying.
Like most creators where they're musicians, painters or writers Boaz deliberately creates situations and uses those experiences as grist for the mill. I suppose family, friends and partners shouldn't really expect that not to happen, or more fool them.
