MY SETTINGS FOR MY BASS SHAKERS: ruclips.net/video/Yk73cvyyFUM/видео.html
Man, i just got my shakers, and this is by far the most clear explanation of how to set them up. Thanks a lot. Subscribed!
Which model did u get?
Thanks for the video - very helpful. I'm redesigning my setup going from 5 (DaytonAudio Pucks) down to 2 (Bass Pump III ) transducers, I found that trying to get stereo separation on the rig is very hard to achieve well. So having just 2 (front & rear) better quality transducers for me is better than 4-5 small basic ones
Yes i agree, and I think that is a good move glad the video helped 👍🏻
I had unknown vibrations coming from simhub to my Buttkicker Plus 2. It kept pulsing even if my car wasnt moving. Fixed it by reinstalling simhub. Just putting this out there in case people ran into that issue. For me, I didnt need get a 2nd sound card. I set my output on simhub as the Buttkicker Plus 2, physicially, the amp was plugged to my pc via the provided usb cable. Then I set my computer's audio output to my VR headset audio.
Start out with one effect at a time, and you'll find the problem
If you have a Woojer haptic vest you can add it to sim hub and have six more left/right kickers.
On my rig I have the 4 corners/pedal plate and Woojer Vest connected.
Vest takes care of engine revs and gear shifts. In VR it adds immersion.
dude I never thought about that. I have a single buttkicker, that's a solid idea lol
Thank you, this answered my questions about setting up a shaker with a racing rig.
I've just purchased 2 dayton bst-2s as I only run a fgt lite rig so it can pack away to keep the wife happy. Can't wait to try them out
Did u already try it? can you share your experience?
@@Pedro-fo4et Vote for Pedro... 😜 I have mate I have been using them for about a week. I designed and 3d printed some mounts to attach one directly to the bottom of my pedals and added a extra bar between the 2 legs of the seat at the rear.
They definitely supply enough feedback being only a fgt lite. If you have the same rig I definitely don't recommend this guys settings though I first tried with his and it was just a massive vibrating mess that literally made me 2nd guess everything I ha done lol. This is nothing against him just I guess everyone's rig is diffrent and shaker settings are not a 1 size fits all.
After going threw each individual setting and dialing it in to what I want though I definitely wouldn't go back to not using them. I accidentally didn't start simhub one day and immediately noticed and it felt terribly wrong not feeling any input other then the DD wheel
Awesome man I had seen others, but I really wanted to run just two and wanted to run them exactly like you did. This was super helpful thanks for all the input. I’m about to order them and will be back to get all of my setting from you! Thanks again!
No problem at all 😁👍🏻
How did it turn out? I am seriously considering this.
Please let me know if it was worth it.
I ran it with iracing and just used the settings on iracing it worked better but had one under my seat and one under my pedals and totally worth it. Game changer
Got my kit coming in, super excited, I just want to feel vehicle speed increasing and decreasing so I can judge the speed I to the corner
i noticed simular on my rig it is pretty narrow for space reasons in my living room , and when i put 4 shakers one in each corner i cant rly feel difference between left and right vibrating.
so i go and try 1 front 1 back sound reasonable for me.
i could safe some money there damnit xd
Thanks a lot for your help! Without your help i'd be lost.
no problem at all mate
Good stuff, thanks for sharing!
Great job doing this, it took me a long time to get mine dialled in, this would have helped back in the day. Top job.
Thanks Wayne
Great Video! Other than plugging in the amp to a USB port on the back of the computer, there is nothing else to in Windows, correct? The "sound" out device in windows can still be set to either a set of speakers or my headphones, correct? All the settings and config to get the BST-1 and amp to produce feedback is done in simhub?
Thank you, really clear and well explained video. 👍
Doing the same thing for my desk rig. Works amazingly.
Great vid but having trouble sorting mine out for some reason if I test the front or rear channels both shakers work for both cannels
great video mate thanks for all you hard work and dedication its very much appreciated your a Dimond and I'm loving the channel ;-)
Thanks bro 😎👍🏻
Thanks for explaining. I just bought one bst-1 for the rear to see if I like it, also got the nobsound. If I enjoy it I may get another for the front. I was wondering, do you think a bts-2 is enough for the front or should it also be a strong one like the bst-1?
if you would like my settings for simhub just drop a comment below and let me know
yes please, my settings are a mess
@@ChinzD I will get them posted up for you to try
I'd love to try your settings. I have the same setup except with BST-2's instead.

Hi, awesome, I want to see your bass shaker setup on your cockpit directly, what kind screws, where located exactly, thanks
Great video, thanks fella.
Hello, please tell what in doing wrong. I have all the sounds including bass rumbles coming from by shakers. There is no sounds from my regular speakers
Greats tips Gary, thank you
13:29 Love the "Gameboard" cuts. Was this video edited my Maurice Moss?
Wow not one comment on your whiteboard writing. Good vid thanks
Ha I noticed that too when I saw the backwards Yankee hat! Thought he had a “knockoff” shirt and cap off the back of a truck lol.
Amazing video thanks for the help I'm having an issue with the game in asetta Coursa in ACC it works fine but AC everything is coming threw the shakers. I know you recommend 2 sound cards but I was hoping it would respond the same as ACC any recommendations on this issue ? thank you in advance.
Are they super loud worried about my neibours.. will be using under sofa cushions. Butt kicker was crap when i tried a few years ago. amp kept blowing chinese crap. I want to use for American Truck Simulator.
I have an existing buttkicker under seat w/ BK Amp.
I added a separate the bass shaker speaker under pedal w/Nobsound amp. Bit no vibration in front. Simhub says I need to use USB soundboard.
After this will I be good to have vibration from both?? Of do I need to eliminate either buttkicker amp? Or eliminate nobsound amp?? Or can I use both at same time??
This is a good video, I paid for simhub and it is a nice program - but the documentation is just not there for these individual effects. I have to search thru multiple threads and vids to get my head wrapped around it.
Gear shift is very weird, it doesnt even produce the same shape on the graph in back to back tests. Sometimes its a spike /\ sometimes it gives a plateau shape /--\
Love your videos! Keep it up. Like from ProjectSimRacing.
Thanks dude
So I have my BST-1 and Nobsound Mini hooked from my laptop running Simhub, through telemetry to my PS5. There is a noticeable delay at random times with some of the feedback. Any suggestions?
not sure as i have no idea when it comes to running a ps5 as telemetry
On your selected sound output its showing in green that you only have 2 channels available. Surly selecting 8 channel would make no difference as the only available channels will be front left and front right.
I only mention this as I have 7.1 soundcard with 7.1 surround amp and I'm still only getting 2 channels available even with speakers in Windows set to 7.1.
I know the full range of channels work as I've tested it with audio so it's sim hub that seems to be missing that im usual an 8 channel sound card.
How did you get all your transducers firing with only 2 channels available and also why with only 2 channels available did you choose 8 channel customisation?

Can i use 4 of tranducers, 2 for pedal and 2 for racing chair with 1 4 channel amplifier? 2 tranducers for brake and accelerate on pedal and 2 for chair engine rev and crashing effect.
I got that amp, but any ideas how to get it to just send the sound signal via USB? Its only showing up when Im pairing it via bluetooth. THe USB in doesn't seem to work.
I Did 5 of them 2 Front 2 Rear and 1 Center, everthing works and feels great but on iRacing I can't get my real speaker to work when I choose the speaker output as the Bass Shaker. How can I listen to game and use bass shakers at the same time?
How do you get the computer to recognize the nobsound? Do you connect it to your pc with a 3.5mm cable or do you do it through Bluetooth?
Usb cable
@@garyevanssimracing5922 justrealized the nobsound i got doesn't have a usb port. weird. had to return and order the older version with the usb
I have basically the exact same setup as you but with the bst-2. Any chance you could share your settings? Having a hard time making it feel just right
I am making a video today 👍🏻😁
Curious to know if his settings feel right with the lower power bst-2
Someone Please Help! Has anyone else had an issue with getting your computer to recognize the Dayton BSA-200??? I have it connected w/ a usb and have tried everything under the sun. Cant get my pc to download the amp
thanks real good explain
do you have links where you bought the transducers and amp? Also what cable/wiring did you use to connect the transducer to the amp to the pc?
and a link for the 24 volt? I am looking as well, but just curious as to where you got yours.
Excellent, thank you. At 17:42 what is the Response Curve on the left? Does that fade in/out the rpms? Cheers.
Yes that is correct
@@garyevanssimracing5922 Thanks.
Is 20w bass shaker enough ?
Great video. Sadly I have a flight sim and Sim hub doesn’t do x plane or MSFS.
You need SimShaker for Aviators with the sound module.
hey man great video i have a question if i had 6 shakers 1 at front 1 under seat and 1 for each corner to be each wheel how would i get simhub to see them all could i just plug in each amp into usb and select each amp for desired effects and then adjust or would i need to daisy chain the amps or something?
Yes thats right, basically turn on the usb amps inside of simhubs bass shakers, then allocate the bass shakers to the output you want them to operate
Hi love your idea with the bass shakers could I please get your setup please

Heres a video i made 👍🏻
Useful, cheers m8 🍻
Does it work on FPS games too? I guess not right?
Great video - very helpful! I think I’m going to do this exact set up. I have a playseat trophy and under the seat is just like a mesh material. I’m toying with mounting with tape or mounting to some wood and then mounting that with tape.
As I understand it the amp has its own sound card via usb?
In terms of cables, are you able to cover off what’s needed? Thanks
yes the nobsound mini amp has its own souncard via usb. also i used speaker wire for a subwoofer to wire them up! the bass shakers have a foam type covering on the back so thay are good for mounting direct to your seat, i drilled my seat as the mesh is more than likely fibreglass. hope this helps
@@garyevanssimracing5922 thanks, I have ordered everything! I don’t know if it could mount directly to my seat as my seat is just fabric. I’m trying to find a way to build a beam that goes under the seat to mount to that.
@@garyevanssimracing5922 how do you connect your Nobsound via USB?
@@jeremymartinez6024 my nob sound has a micro usb port, i then connected it to my pc with a usb cable
@@garyevanssimracing5922 thank you. How would you go about connecting multiple Nobsounds to your pc?
Hi Gary, I’ve spent many hours tweaking and tuning my setup to get it exactly where I want it, only to come back a week later and all my settings would be gone. I’ve saved a profile and labeled it and retuned. Come back after a restart and it’s all gone. I was able to pull my saved profile from a folder I saved it onto but when it’s loaded. And I go into the custom settings. Everything I had selected as what I wanted to feel remains. but all channels are on instead of just front left and front right (how I left it)and everything is at 100 % not where I last ran it. 🤔 where do you go and hit SAVE each time you tweak your profile? Btw. I’m using a buttshaker in the back of the seat (engine/gears/impact) and a Nob sound with two Dayton’s inside the sides of the seat. (Traction/road rumble/impact)
Did you ever find the cause of this problem? It keeps happening to me and it's so annoying...
Great video, very helpful. Could you please send me your settings.
I have just made this video Benjamin

Great video, I bought the little Nobsound Amplifier with included sound card. I need an extension cable for the usb of the Nobsound. I thought it’s Usb C , but therefore it’s to small. Do you know the exact type of usb of the Nobsound? Thank you!
Mine is a micro usb port, but it may depend on the nobsound amp ypu have also

hey gary, i’m planning to drill into my fibre glass seat to mount the shakers - any tips for drilling in? rather scared of cracking my seat
Hey Mark, I just made sure my drill bit was sharp....I used a small drill bit to make a pilot hole first, then moved up a size. Hope this helps
@@garyevanssimracing5922 okay!
Great video. Can you hook just one BST-1 to the amp you used?
Yes you can no problem
@@garyevanssimracing5922 Thank you sir. I basically bought the same gear you have but only one BST-1 to see how I like it all first.
@@dklassen yes good idea, just try not to over exaggerate the shaker , try to just make it feel realistic if you are mounting it under your seat for example
I do not recommend this amp for a bst1. I have 4 BST1's and 4 TTS25 Pucks. The Nobsound is NOT enough and will kill itself overtime. This has been discussed on many forums. This amp should not be recommended for a BST1.
@@MDaDonLegacy Hum. I run 2 BST-1's with his exact setup. Been working fine for a long time.
No matter what I do in windows, the nobsound amp keeps setting itself to my default audio out device, causing simhub to keep warning me to change to a dedicated sound card. In windows settings it's not my default though, so I can't figure out whats wrong
Have you resolved that isue?
Same with me and both shakers work when I test both channels
Perfect timing, I've actually bought 2 of the same shakers, and a higher output Nobspund G2 pro.
just a question, I was of the assumption, that if the 2 shakers were plugged into the same amp, and same PC input, they would vibrate together (mono). how do you split them into 2 channels?
Thanks!
Paul
Hey paul have you watched all the video?
@@garyevanssimracing5922 I have, but I'm pretty terrible with all this stuff.

Hi, hard to help without seeing lol.
It could be that you have 2 × mono nobsound devices and not stereo nobsound ?
If both mono then you will only see and be able to use as a 2 channel output. (1 channel per nobsound)

From ebay
Where did you connect the 3.5 jack of your amplifier? In the subwoofer jack of the external sound card or which one?

Gary, small question; what power supply are you using to power the Nobsound? 12V or 24V?
Im using the 24v one and it does make a difference over the 12v
@@garyevanssimracing5922 , I've ordered the 24V power supply, should be here tomorrow, thanks for the advise! Another additional question Gary; you've mentioned to me in another post that you've drilled one bass shaker to your seat and another one on a construction at your pedals. But I was wondering, do you make sure that the bass shakers have full contact with the surface? Or do you use some kind of spacers to avoid this for better results? Looking forward to your answer. Would extremely appreciated to have some detailed pictures of your exact setup if this wouldn't bother you too much.
@@NikiBoy47 I mounted mine directly to my seat as it has a rubber type base. But the pedals shaker is spaced slightly due to how i mounted it on the brackets.

Do you have the Nobsound plugged into your 'line out' from the computer?
If so, where does normal car sound get outputted?
Does the amp need to have a USB Sound card internally to work? I have an old amp at home, but can't seem to get it to work with transducers.
Do you see any benefits of using a 4 channel amp, and having the following?
channel 1: a small transducer attached to the back of the brake pedal for example, and just having ABS and wheel lock up vibrations come through that?
channel 2: I have a sequential shifter and am thinking of mounting a transducer on it to feel the gear shift thuds...
channel 3: One under seat
channel 4: One under pedal tray
Thanks for any insights from your experience :)
The nobsound has its own soundcard, and plugs in via usb so its seperate. So it does not affect your car sounds /audio. I Would recommend 2 of these amps if you wish to put 4 transducers in, and what you suggested in terms of mounting 4.. I would say that will work very well, and considered a puck type shaker under my shifter aswell😃👍🏻
