Excellent content sir. But if I select it on 2160p in stead of Auto then Netflix Dolby Vision contents playing only in 4K, no Dolby Vision logo coming automatically, also in picture settings there is no Dolby vision option. Same problem in Hotstar & Apple TV dolby vision contents. But dolby vision coming when selected to Auto, but picture resolution becomes only 1080 p. I am using Oneplus Q1 which supports Dolby Vision +Atmos.

Hi Brother... First of all your Sony X8500F will not decode the atmos signal of its own when you playback atmos encoded content from Netflix, Prime video etc. Secondly your Sony ST5000 sound bar is meant for virtual atmos experience if it's support dolby atmos signal. It will never give you that precise feel of atmos sound coz atmos speakers actually used to be mounted on ceiling. If your soundbar supports dolby atmos signal and can decode the same, use HDMI ARC input connection on TV via HDMI Cable with your soundbar. Mind you that Netflix or Prime Video do support HDR10, Dolby Vision, dolby digital plus, DTS etc. But Atmos content is very less on these platform. I personally haven't experience that on netflix or prime video. So if you have atmos content, you can play through it from your TV and route the audio signal via HDMI ARC port to you soundbar to get the atmos signal decoded. Tweak some settings on your TV for HDMI ARC audio routing. Since you will feel it virtually which is not that convincing comparing to physical speaker mounted on certain points as per standards. Hi brother.. People misleading dont get worried. Its all about HDR, DOLBY VISION Compatibility. If your TV support HDR 10 and Dolby Vision then you will not face any problem. If your TV doesnt support HDR, DOLBY VISION then switch off that mode from Fire stick and select normal SDR signal for your TV. No cokor dullness or blackness.. I hope you got the answer.. Thanks

Firetv 4k box comes with a HDMI extender. FireTV is connected to the 4K tv using this extender. Just checking if the extender supports 4K. as i have the same issue with RUclips not playing 4K video.
Hi brother.. HDMI Extender has nothing to do with the resolution. Some settings on TV and on Fire stick required. Good internet bandwidth is also required.
I use cloudwalker 4k tv, also I have 4k fire stick, my internet speed is 50 kbps, while I set the content to 4k resolution it says your TV does not support HDCP 2.2. And in 4k tv i am only be able to play only 1080 content
Hi brother.. Check your TV manual to confirm whether your TV is HDCP 2.2 compatible or not.becoz if you want to watch any 4k content HDCP 2.2 is needed.

I noticed my firestick doesn't play UHD Dolby Vision content on Netflix. When changed to Auto then it plays dolby Vision at 1080p. My TV supports 4k @ 60hz with hdcp 2.2 on all HDMI ports. I have 125mbps Internet.
What could be the issue?
Hi brother.. Hope you are using 4k Fire stick and followed the steps which I described in the video to playback 4k i.e. 2160p video resolution on your TV. Set your video resolution 2160p 60hz, then color depth select 10bit, then check the dynamic range tab, select always HDR. Now restart your fire stick. Check the content you playback on your firestick whether it's supports HDR or Dolby Vision like in your Netflix or in prime video or any streaming app. When you hover on movie poster with your remote it shows the audio-video specification about the content you are about to play on top. In my case whenever I played such content with particular settings, my TV automatically detect the HDR 10 or dolby vision signal and flash for second to inform that content is HDR or Dolby vision compatible. So just check this out and let me know if still problem persist. Thanks

@@AVMAXAMAZE Yes, it shows dolby vision but not UHD or 4k when display setting on firestick set to Auto. When played it plays at 1080p with Dolby vision. But when changed resolution to 2160p in settings. It then shows Movie let just say The Old guard as UHD but doesn't play with dolby vision enable.. I do have 4k firestick, color set to Auto and Netflix play is premium 4k.
Can u check from yourside by keeping resolution setting to 2160p and play dolby vision 4k movie and check if you can see Dolby vision logo at right topside at the start of Movie. And also check TV picture settings whether it changed to dolby Vision. If it isn't show any of the above then the DV is not enabled. And the Movie is playing Normal or HDR by default instead of DV..

Hi brother.. Go data monitoring setting of your firestick, just set your video quality to best. Then go to display sound settings, set resolution to 2160p 60hz. Close all background application which are currently running in background. Restart your firrstick. Hope you are having good bandwidth i.e. 50-69 mbps. Aso make sure your tv settings are ok too. Is your TV 4k tv? In that case what I suggest the settings just do it in your firestick. Restart your firestick. Launch youtube and try to play 4k content and check in youtube settings to confirm whether its playing on 2160p reaolution. If its showing ao. Then your firestick settings are updated and will play automatically on Netflix, prime video whenever 2160p content is available. But you have to make sure that your bandwidth / internet speed is around 50-60 mbps.. Hope this will solve the problem. Thanks

Hi there.. Sure will help you out.. There is a Data monitoring Tab in setting of Fire stick, turn this thing on and select BEST. Sexcond one is, go to display and aiunde setting select video resolution to 2160p 60 hz and restart. Hope you have good 50-60 mbps plan and also having constant internet speed. @@AVMAXAMAZE thanks for replying sir I have 100 mbps connection and my wifi is just one room away from tv. I have tried data monitoring settings before but nothing works. Earlier my samsung tv used to upscale any full hd content to 4k without issue's and colours were richer but when I play any content on firestick colours are dim and 1080p content just doens't look watchable.

@@AVMAXAMAZE no but it had inbuilt upscaling which turned 1080,p to 4k like but firestick doesn't allow it or something .I have placed for replacement for firestick as the technician told me it might be a faulty device

Kyonki aapka display to 4K hai but aapka source full hd hai. toh sorry actual 4K content nahi dekh payenge. AApka 4K Tv full hd signal ko upscale toh karega hi but woh actual 4K nahi hoga kyonki aapka youtube ya netflix ya prime toh full hd content play kar raha hai aur fire stick 1080p signal hi TV ko bhej raha hai. Hi there, I hooe you have latest updates install on your fire stick. Check your tv setting also not to be set on full hd by chance. Next is your bandwidth, if you have good broadband upto 50-60 mbps then no issues. Check your youtube app once also whether its playing 4k content or nor. Try once with connecting your firestick directly to your TV, if its showing 2160p then your denon av receiver need some setting to be changed. I have marantz av receiver and I have directly plugged into one of its hdmi port. I have no issues. Pls try to update your firestick manually also. If its work pls tell me if its not then also let me.. Will definitely help you out. Thanks for asking

I have changed AVR setting under Video-output i/p scaler and set resolution to 4K with progressive mode set to auto And now I can watch UHD content on prime/Netflix flawlessly but not on youtube, Today I have repeat the same procedure 4K started on RUclips as well 😊😃

Hi Brother.. will definitely help you. Hope you are using 4k TV and fire stick. First of all pls update your fire stick manually. Hope you have done that setting which I explained in the video. I would like to tell you that internet bandwidth also play major role in playing 4K video, if it's fluctuating and speed is slow it will not play 4K. It will affect your playback. Hi brother.. HDCP yani ke high bandwidth content protection. Jo ki use hota hai HDMI ke saath aur pichle 10 saalon se use ho raha hai. HDCP 2.2 latest hai. Yeh piracy ko rokne ke majorly use hota hai. Aajkal sabhi device jaise TV, fire stick, media player, bluray player, MI box jaisi devices mein inbuilt aane laga hai. Agar TV aur firrstick HDCP2.2 support karte hai toh koi bhi copyrighted content chahe full hd ho ya 4k easily chalega. Agar TV HDMI HDCP 2.2 support nahi karta toh copy protected content nahi delh payenge. Toh yahi hai HDCP ka funda. Thanks

Hi brother.. Which TV you have? Go to settings and switch off the HDR settings. Then watch 4K content. If your TV is capable of converting HDR to SDR then it will run the 4K HDR content without HDR. Thanks

Jis port par HDCP 2.2 hai wahan apna firestick connect kijeye aur phir try kijiye. Agar HDMI port HDCP 2.2 compatible nahi hai toh aap 4K Content nahi dekh payenge. Kyonki 4K Ultra HD firestick, 4K Ultra HD streaming player, 4K Ultra HD Bluray player jo hote hai, woh sab 4K HDCP 2.2 support ke saath aate hai. RUclips mein yeh issue nahi aata hai. Yeh HDCP 2.2 apke hdmi port par hona chahiye taki jo bhi 4K streaning app hai jaise prime video, Netflix, hotstar etc easily dekh paye. HDCP 2.2 ko isliye design kiya gaya aur isliye bhi jaruri hai taki koi piracy na kar sake aur na hi pirated content dekh sake. Yeh ek tarah ka signal hai jo apka firestick send karta hai apke TV ko jab specially 4K content chalate hai tab apka tv HDCP 2.2 ke jariye hi isse accept karta hai. Jitna bhi 4K content design kiya jaata hai usme yeh coding ki jaati hai taki iska koi misuse n kar sake. Full HD mein kabhi problem nahi aayegi apko. Yeh surf 4 K content ka standard hai.. Hi brother.. First make sure ke aapne apna fire stick update kar liya hai.. Baki settings bhi jaise maine apko is video mein bataya hai waise hi update kar lo.. RUclips par bhi just check ke jo content dekh raho ho who 4K content ho tabhi 2160p video resolution ya option dikhayega.. Aur ek cheez apne mobile par bhi check karo ke youtube par full hd ya 4K quality ka option dikha raha hai.. Kyonki pichle kuch mahino se RUclips ne apna resolution 480p par set kar diya tha extensive use ko lekar, jisme firestick, mobile phone app, chromecast ki youtube application sirf 480p ya maximum full hd tak resolution hi dikha raha tha.. Toh aap ek baar apna firestick upgrade kare jo bhi latest software upgrade aaya hua hai use se. Manually bhi upgrade kar sakte hai. Phir try karke dekhiye aur 4K content hi chalaye aur resolution check karke dekhe.. Phir mujhe bataye.. Thanks

What do I do if I don’t have a HDCP 2.2 input
Hi there.. You cannot watch 4k content if your TV dont have HDCP 2.2. HDCP 2.2 is must if you want to watch 4k content thru 4k bluray disc or ripped movies. These media needs 4K HDCP2.2 compatible 4k bluray player and 4k HDCP 2.2 compatible TVs. HDCP means High Bandwidth Digital Content Protection that protects digital copyrighted content from duplication and piracy. So, 4k content is downsized to low resolution and less bit rate if you still need to watch 4k content. Dolby atmos, DTS X and other high end codecs will not be supported by your tv in that case.

I am getting 720p at max in Full HD firestick.

Hope you have updated to the latest firmware. Go to data monitor tab and check select best video. Then go to display sound tab and select 1080p resolution. Switch off the firestick and switch back on. Broadband fluctuations also matter. Pls do this and let me know bro.. Thanks

Hi there, thanks for asking. I want to tell you that pls first check whether your fire stick has latest update. I hope you are using 4K Fire Stick and 4K Ultra HD TV. Try to update manually if it doesn't asked to do so. After update pls switch off the fire stick and your 4K TV for few seconds and switch back on. Check on your Data Monitoring setting and opt for Best video quality. Also set your video quality to 2160p ( in display and sound tab). Now check whether your TV resolution is not set to Full HD 1080P. Change to 4K or 2160p. Please follow said steps and let me know. If your problem still persists will surely give you solution my friend. Thanks once again.

HDCP 2.2 is something which is there in 4K TV , AV receiver etc. If your TV doesnt have this check your TV manual first whether your TV is HDCP compatible or not. Thanks
