After all, if a person needs instructions, they need more detail than words like “After pairing your remote” …. Your video clued me in that I was getting the wrong screen (a screen in various languages saying looking for remote) and helped me realize I needed to somehow get to that’s language selection screen you showed! I resorted to taking a photo of the English screen as it flashed by me, and read that pressing the Remote for 10 seconds might save the day! Doing that also helped me realize my remote wasn’t even working, for whatever reason. I put in my own batteries and saw for the first time a flashing light on my remote! These are things a non-tech should be alerted to in the booklet! Thanks again.

If you deregister your firestick and give it to a family member when they register it. if you wanted to leave the apps on there for them will they lose all of the apps that were loaded on there when it was registered to me or will the firestick apps have to be side loaded all over again when they register it with their Amazon account?

This solution is specific to Android devices. If you have set up a PIN or password on your device, it may solve the problem. However, I realize that some Android devices, such as streaming boxes and sticks, may not have a PIN or password set. I have brought this issue to the attention of the developers and am currently waiting for their response.
Been trying for over an hour to uninstall your ESPN and it won't leave. I thought it would be an unlocked ESPN but it's the same as the regular app and needs log in info. I've been trying to remove it and see if something else works but this app won't leave.
If an app won't uninstall, restart your Firestick, then try again. ESPN will always require a login. Please look at alternative apps instead that provide the same content. You can find recommendations on my website, linked in the description above.
