This song should have at least 5 + mil views, and Philip should be as popular as John Mayer....
Absolutely agree
I met Philip in Waterloo Ont. a couple of years ago. I had not heard of him until that show . he is incredible live . and the most humble ,polite player I have met in years. all the best to this great talent.
I cannot stop listening to you, Philip. Absolutely masterful!
I've always thought that the lyrics would hold true today ... even though the song was penned in 1971! This cover can be considered as another tribute to the Late, Great Alvin Lee!
I also believe that Philip Sayce is a master player with a long career ahead of him!
One of the best covers of any song I have ever heard! My God I am blown away.
🎸 I love to see this dude play. I have been a big fan of him for 3 years and he always inspire me to play the guitar. He is one of the best guitarist on this plant so far. 🎸
Would that be a pot plant ? Lol.
This makes Dimebag relevant all over again.
I liked that comment, and I agree. :)
forgive me for not understanding, but what do you mean ? :)
BiteThePillowImGoingDry
I guess you could say the same about Stevie Ray Vaughan. Stevie, Dime and Sayce all speak the same dialect. Why Dime? Go listen to all the solos from Vulgar Display and Far Beyond. Then you'll understand. :) Dime was far beyond a metal player. Stevie lived in blues, but played into eternity.
If you think for a second this guy couldn’t pick up and change styles playing like that you’re not worth calling an idiot I guess
My absolute favorite artist on this planet, in this era, til the day I die.
PERIOD!
Philip rockssss...whoaaaaa.
...Alvin is lookin' down smiling ! EXCELLENT !!
What a excellent cover to ten years after and the great Alvin lee . Well done Philip ordered your new disc today.
@@davewylie654 He sang the exact same lyrics as Alvin Lee??
2:08 Holy MOTHER OF JOSEPH O_O

One of the most talented folks i have ever seen. Why is he not famous? Amazing guitar player, great voice, overall not a better stage presence. I would be his guitar tech , you rock Phillip...

Very awesome song & this needs a billion views for sure!
Wooooooow !!! I'm speechless...
Wow!!! My favorite band of the 70s was TYA, and the album "A Space In Time" was in the beginning not so well received. But that has now changed to happiness and Philip does a damn good job with the cover of "I'd Love To Change The World". Great Version!!!
So damn good.
I discovered this on Galaxy Rock.
I'm stoked to see you play this live.
Wow..brilliant & beautiful song.....classic.
Wow. A fabulous cover. He definitely made it his own rendition but keeps the feel and essence of this great tune.
He is really a good guitarist
Philip has fire in his playing ... he belongs with the greats! He's one of the very few that sings as good as he plays!

I have to see him live! I will admit I was not hip to him until he played with Melissa Etheridge but I've been a fan ever since then. #PhilipSayce
Me too
I've seen him live 2x - you will NOT be disappointed! :)
Gary Cain I hope he tours with this new album!
He's announced a few Canadian dates, which is in my neck of the woods, so I'll be checking him out in Toronto / Barrie. The Europeans have had him to themselves for too long! ;)
Gary Cain They really have. America would like some time with him too! 😁
That guitar is starting to look like Rory's fabled axe.

просто Браво!!!
Freaking fucking ahwwwwsome kicks & licks ^5
Can't say the original lyrics? It's still played on the radio with the original lyrics, so why not?
Anyway, I just started listening to Philip Sayce, who is a supremely talented guitarist, and I love everything I've heard so far. (Until this). In my opinion, (which is worth what you paid for it!), this arrangement takes the magic out of the original song. The ethereal, lilting, almost apocalyptic ebb and flow of the original has been obscured by the obvious effort that was made to "update" the song, or put a different interpretation on it. The guitar in the original cries like emotion itself, alternately twirls like a dead leaf on a cold gust of wind blowing through a lonely street, then shreds in angst, like the angry surface of the sun. This arrangement forsook much of this yin-yang contrast and subtlety, and the result is a composition that is "less" than it "was".
-Old man yelling at the clouds
I like it!!! \m/
Sorry... Philip Is a great guitar man, but the original Is better...
Great cover! I hope Jessica gets this share

Why is this song not on Spotify?
An Alvin Lee classic
Fucking amazing. This is one of very few covers where they take the original to new heights. An originals an original but this is fucking heavy. Another cover i think is comparable if not better than the original is James Maynard-Keenurs Cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man"
Keenan, Maynard James... sir yes sir ! ( :
Your going to top
Sorry I meant you are going to the top of the charts :)
Great song
