(Up to 24k subs and climbing) I'm so glad to see you growing with all the hard work you put into making this channel so great to enjoy !!!!!!
Thanks. I appreciate the comment. Makes it worthwhile!
Nice overnighter, food looked good
Thanks!
What a lovely man, great videos, much enjoyed. Bless you Kevin.
Nice choice on the miso soup!
Thanks!
Another great trip, Kevin. Glad you didn't have a run-in with that bear. PHEW!
I get exited when I see the notification for your new video :) Thank you for bringing us this one!
Editing another right now. Thanks I appreciate it!
Got me excited for some cold weather camping. Stove looks neat. Nice vid
I am liking the stove more and more. Nice low impact scout fire which is larger than a hobo stove. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video my friend.
Thanks brother!
Thanks for sharing and bringing us along. Looked like a peaceful time . God bless !
Thanks for the positive comment and watching!
Appreciate your time and effort to take us on these adventures, and the applied low to high tech gear reviews too.
Thanks!
I don't know what it is, but I love watching wood be processed then building a fire, cooking and eating.
So relaxing and much needed video to watch. Thank you Brother 👍🏻👍🏻 John
Thanks!
Good job Kevin. Thanks for sharing brother.
Thanks!
Another enjoyable video Walker 👍. I’m looking forward to seeing you back out hot tenting. I must have watch all the old ones 3 times each haha. Yeah the UCO stove did brilliant 👍. You’ll have to post your Facebook up so we can follow 👍. Cheers, Ant
Nice video and area. Good camp. Thanks and take care.
I think the word you were searching for is "snuffed" out when starting the fire 😁 When I saw you pour in that rice I was surprised as I know you usually go high-fat / low carb for the camp meals. I didn't know there was such a thing as cauliflower rice. Anyway thanks for another entertaining episode!
Kevin nice job as always . thanks
Cool overnight adventure. I haven't tried my UCO yet for having a campfire in. Glad to see it held up well for you. Wish I would have bought the NAA .22 magnum instead of the .22 LR that I got quite a few years back. I think mine would just piss off a bear or anyone else.. Looking forward to your Hot Tenting videos.
Great video man. Have an awesome Sunday, Andreas 🇸🇪
Thanks!
Come on cold weather! This was a taste. Another good one, Kevin.
Can't wait! Thanks for watching!
thanks for eating healthly keep the vids coming
Thanks!
Not all of that is healthy.
Nicely done Walker. We have our first “cold front” for SE Texas its supposed to get down to the low 60’s. I’ll have to have me a camp fire 🔥. 👍
Hope you made it out! Thanks for watching!
Love your videos Walker! I ended up getting the bigger flatpack grill for motorcycle camping, glad of it I believe the mini would have been too small for me
I think you made the right pick.
Beautiful fire...I really like that fire pan
Thanks!
The more I see you using that grill, the more I want one. My lixada stick stove has just bit the dust, so good opportunity to get one :) Thanks for all your great vids
Good stuff, always enjoy your videos
Thanks!
That little light looks interesting
Will do a review soon. I tested it as a headlamp and chest rig but need to start shooting the video etc etc.
Nice place walker hey that 22mag should be an ear splitter on a bear chased one off 10 yrs ago with a snubnose 22 mag I had. nice little fire
That portable fire pit really came in handy, the thing is really awesome. I love Portuguese sausages. The two thumbs down, were probably eating Tofurkey sausages
LOL! I am really liking it.
Great video!
Thanks!
Good job!
Thanks!
Amezing good 👍 lov camping From indonesia🇲🇨
Thanks for watching!
Second... 😜🔥 good job kevin another great trip.
Thanks brother!
Miss ya man
Love me a North American Arms, got the Snake slayer myself!
Well made little guns. Thanks for watching!
@@MegaWoodswalker I got a Black Widow, not snake slayer....Got confused with my Bond Arms, talking faster than thinking......
Thanks foe inspiring video! Is it a Hennessy hammock you got? If so, what kind? Looks great with that secret pocket for stuffing the pad, don’t think mine got that.
hennessyhammock.com/products/jungle-explorer-zip It seems really good. So far liking it better than my regular explorer DLX however that's got well over a decade of use so it's too soon to know. Maybe in the spring will do a video comparison between the side zip and standard Velcro.
Do you ever feel uneasy in the woods alone? I have not tried camping by myself yet. Great video I see you are using your blowing tube. I just got one.
Anyone who claims they never once felt uneasy sleeping alone in the woods is either lying to you or themselves IMHO. Given the right set of circumstances it's very possible. Thanks for watching!
I had to take a shot at a coyote the other night. Bugger just kept coming towards me, despite me making it clear I was there. Never seen one show no fear before, especially when all by themselves.
Just a good reminder that it's always better to be prepared and not need, than need and not be prepared.
Sweet vid
Thanks!
i must tell you about the becket hitch, you can leave all that metal gear for your hammock behind and lighten your load out.
Can it pull tension. I use a friction knot for my tarp. Will check out that knot. Thanks for watching!
The Beckett hitch is easily adjustable just pull it and adjust and rest it ... its all i use now and it is great bit make sure you do it right... i have amsteel loops at the ends of my hammocks , then i use a simple tree strap like webbing from an outdoor store ... the Beckett hitch works well for these types of cordage and straps
Good o' FerroBic!
LOL Thanks for watching!
I’ve heard that those giant boulders were left behind by glaciers.
True. That's a glacial erratic
As a letter carrier I always carried that spray for dogs. Unfortunately, It is a stream and not a powerful mist. If that is dog spray you would have little chance of turning a bear around. Bear spray is purchased in a much larger container and shoots a powerful blast/mist up to 30 feet away. You can't miss like with the single stream dog spray. I believe bear spray is also a much stronger mix of pepper. I'd much rather see you carry real bear spray!
Serious question what is your setup for taking a dump In the woods if you have any
TP, hand sanitizer and a plastic trowel. Thanks for watching.
Hey walker no cigar or Bigfoot noise is this time referring back to your other video Hobo's in Bigfoot lmao
4:03 .. ha.. what do I spot there? I have the same.. but less long .lr I have.. yours seems longer.. like magnum or what. Very funny to shoot.
What are ur thoughts of the car reflector
Seems to work well within reasonable limitations. The primary downside is the bulk.
I am looking into that hammock. Worth it?
IMO totally worth it. I have no problems recommending Hennessy Hammocks. I bought several. Also have the bottom entry Velcro Explorer DLX. Well over a decade of use and it's still good. This one is newer and really liking it.
No breakfast? 😧
True. Thanks for watching!
Any warpage in the uco? Does it seem like it will hold up to that size campfire over the longer run? Cheers.
Seems ok so far. Maybe some slight warping but nothing harmful. I will know more as time goes on.
I thought bears were kind shy around humans....seems your taking allot of precautions have there been bear attacks in your area?
Fire cooked food has its own unique flavor!
Another short trip recorded for posterity.
The stove seems to be a hit,but the price is a little much
I paid 40 shipped on Amazon. Really liking it so far. Thanks for watching!
Did you hang your backpack in a tree ?
I hanged the food etc etc but not the pack itself. Thanks for watching!
Hey woodswalker...... you should not be allowed to defend yourself..... the bears need feeding..... OH sorry I forgot I am Canadian EH
😂 Thanks for watching!
snuff out 8-)
