    Also, forgot to mention explicitly, but the reason our Tenno causes Kuva to dissipate is due to it essentially being diluted Oro, so it is nullified when coming into contact with ours.

    After just watching your Orokin Empire vid and this, i have a possible theory in warframe that i find just so peculiar that there has to be some connection here. Our original adoptive mother, Margulis. She loved us like no other. Even through the bouts of rage with exploding void energy slowly crippling her, she saw a light in us that the Orokin refused to see. Unlike kuva which is used to assimilate the host to the original user, rendering whatever person the host was, null and empty, giving the user free control, Oro is basically a photograph of the person. An imprint of everything they are. Like real life photographs, a third party viewing it can get an idea, the emotion and context of what they are viewing, however they will never be able to experience it themselves as it is not them. Now... if i remember correctly, unless the Oro of something is absorbed by another, that specific Oro can live on, floating in the void, waiting for a new "body" to occupy.
    This brings me to the Sentients. The Sentients were able to fashion themselves something similar to Oro, but quite like Oro. Just a simple replica. What i find curious is that of all the Sentients, only one of them was drastically different then than the rest: Natah, our next adoptive and beloved space mom, the Lotus. We are told so far that Lotus defected after traveling through the void, and coming out the other side sterile. Unable to have children, she grew feelings for the Tenno, claimed them as her own, and betrayed the Sentient.
    It seems kind of out of place for the daughter of, what is clearly either the leader, or at least a very powerful commander of the Sentient to be born with such a defect. While i don't claim i know how Sentients are born, we do know that they were originally machines built to constantly evolve against the harsh climate the Orokin sent them to, using the void as type of portal. This evolution caused them to eventually gain sentience, hence the named Sentient. This in mind, i would assume the "birthing" of a new sentient does involve some kind choice in their construction, like lets say we will make more canon fodder minions or specialized builders.
    So... my theory is this. When the large portion of Sentients traveled through the void, which includes Natah, the Oro once formerly belonging to Margulis, latched on or transfered into the Natah for reasons unexplained. Again, because Oro is more like a photograph, the Oro didn't take over Natah and transfer consciousness, it instead gave Natah memories. Memories Natah was unable to discern between what was really her own, and what was Margulis. When Natah was given the mission to "trick" the Tenno into trusting her, Natah started feeling emotions for them. The imprints left behind of Margulis began to affect Natah. The same motherly feels Margulis had, Natah started to share, and slowly the two identities fused as one being. Margulis is Natah, and Natah is Margulis, and donned the name Lotus. Fueled by her desires to let her children finally live a normal life they deserved for so long, she followed the Sentients command to first free the Tenno from Orokin, then used her children to free herself from the Sentients. With both sides destroyed, her children could finally rest, with mother guiding us, and the galaxy left to solve itself, we would only be wakened when our time came.
    It probably isn't the best theory, but i always found it strange that out of the blue, what was supposed to be our enemy, filled the place of our adoptive mother Margulis for really no reason than becoming sterile and unable to produce children. There had to be another reason, something had to have happened in the void.

    • @koenkohrt1531

      There is a problem: People with Oro are immortal. If Margulis had oro, she couldn't have been executed.

    • @Sorain1
      @Sorain1 4 года назад +1

      Unless 'The Jade Light' that was used to execute her banishes the Oro into the Void. Thus making it a defacto method of death, since an Oro couldn't be found and retrieved so far as the Orokin knew.

    • @ayushdeshmukh284
      @ayushdeshmukh284 4 года назад +1

      @@RandemFellow Not a problem with this guy's theory. In his theory, the oro is an image of the original, so even though the person seems to live on, it's actually a copy of that person who lives on.
      The actual problem with this theory, although it doesn't change much, is that all sentients become sterile after passing through the void, not just Natah.

      When your operator dies, they don't "die" persay, they hit 2hp and return. This is them returning as fast as possible to the orbiter by any means necessary and regaining health there. May have something to do with the Oro though. Also, what on earth and the kuva fortress is Transference Static and why does it exist?

      Also, the transference static could simulate us "dying" in combat, we take a break, but the consequences of being badly injured are still there until we recover completely, it debuffs you and your warframe in hp and I think other things (you lose the operator´s energy and warframe shields)

    • @PrincessCeline

      You see the operator sleeping cause transference itself is a Lucid Dream. And Tenno can do a special type of transference where they make projections of themselves on the battlefield. When that projection/vessel "dies," all that's left is the dream, until the operator makes a new projection to continue the mission.

    The only practical conclusion I could draw from this hypothesis is that the Stalker cannot kill Tenno because it does not possess Oro and has to harvest kuva to stay alive instead. Merely speculation but, perhaps, its attempted assassination of the Operator was out of desperation after the Hunhow has promised it means to extract the Oro.
    It also supports the theory on the true nature of specters.

      well, i have one theory. The machine is meant to extract kuva, and kuva only, which is basically a diluted form of Oro. When we intercept the kuva cloud, we absorb it, causing the connection to switch from the kuva, to us, and our pure Oro overloads the machine, destroying a braid.

    Captain Vor, the corrupted one you fight in the Void. He's got a similar glowing orb in his chest that could be his Oro. I'm guessing his weird Janus Void Key did something to the Grineer leader that made this possible, or maybe he just had enough void energy channeled through him via the key that he GAINED an Oro.
    Just a thought.

      Look at them, they come to this place when they know they are not pure.
      Tenno use the keys, but they are mere trespassers. Only I, Vor, know the true power of the Void.
      I was cut in half, destroyed, but through its Janus Key, the Void called to me. It brought me here and here I was reborn.
      We cannot blame these creatures, they are being led by a false prophet, an imposter who knows not the secrets of the Void.
      Behold the Tenno, come to scavenge and desecrate this sacred realm.
      My brothers, did I not tell of this day? Did I not prophesize this moment?
      Now, I will stop them. Now I am changed, reborn through the energy of the Janus Key. Forever bound to the Void.
      Let it be known, if the Tenno want true salvation, they will lay down their arms, and wait for the baptism of my Janus key.
      It is time. I will teach these trespassers the redemptive power of my Janus key. They will learn its simple truth.
      The Tenno are lost, and they will resist. But I, Vor, will cleanse this place of their impurity.
      I should sleep...

The chaos (void) and how an advanced race (orokin) had to deal with it and how the people of the current universe have to deal with it. Also includes time travel transference. Crazy stuff.

    I have a theory, what if the Oro is not so much a soul itself, but an interface for a soul to control what the Oro is within, akin to a memory card? And transference is what allows the Tenno to transfer their soul to and from their body and a Warframe, and use the Warframe as a conduit to move their physical body outside the orbiter or the capsule in the reservoir. The synaptic link would be a process involved in how transference is established, by allowing the Tenno to control the brain or Oro of a Warframe, Sentient or similar biotechnology (like Golden Maw) as if it was its own body, because it effectively would be. This would make removing an Oro from a Warframe or Sentient necessary to prevent it from coming back to life, provided its body is intact or capable of regeneration, because without the body containing the Oro, the Oro would be the whole of the "body". It's possible that the Neural Sentry interface implants an Oro into its host. This leads to another detail: immortality through the Oro, because it could also serve as a means of regulating and perpetuating the biological functions of the host, possibly rebuilding telomeres in a Warframe, allowing it to rebuild it's genome rapidly if it would be killed, maybe this is limited in the short-term, so a Warframe can only use this effect so many times before it would require more time than available to regrow the necessary genetic material to reanimate itself. This raises a question: if my theory holds water, what happens to the Warframes when their operator dies, like for good? Or what if the Operator is an Oro inside their own body, keeping it alive using void energy, akin to installing a backup in their own body to centre their own transference network?

    I want to talk about Oro. Spoilers.
    In the new war, during the handshake scene, I really think we see how the tenno got their Oro. The visions of our operator dying felt like that was our Oro at work. I think whenever we should die, but don't die, that death is sent to a different timeline in order for us to survive.
    If we try to apply Eternalism to Oro's gift of immortality, I think the operators we've known for years are actually dead&void and represent death while the drifter version is the half that is still alive and still aging. We can't have one without the other at this point though because of this deal we made.
    I think the operators are dead but alive, while the drifter is alive but dead. And both versions are just as real as the other.
    I think wally legit stole our life, keeps it stuck in the void, and eternally created a legit void demon version of us who cannot die because we're already dead.
    Also, since mother on Deimos thinks Albrecht is still alive down there in the ruins. If we ever do see him, I'd be really curious to see whether he's infested or not. If he's immune to the infestation, like the tenno, I would assume he has Oro and is similarly half-dead, half-alive. I would also assume he wouldn't look as old as we might think for a grandfather to look.
    Maybe I'm totally wrong. If i'm wrong though I desperately need some explanations for the new war lore.

      I think you're right. Minus the Void Demon part.
      We're called demons by the Orokin because we're something that defies the laws of reality.
      If they were to kill us (which they won't as I am sure that they still don't have any means to harm Oro back then) they're probably either Shun us even more (which is the more likely thing to happen) because we're a dirt to their own image of immortality with powers beyond Godlike in comparison to their tech sorcery, or the Orokin as a species would Revere us as young Gods.
      Or both. Dividing the Orokin species as a whole.
      Yes, we are Dead but alive, but never possessed. Just given or changed our Oro to be connected to the Void. Losing our "Light" our connection to reality.
      Why did I proclaim that? Well, it's because if we needed to have our Oro be "Taken", then the Drifter would also be Dead but Alive. But all that it has done is to just merge all of the timelines together in order to give the Operator two forms. Their older and younger selves.
      Which means we're not dead, but more like we have our Oro be able to directly connected from the Void itself and not connected to Reality.

      @@brendanmuller7301 A Tenno can just imagine something and it would just come true. Which is what happened in Duviri. Yes it is just shown while the Drifter or Tenno in the Void. But this is just from reading a book and vaguely imagining it, not forcing it into being.
      No Psyker chants, no rituals, just a kid's imagination.
      The existence of the Man in the Wall, the Void God is just the Void given form by *one of them.*
      While this feat is just in the void (with it being the fourth open world) None, not even the Emperor of Mankind could just snap his fingers and create one single dominating entity with full control of the warp within it's entirety.
      That's beyond want the entire Eldar race could even manage to do.
      These are not just "Unkillable kids with psyker powers", these are *Star Children.*
      And before you can ask, the warp cannot even merge two timelines. Before you can say that the Warp is an 11D Eldritch well of power, it's just a polar opposite of the materium.
      40k is written in a very vague way from a very unreliable narrator, as it would often contradict itself. An example of this is the the genestealer codex contradicting itself in the same page.
      Matter of fact, it would be more believable that the corrupted space marine legions conquering and breaking planets from other realities can just be a very realistic imagination of how they want things to go down conquering the 40k millennium.
      The very best way to find out the truth here is to look for the more consistent codex Lore's.
      Also I know that the Warp is also very consistent on its time traveling shenanigans. But never an in-depth analysis on if the Warp is stuck with the same timeline of the previous, never connecting to the parallel branch of a timeline (because we never get to see other timelines of that Ork Waaagh boss who beat up his past self... Which can be as straightforward as his literal past self and he didn't get to be erased because of the Waagh Ork power. There should have been more different versions of him travelling back at that same point in time. But we didn't get any of that, which makes option 1 the more plausible explanation)
      Or the Warp is a supernatural power connecting to all timelines. Which, again, will not make sense with the orc Waagh boss.

    I am not quite sure I understand the logic behind the Sentients having Oro in this vid, as you explained it, it's just a copy of reality. That...That's kind of...I am not understanding the idea. Are you saying that the Sentients are simply powered by Void Stuff and that's it? It's just, a bunch of stuff from the void? Or are you saying the concept of existence is copied from the void itself and put into the Sentients so that they may exist? Since the very concept of existence is within them.

    • @acedianPianist
      @acedianPianist 7 лет назад

      It's simply a fact, and it was either put into design by the Orokin or adapted by the Sentients on their journey to Tau Ceti. In other words, Oro is either the mechanism of 'the flaw' that their Archimedian creator instilled in them - the one that makes the Void poisonous to them, or it's the source of their sentience and they were never meant to have it.
      The golden sparks that fall to the floor when a Sentient is defeated is that Sentient's Oro, and we can walk over and crush/absorb it. There are meant to be Sentient 'carriers' that attempt to fly in and revitalize the Sentient forces by picking up the fallen fragment's Oro, placing it in other 'dummied' bodies, but these haven't made it into the game yet.
      It's not that the Sentients are powered by 'void stuff', it's that they aren't 'sentient' without it; they functioned just fine, they were living machines that replicated and did their jobs. But they weren't really 'people' or 'creatures' with thoughts until they attained a soul of sorts.

  • @Psycorde
    @Psycorde 7 лет назад

    Do you still think that Sentients are connected to the "Crewman project"? Any thoughts on how their society is structured? What is the role of Sentient fragments, and if they have mind of their own, or if they are just proxies animated and driven by the shards of the Oro of singular father/mother Sentient

    Quick theory, after completing the Chains of Harrow quest, I gleefully returned to my orbiter and awaited my blueprint prize. I sat staring in awe as the ominous music complimented a new warframe. I smiled at the possibilities of this new weapon. Though things took a turn. I exited my codex planning on going into my foundry to see what I needed to make this frame, though instead, as soon as I left the corrupted voice of my Tenno, from the ending of War Within, simply said "Hey Kiddo." Their pinstripe eyes, warped voice, and familiar body sent chills down my spine. This experience brought me back to the War Within quest and made me wonder if our Tenno is still being affected by the queen, or maybe our Tenno is part of the queen. The queen we killed had messed with our Tenno's mind, planted herself in it. Teshin had gotten there in time to help, bless his heart. But as we chose what to do with the Kuva each option shows what has happened to us in the end. We are something else now. Another reason I theorize this is the phrase "kiddo." Apparently, our Tenno's father might have said it, but it could be just a trigger phrase made by the queen, sort of like how the main character worked in Bioshock. It could be a long shot, but think about it. It sorta makes sense.

    This is really late, but I've found a slight flaw in the theory: The Orokin had been using Kuva and Continuity before they discovered the Void. Alberecht Entraiti, the Orokin scientist who discovered the Void, casually stated he'd stop using Continuity after opening the Void.
    Its likely Kuva and Oro are related to metaphysics rooted in the real world. The most immediate comparison I can make is alchemy's philosopher stone. A mystical compound made from sophic mercury, sophic sulphur, and sophic salt (the ingredients needed to make a "complete human"). While it shared the ingredients of a "human" it was not a human, and instead gave whoever consumed it immortality. Its likely Kuva and Oro are similar, taking primordial metaphysical ingredients and using them to amplify the strength of the user's soul, allowing them to survive physical death.

      I'm assuming the Orokin kuva was harvested from the 7 Emperors in the same way it is harvested from our tenno. The orokin most likely knew the void existed, but didn't understand it as they did during the old war. The oro and kuva are very much related to the void, as Teshin calls it the blood of the old orokin.
