Scales very big, and I like how the modules can be removed and the vehicle compressed for a more compact look. The seating and living accommodations for minifigs is also a nice touch. Definitely my favorite of the Space themed Technic sets, but the V tol space ship is looking pretty awesome too.
Makes me want to watch one of my favourite movies again, The Martian. Very cool set. And it's minifigure scale. Actually I think I like this even more than the transport/spaceship.

I wasn't completely certain, though this set is possibly the first set in over 21 years to have the Technic 11M beams in orange, having not been seen since first appearing in the "Nitro Race Team" (8473) from the "Drome Racers" theme from September 2002.
Completely agree. They have severely missed the mark with this one. The scaling is completely off (the living space looks about minifig scale, the cab is at least double that) and the functions are weak. And above all it just looks bad. HARD pass from me.

A few years ago, I began to notice that the sets of Technic are getting worse and worse, and the winter of 2023-24 is no exception. however, I had high hopes for this set, thinking that it would have interesting mechanisms such as a longer wheelbase, maybe more interesting steering or a crane... Oh, no, we'll get a 6-wheeled something with a ton of system parts and hand-activated functions. so I agree with you and excuse me for my English

Is it just me or there were two "dead-bolt" axle connections at 7:40? You know, the type that can't be easily taken apart.

I agree. The vtol is so much better looking. This is just a truck basically. Even the small space vehicle looks more sci-fi than this
