This Twitch Chatter Talked Trash... So I Watched His Replays

- Sometimes, I see someone in twitch chat or the youtube comments backseat criticizing people that are better than them. Whether it be a silver ranked player roasting a diamond, or in this case a master ranked player criticizing a higher ranked MR player, this just seems to always happen. Since I had some time to watch his replays and analyze the matches a little bit, I found that he didn't understand the mistakes in his own game and maybe you guys also can learn a little from this experience.
Street Fighter 6, the next game in the iconic series, will release in 2023! Take part in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with modes from previous games in the series. Two new modes will be available alongside: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the scope of player communication and engagement. Your Moment. Your Fight.

Dude calling the other JP random for pierce into OD pierce and Nephew pulling out the receipts of him doing the exact same thing is gold
But it's ok if he does it remember, they are lower MR than him. The amount of delusions the guy has goes through the roof.
😂😂😂😂
Big fan of the sentence "show me a game where your dog was not annoying you"
That's easy, the games he loses the dog was annoying him. The games he wins the dog wasn't annoying him.
Such a cringe excuse XD
"Bruh yeah I literally won Capcom Cup but the AC was too high and I was shivering. Also I didn't bring my gamer chair and the ones they provided were annoying. In fact, I should've just stood up. I would have... if I had my lucky shoes on." It never ends -
@@solodolo9450 I'm stealing the lucky shoes bit lol

Normally, I'd say "stop he's already dead..." but he brought it upon himself.
Fr can't talk shit unless your like that, or keep yourself at the same standard
Why talk shit?
Let your gameplay and win streak show what’s up.
If you want respect when you're dead, earn that shit while you're alive.
I like how he’s destroying this dude so calmly
Honestly the worst way to be destroyed lmaoo
tbh this can be helpful for that guy he should feel honored
Yeah, nephew was just slowly trying to get the guy to say "it was a mistake", it's hilarious.
@@shadowofthenorthstar989honored destruction 😂
@@ChaoSTrophicS i guess technically he destroyed him and helped him build himself 🤣
the chatter who said "mentally I won evo" made me spit out my drink
"In all ways except physical, I am an evo winner."
@@AnthanKrufixno because that’s literally me, i won evo, i am not delusional
Big Neph said “Usually I’d let you live but I got time today”😂😂
In this guy's mind, it's clearly never his fault whenever he loses.... don't be like this man...smh
But it's not his fault.......it's his dogs fault. Bad dog
I know players who have the opposite mindset and it is also pretty annoying, like... they think no one is better than them, and the only reason they might ever lose is because they messed up something, not because you outplayed them.
@@MrDino023- To be fair, if someone gets outplayed, they did mess something up. The only thing is, in order to not mess up at all, you need to be playing absolutely perfectly, which is nigh impossible to do consistently.
@@MrDino023 Outplaying in fighting games kek
Fighting games when you're playing at a high level don't usually have any way to mechanically outplay someone, everyone should be on a relatively even playing field when it comes to mechanical skill aka inputs broadly speaking. Conditioning isn't what people consider to be outplaying either when using that term, and at a high level the game is about forcing your opponent to make a mistake and to avoid making them yourself, aka conditioning and 'mind games', which is such a broad term that it shouldn't even really be used in this sort of discussion. Mind games can be things such as conditioning, knowledge checks and even intentionally tilting your opponent, talking about mind games is a huge cop out when trying to have any actual dialogue about what makes a player good. Saying AngryBird's got mad mind games tells you nothing because that encompasses so many different skills you have to learn that it's like saying "McGregor has really good offense."
The opposite mindset you're talking about is the proper mindset to have generally speaking, people can and will play better than you, you will have off days, you will bad matches and that's fine too, but if you can't admit that someone is better than you, that you didn't know how to deal with a setup, that you didn't know something was safe on block-- that you made a mistake, that you could have done something differently/better and you instead refuse to learn from the mistakes you make, or are forced to make by your opponent then I'm afraid you're playing the wrong genre of games.
Fighting games are about self improvement, and having the mindset of "I won because I outplayed them" is an incredibly toxic way to think, it causes stagnation. Naturally I'll point out when someone does something smart, clever or unexpected, but I promise you that win or lose, you made mistakes that you can learn from and players who are so focused on their own fragile little egos don't look at a won match and pick apart what they could've done better.
Also related: The reason we're pushing for a FT10 format in tournaments-- And have been for YEARS across multiple fighting games is because the current formats don't give players enough opportunity to learn about their opponent and adapt, when a recognized top 5 player in the scene loses to some nobody I can guarantee you most of the time that wouldn't have been the case if we had the FT10 format, but with such a short, volatile tournament format it's much more likely for something like this to happen.
There's no shame in someone wanting to improve and recognizing they made a mistake, part of recognizing that mistake is learning what situation you were put in that caused you to make the wrong decision and how to better deal with it in the future.
@@ThatPinkOtterThere is no way a FT10 tournament is feasible unless its a very specific very small invitational
The amount of copium he was huffing would put the house from UP to shame
The UP House as a symbol for copium might take the cake
As someone that only plays fighting games to mess around against my buddies and never actually learn how the game works, I can confidently say I would have only made 4 mistakes that game
Meh, I would probably only make 2-3 mistakes.
(Cuz I'd be dead by then, don't have opportunity for a 4th mistake.)
I love how you didn't make it personal, you kept it in the game never insulted him as a person. Really mature and respect to you!
he more than likely does this in other aspects of his life....

You love to see it, please bring more content like this. Humble pie is so fun to watch.😂
I love how even in the actual game Ken legit says Bad Mistake when he completely whiffed a move 😂
Even the game is trolling him
This player is a good example of a LOT of the street fighter subreddit community. Tons of players post vids of a diamond or higher player making poor decisions or getting wrecked, followed by numerous comments from people saying how they do better at their (typically) lower rank. It's like when you hit certain ranks that people expect near perfect play. Even Daigo has been perfected on stage. Unless you're ending in Time Overs, one player at minimum is going to be making mistakes even when two top 8 level players face off. Everyone makes errors. Nice video. It was entertaining.
Yes, I agree that even top players still make mistakes, but it should be less than less skilled players. I mean better players make less mistakes and play more consistently.
@@jkdman2007it’s all relative though. If you put a random master rank player against Daigo they’d look from that gameplay alone like a terrible player that doesn’t know what they’re doing but that doesn’t suddenly mean that’s true. Put that same player against your average plat player and it’s suddenly a very different story
@@_vibe_check_ Right. I understand what you said.
For real, I've seen people commenting on a clip that a Diamond 4 player would not be allowed to make the same mistakes in Bronze-Gold 😭 they are deluded man
we need to stop deifying daigo. it's getting weird.
I have to defend the guy cause I think he's right. He'd be perfect if he didn't make any mistakes. Which makes sense.

some ppl are so cringe and this guy is the perfect example good job neph some players need to be humbled i always get annoyed by ppl calling top players trash and such bc they loose a game or set when you play against ppl of the same level its inevitable
Yes, these players act like they are better than these top players. I have seen so many comments trash talking sf legend like Diago after evo 2023. I bet these players can't even take a round from Diago. 🤣
it's so fuckin annoying how this dude has excuses for EVERYTHING. always has an excuse ready for any possible criticism. the worst kind of person, shit annoys me so much when people act like nothing is ever their fault
@@jkdman2007a round lol ? They'd be lucky to put him under 80% Hp
@@jkdman2007 although i agree with your sentiment i disagree with the ritual dicksucking daigo gets from everyone in the fgc. i hold him personally responsible for making SFV unbearable and unfun because of all the input he gave that made the devs change things. just the general worship of just some dude has always been weird to me. moment 37 is incredible and it inspired a lot of people to make their own evo moments but a lot of people seem to forget he went on to lose that evo. daigo is just a guy, flesh and bone, he makes mistakes and isn't some kind of unkillable god.
i don't think i could take him down but i do think we need to stop with the ritual dicksucking of daigo umehara
""Command grab is not a mistake"? You thought that was a good decision there?" LMAO
Definitely would like to see more of these. WAY too many SF players have huge egos and it turns out they’re just paper tigers. Good to see these dorks knocked down a peg
I usually expect these high mr players to be on the more humbler side but apparently thats not the case
My assumption is these people have no skills in other areas of life so they desperately hold on to their title as fully sick SF player. Probs lack friends to check their insane ego's too. Makes amazing content though please keep doing more neph daddy

@Forward.4 I think it's more that guy projecting his criticism of himself onto higher ranked players. He thinks that if he made less mistakes then he would be a higher rank so how can somehow who makes more mistakes than him be a higher rank? That's his mentality. His understanding of what "mistakes" are is way off tho. Not to mention he also plays JP whose the easiest to climb with
😂 lmao “my dog was playing that set”
More of these Nephew please, was very fun!

Dark Neph calmly humbling trolls arc.... talking about "Today I have time" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The absolute definition of “what are you standing up for!?”
educational trolling is my new favorite genre of nephew video
"I don't make mistakes!"
"don't watch the losing games bro why you watching those bro??"
Even though it's funny to roast it's actually also really important to see this as an example of how you cannot get better if you're unable to understand what a mistake is.
That’s fantastic, nothing like a good humbling. “FIGHT BACK FIGHT BACK”
Lolol...Nephew is so chill, for him to troll a viewer means that they took it too far, and n8mi definitely did.
This reminds me of,
" A bad mechanic blames his tools. "
10:54 Bro that burn was insane! lol
Tbf people say he roasted him and he did but he also gave him the best sf6 advice he's ever gotten
The fact that this guy is a JP player makes it so much better too LOL. Villain energy all the way
I'm well past cringing at most things like this but seeing the guy PRESENT and doing live damage control made my stomach turn
nephew streams are chill and i like he responds to most chat interaction if its targetted for him. unless chat is going off topic lol
It's crazy how you can get to that high of a rank and still think like this
Didn't knew about your lesson playlist ! Nice
This was my first time ever seeing a mirror Jp match and it went exactly how i would have expected
I would love to see a team of platinum/diamonds that think they're master level vs masters OR a team where they're all mixed in and the masters have to guess who's the platinum/diamond player
The same people claim they are in elo hell in other games
I've learned that JP can carry you to 1920 something
Street fighter 6 got people like him thinking he’s good
Dark Neph keeping the community humble
Darksydephil said all pro's are cheating
I could watch videos like this all day!
I absolutely love this video concept
this chatter's mentality is amusing if it's a troll, but kinda sad if it's real (which it seems to be). Either way got humbled so far out of their depth that it was a pure roasting
Damn Nephew the savage.
The most humble Jp player XD
Lol, I can't believe this guy made so many mistakes. I'm a New Challenger, and I would never make these mistakes.
When nephew said there's no way he could lose that round my son said uhoh he's gonna lose daddy ,lol my 9 yr called the match off that one sentence 😆😆

Being humble and completive at the same time is what makes you a better Master player.
Bro was trynna become the next LTG 💀

Yo that was funny as, while also very reasonable - dunno if that's the right word
This just proves that shit talk is a necessity.
i actually really enjoy watching videos when a pro player breaks down what to do vs what not to do in certain situations. i don't care so much for the troll but would be cool to see how a player/character should and shouldn't do in matches
I revisit the lessons playlist a lot it has good stuff in it
That was pure gold.
Dang he trolled you good to make a video about this regardless
I really never thought I'd see the day where someone would hate on neph. Not only is he cracked at the game, hes so relaxed and chill and doesnt gloat about anything. People are weird man 😂
I mean Neph was bashed for character choice in SF5... (not that it's justified, just saying it's nothing new) after all, if ya got haters it means you've made it!
P.S. Also the hate was technically against Noah the Prodigy.
Move over Triple H there's a new Cerebral Assassin and his name is Nephew 😂
“idk imo I won but my dog was annoying me” is so funny on so many levels. Other than the obvious dog excuse I’m rolling at fucking “imo I won” like yeah the receipts say I lost but you know it’s just my opinion that I won.
Also JP (and Marisa tbh) players are the most carried players it’s insane I’ve seen the WILDEST variety in skill at all ranks for them mfs
Dude my dog ate my homework bro and he was barking at me when I lost that game.
Nephew's hotashi arc
This video reminds of CoconutRTS but in Street Fighter and more savage than crazy
Proof that being a scrub is a mentality thing more than a skill thing. This dude is obviously good at street fighter, but if he stopped trying to act like he was better than everyone else and tried learning from the mistakes in his own gameplay he’d be a lot better.
I feel like so calmly and politely shitting on someone is a Sajam thing to do
As someone trash at the game i would only make 2 mistakes. Thats all my opponent needs to put me where i belong.
You gotta hand it to him, he has a 100% winrate if you don't see the games he loses
The sun was in his eyes.
This is a great video Nephew. I was smiling the whole time
this kinda thing always the dream when someone saying stuff like this but I'm so obsessed with him saying "obscure that he makes so many crutial mistakes .... weird is what i meant, but i am an english teacher"
is that a flex? why does he not know the meanings of words he's using if he's an english teacher?? AND the crucial misspelling is OD too there's no way right he was just saying that
This easily could have gone the Mike Ross route.
i know what u mean i remember some guy was telling Mike what to do back when Strive came out and asked the guy to run a set and humiliated him on stream after beating him 🤣
