This father and son from Manitoba, Canada wanted to collect and restore something a little different. They decided to buy a classic D118 Versatile tractor, which was built in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada from 1967 to 1971. Many early Versatile tractors are still in use today, a testament to their quality build and design. The D118 would have cost you $15,500 US dollars in 1970 or about $103,215 US dollars in 2019. Father and Son share their passion for Versatile tractors and the story behind their 1970 D118.

Wagner of Portland, Oregon started producing their 4-wheel drive articulated tractors in 1955. The first Steiger articulated 4-wheel drive tractors started production in 1958. In Essex, England, Earnst Doe and Sons "produced" their articulated 4-wheel drive marriage of two Fordson Major tractors known as the Triple "D" in 1957. There were 2-wheel drive articulated tractors as early as 1915.
The journalists of today, do no investigating into the truth

I'll have to agree, the older tractors had more character.
SAME was the first mass produced with 4WD in 1953!
Nice!!
What about the 8020 John Deere in 1960? Weren't all that many built around 100 I think.
you're right, maybe numbers
> cab was nice i guess
They seem pointless until you're running it 8+ hours a day day in and day out
I believe they also had Ford gasoline engine in them.
The G125 had the Ford gas.
I’ve got a D145. Not original V8, though.
