Usually when you pick up a new CD or record (yes I'm dating myself at 63 yrs old) from an established artist or a brand new artist...there will be 4 or 5 songs on that album that are good enough to be on the radio and the rest are just fillers. Decent songs, but generally not ones that would make it to the radio. Drake and his crew seem to have the magic formula, in my opinion, because every single song I've heard so far, could and should be played on the radio. I love the style of the old country songs. Songs that tell a great story of love and romance or just hangin' out with the guys at the lake. Drake and his crew are just getting started. And I can't wait to see what they come up with after this! Honestly, I haven't been this excited about a new artist in a long time.
You are the first country singer in many years that has my full attention. I am 71 and pretty much quit listening to country music (hated this new generation of singers that are putting rap & pop into a country song). You make me want to hear more! I will be finding a CD - as soon as I find it (not an iTunes person). BTW, I am a diehard Elvis fan and love your dance moves! Keep on singing and writing!

I'm 69 and he broke mine at his ripe old age of 13 - 10 years ago when he started out as a young Elvis tribute artist. Had a good feeling about him then and am sooooo glad he's found his way into country. Love the fact that he writes his own music also - very talented.
