Drake just has this new style, his band with him. it all works with this feel good upbeat music. Every song is good. He just has a voice you want to hear. His personality is so laid back. Watching all his interviews. We want to see the band talking with you about your friendship and how you all make it work.
That would be fun wouldn't it. His band are a huge part of his success,, let's hope THEY and HE never forget how they came to be one of the hottest country groups to hit the airways in quite awhile. I haven't done the research to know just how many of their 'original' songs either Drake or his band members have written but we can bet those fellas have had a hand in how the songs we're hearing,, the finished music was and is in some way, big or small,, influenced by each of them. As we see, this long video doesn’t give him lines to speak, but looking at how articulate he was at speaking at his AGT audition I suspect he would be a natural at acting. His bio says he is a big admirer of fellow Texan George Strait who showed he was a pretty good actor in movies. If film producers cast Drake in a dramatic film I’ll bet he is at least as good as Strait. I hope they cast Drake in a serious dramatic role before long, where it’s not all about honky tonks & drinkin’.
Drake represents what's wrong with the music execs in Nashville...They are afraid of him because he has a Classic Country Sound. He's a lot George Strait, a little Daryle Singeltary and reminds me of an early Dierks Bentley. He has a good personality and stage presence and a pocketful of songs that makes you want to shuffle your feet or slow dance with a pretty girl. I miss that sound on Country Radio. I hear from someone in Nashville he even has a very talented girlfriend. The person didn't tell me who she is, but but he just said, "I like his girlfriend better, I just signed her."

It's been awhile since I've heard great music with some wonderful vocals make me slip off the headphones and listen through my old speaker's and amp again. I love not just listening but also feeling the sound when the volume is turned up. Happily my neighbours aren't close to me. That would be fun wouldn't it. His band are a huge part of his success,, let's hope THEY and HE never forget how they came to be one of the hottest country groups to hit the airways in quite awhile. I haven't done the research to know just how many of their 'original' songs either Drake or his band members have written but we can bet those fellas have had a hand in how the songs we're hearing,, the finished music was and is in some way, big or small,, influenced by each of them. The Rolling Stones have and continue setting the mark (over 6 decades) for how long a group can work through ALL THE STRUGGLES a gathering of human beings can face and remain as they were when they started,, ALL FOR ONE and ONE FOR ALL.

As we see, this long video doesn’t give him lines to speak, but looking at how articulate he was at speaking at his AGT audition I suspect he would be a natural at acting. His bio says he is a big admirer of fellow Texan George Strait who showed he was a pretty good actor in movies. If film producers cast Drake in a dramatic film I’ll bet he is at least as good as Strait. I hope they cast Drake in a serious dramatic role before long, where it’s not all about honky tonks & drinkin’.

Drake represents what's wrong with the music execs in Nashville...They are afraid of him because he has a Classic Country Sound. He's a lot George Strait, a little Daryle Singeltary and reminds me of an early Dierks Bentley. He has a good personality and stage presence and a pocketful of songs that makes you want to shuffle your feet or slow dance with a pretty girl. I miss that sound on Country Radio. I hear from someone in Nashville he even has a very talented girlfriend. The person didn't tell me who she is, but but he just said, "I like his girlfriend better, I just signed her."
Their loss ! I agree with these peeps who say he has a great band with great songs. I can understand what he says and I like the way he says it. Listen to country my whole life as well as other music get nres -rock,classical and jazz. If it was my call I would’ve signed him up a couple years ago! I’m almost 70 so I know talent when I hear it. Hope someone comes knocking at your door real quick . Maybe the Nashville execs don’t know it but the early bird gets the worm.

I am way older than most...won't admit to the number of decades I have lived thru. But mercy be, getting an eyeful of Drake and listening to his music makes me feel I am reliving a younger decade. I greatly appreciate Drake's God-given talent(s). Have decided it is never to late to have one more honey crush.

It's been awhile since I've heard great music with some wonderful vocals make me slip off the headphones and listen through my old speaker's and amp again. I love not just listening but also feeling the sound when the volume is turned up. Happily my neighbours aren't close to me. Thank everyone in this band for a welcome treat looking forward to some wonderful albums in the future.
