Nice little printer, but I prefer the Brother QL 1110NWB thermal 4x6 label printer. Not only is it Wireless N but it supports Bluetooth too along with Ethernet. I print mainly from iPhone for eBay orders and it works a treat with AirPrint when printing 4x6. It also auto cuts for you.

there is a printing setting to get rid of the header and footer you had on the label, maybe that was just for your sample print but thought I would share. Thanks for the video
Yeah the header and the footer should not be there when you go to print a normal label. Those were just there because of the sample label I was using. :) Glad you appreciated the Video!

Do you recommend this for a MacBook Pro ? I’m having troubles finding a label printer because it doesn’t take any usb cord 🤦🏾♀️
this one needs a usb cord so it might not be a good match, if you find a wireless one, let me know!

Does this work if you’re creating a label through the USPS or UPS website?
It should! You may have to adjust some printer settings
No built in cutter sucks, my small Brother can use continuous labels which makes it more adaptable.
Did you have to switch label paper to print the Different labels
Yes, the machine only takes one roll at a time. There are dual roll printers on the market (Dymo makes a couple as well) but they don't accept 4x6 labels. People that need to have multiple sizes simultaneously just buy two or more dedicated label printers. It's quick and easy to swap out rolls on the 4XL, though.

I got one I can't get it to print labels only ABC sample.
What I mean is if I want to reduce the printing size of eBay label for very small packages using the 4x6 label and would cut the printed size according to the package size
Yeah you can definitely print the label smaller by changing the size ratio, might effect the barcode for the mail carrier to scan but I think it would be fine!

-Can we use 4XL to print different label sizes?. I think that the maximum size is 4*6. I have many other sizes as well.
-Is there a Barcode reader which can read a 'Product Barcode' and tells us the information or format. I mean that the business I bought, we have products with labels having barcode at the bottom of the label but no software to print more. So I was thinking to get a reader which can scan one and reproduce the information or format?. Is something like this is possble?
Yes you can print different sizes that are smaller than 4x6! There is not a barcode reader included with the dymo but I'm sure you could get a barcode scanner to read those barcodes and reproduce them with the info it gives you! There might be a app on your phone that helps you with this as well!
Hello Cooper, nice video! I have a system from where I generate my labels into a pdf file. However, when I try to print them with this Dymo thermal printer it does print them in the wrong orientation. For instance, in the pdf file the label starts in the very top-right corner, but in the Dymo printer, it prints in the middle of the label. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.
Did you figure it out? Can you change the orientation in the print settings?
Would this label printer work on a Samsung Chromebook?
Depends on if your chromebook would allow you to download the drivers for the printer, I don't think chromebooks allow this, but I am not for sure.

How easy is it to setup for different platforms and labels. I have the Rollo, I love the printer but the drivers are terrible and it is so complicated to simply change paper or print plain old labels. If only Rollo's people would just make a dam application to set it all up, it would be perfect. I need easy setup and easy platform use.
Drivers are easy to download from the dymo website and the labels are fairly easy to change, just pop in and out, then just got to change to the right printing size on the software side and you are good to go!
I have just bought one and it prints super small it wont fit to size it wont print in landscape what is wrong
You will have to go in the settings and change them up, make sure 4x6 inch label is selected for the format

Trying to make a made in China sticker I can't get it to do anything. Printed one and super super small print made it bigger in press the print button in its that South 6 label with nothing on it
Did you make sure in the printer settings that you selected a 4x6 label format?
Is it Bluetooth? And can you print shipping labels from your phone?
unfortunately not bluetooth, and as far as i know you can't print from your phone
Ok...thank you. I was looking at one on Amazon and it says it have Bluetooth. But for some reason it's the same model number as the one you review.

Can I change the label size on 4x6 label
I'm not sure I understand what you are asking here, but if you are wondering if you can use other sizes on the 4xl, you can use labels that are smaller with it!
It’s amazing. You don’t have to buy ink anymore and neither paper. The machine makes the paper as well. Amazing!
You'll have to replace the paper when the roll runs out.

if I use a usb type c adapter to make the printer plug into my Samsung S9 would I be able to use my phone to print??? cant seem to find a answer anywhere
x2daz I don't think so because you need to download the software for the printer to operate which I don't think can be done or ran on a phone
how much electricity does this pull? and is it cheaper buying the labels than to buy paper and tape? i feel like this is a little more expensive however with the time it saves you it may be worth it.
Power wise one of the accessories on the OG gameboy was a thermal printer so who knows.
the printer draws 90 watts full use. if you printed for 1 hour a day, 365 days a year at $.10 a kwh you would consume a whopping $3.29 annually
Paper and tape costs less, material-wise, but not when you factor in the added time (labor) of cutting out each label and taping to the package with multiple passes. Thermal is far more cost efficient, all things considered.
Hey, just curious....I love my 4XL but the print is getting lighter so I bought the cleaning cards. I've used 3 and it's still printing light! any advice, have you had this problem?? thanks
I have not had that issue so far. My advice would be to try a brand new set of labels that are dymo brand and see if there is a difference. If that doesn't work I would go in and see if I could deep clean it myself since the cleaning cards don't seem to be doing the trick. If that doesn't work I would go ahead and call Dymo directly and see if they could help any further. I hope this issue goes away for you!

how to do you change the label size when using both ebay and amazon?

Yes! I use it for my poshmark labels
what about label sizes if the packege is not that big?
AsloViral Tv What size package? Hopefully the package is big enough to wrap the label around a couple sides, as long as both barcodes are on a single side amd can be scanned it should be okay!

AsloViral Tv Whoever you are shipping with should still accept and ship your item if you paid for it to,be shipped regardless of the date, but this would be worth checking with your carrier :)
how is this with paypal shipping?
Works extremely well with PayPal shipping!
i sont think u can use for international express mail. u have to print 2 pages of regular paper, cut in half and put in clear customs envelope.
Ushould Seewhatikeep yeah that can be a bit tricky. I have not had to do that, but I think you can print the required documents on the labels and just place them in the clear customs envelope without peeling them off, so they just act as a piece of paper

would the 450 model work for ebay and mercarri
Blowing Country I haven't had a chance to work with that model so I'm not sure, you might have to modify the size of the label in your computer manually to make it work
The 450 works fine on eBay, I don't know about mercarri though. Just make sure you have the 450 software so the labels print correctly.
Can you print off eBay app?
Not that I'm aware of. The Dymo Printer must be plugged in via USB.
