Wish I had passionate teacher like him when I was back in high school. more teachers like that !
Very cool to see a Pullmax in High School. High Schools used to have amazing shop classes: auto, machine, wood and welding etc. Most of those shop classes have been eliminated and the high quality, irreplaceable machinery sold off. What a shame. Few young people know much of anything about how to build or repair things they use everyday. Glad to see you passing on useful lifelong skills!
I found your video by searching Pullmax. Fave part is the History of the machine ( what it was used for and how it has been repurposed )
I think it's great that you are encouraging the youth to challenge themselves mechanically and with the additive manufacturing ( programming ). I work in a Machine/Fab shop
in Texas and I assure you that both worlds ( manual / cnc type work ) collide. There is so much you can do with a Pullmax, it's amazing. Just when you think you know it all you
find something new it can do. Good Luck.
Oh thank you. Stay in touch
Mr. G what a beautiful machine.. I'd love to have that one..
