Drawing both dimensioned lines to place the second for the slot command was slick. Quicker than drawing the one and dimensioning the height. Always pick up something even if something small. Great video.
I just watched and was amazed and a really enjoyed your process. Can't wait for my ability to catch up to my desire. How you dissected and very expediently created - was so enjoyable to watch. Any place we can get a printable copy of your drawings so I can refer to the drawing while I work through the tutorial? Answered my own question - I found them on your website - thanks!
Awesome glad this helpful! TooTallToby.com/practice for practice models challenges. Also check out TooTallToby.Thinkific.com - I have some PDF party packs on there that you might enjoy!
I will definitely be doing this! This is amazing for me as im at that ugly in-between stage of Onshape skills. I have basic stuff down pretty good then fall off the cliff when an Unknown happens. Mucho Thanks
Awesome glad this helped! I have a bunch of OS tutorials on the official Onshape youtube channel too! We can definitely use the multiple boss extrusion method for a part like this too. When machining a part like this you would likely use a Lathe, so I think the revolve command just feels more natural. But Extrudes are great too!
Awww yeah glad these help!! If you take a look at the STIRLING ENGINE TUTORIAL (on the Onshape channel) you'll learn a bunch more great keyboard shortcuts in Onshape!

Great tutorial. Had to replay a bunch because I'm new to Onshape. Any reason why you want to use the revolve method over vertical circle extrusion?
