Amazing.....When I made the triangle I followed steps but it didn't make it symetrical. I ended up having to select the curve and line on other side of triangle and made it tangen. That worked. Only other issue I had is I cannpt find the TTToby material list. Thanks so much for this. Absolute life saver for a teacher trying to get my head around this

53.89g, surprisingly the cap tripped me up. Had to end up making a plane tangent to the out side diameter and trimming away the outside face to match out side diameter of the cap. If anyone found a way to do that step better let me know!

Toby, i am having an issue with multi body sheet metal parts. When i go to save a dxf. after i have isolated a single body it takes forever like 3 minutes. They are not massive parts maybe 75 parts and i export them one at a time as flat patterns. Is this normal? Or am i doing something wrong?

Hi, I got the rib after following the tutorial. But I have a question: After deleting the face in the end, I notice a small portion of the circular profile of the bigger cylinder is cut out too. So, now when I select the top face of the cyl, I can only see an arc, instead of the full circle. Is this good practice, since now there is some material removed?

I think the solution is to Click the tombstone walls in clockwise order for both to make the thin walls work properly.

I was just doing a small personal project where i made some mounts for some pegboards that i wanted to use different parts off, and i was hiding the parts i wasn't using and saving step files (for printing) of the different iterations of it, thinking "there has to be a better way of doing this that i just don't know" And this is exactly what i would want to do.
