I'm a commercial electrician at a major hospital, we use this ALL THE TIME to cut walker duct, aluminum duct, metal studs, tile... It's easily one of my favorite tools. I use it almost every day.
My coworker once brought in an angle grinder and cut out a hole in our marble counter so our packaged meds would fall into the drawer instead of the ground.
It's a great tool I use it often as an HVAC tech. It overheats and shuts down if too much pressure is applied while cutting or it binds. Harbor freight sells 3" blades that work good on this tool

Why would you run this with a 2.0 when there are bigger packs? I just realized when they were cutting brick that they had the small pack in. Did they mention that they were doing a test with only the 2? That motor size looks like it would like a 6.0.
Yeah, i fully agree with you. If you own a decent/good angle grinder (i have the 60volt flexvolt, and a corded paddle switch Dewalt) adding this tool is super helpful, the reverse direction ability and the sheer small size and low weight to this tool make it great for any time you encounter a tight situation where access is the main concern. I wish it had a belt hook like the rivet gun, for zipping off nails or cutting a screw or bolt in a tight spot where a hacksaw blade is your best option. If you are able to fit this tool where you need to be to make the cut (i took my guard off completely to make it as small as possible) then i cant imagine wanting to cut it by hand over this. If this didn't fit i would try my 12volt bosch dremel tool (GRO actual name they gave it) with a 1.25" cutoff wheel (dremel brand ez loc quick release) if not that then a 12volt reciprocating saw (i own the bosch 12v) if i bought the m12 i would definitely get the FUEL version. Having all the big 18v/20v + 60v tools are fantastic for all cutting applications. Unless there is some reason why it won't fit into the spot you need access to. Thus opening the door for so many awesome m12, makita 12v CXT, and bosch 12v tools. (Dewalt only recently started making good 12volt tools). My favorite tools from Milwaukee are the 12 volt tools, they have the most diverse lineup of 12 volt tools, i.e. m12 rocket, grinder, rivet gun, bandsaw, temp gun, FUEL installation drill/driver, but they still dont have some of the cool 12volt Bosch and makita tools. Vince, while making a living as a dealership technician the air powered version of the 3" cut off tool was invaluable. It was used for exhaust clamps, hangers, shortening fasteners and body sheet metal fabrication. I think Milwaukee has a home run here. They have added greater flexibility to the cut off tool simply by adding a shoe, dust collection and a variety of blade options. I can now use it in my remodel trade and mechanical work all without the hassle of an air hose.

You probably think you were adding a comedic flare. I advise against it and recommend a more laid back style of delivery. There are a lot of videos on RUclips that can help find the right style. Believe it or not. Once again I enjoy your content my comments are not intended to bash your head it is just to encourage you to better yourself.
Laminate Flooring. This tool, much like the Makita 3-1/8" Mini Circular is a GREAT tool for a guy like me. I do a TON of engineered hardwood/laminate flooring. Thinner planks. And the great benefit is the ability to stay close to the work area. Theres no need to get up and walk out to the chop saw etc. Whatever cutting tool you may be needing. It is much quicker and more time efficient. Just having a smaller tool like this for thinner applications is a huge plus. What I like more about the 3" Milwaukee cut off is the size in comparison to the Makita 3 -1/8" mini circular. The Makita handle is much larger and with the battery adds even more length. This is a tool I have been eyeing for a long time but I'm on a totally different platform. So is it worth buying the tool, plus batteries and charger, for 1 tool...
This tool i use in my AC shop for cutting off condensor motor shafts that are too long and will extend over the ACs top without hurting the Bearings that a sawzall could

Milwaukee is awesome when you look at how many cordless circular saws they offer with left or right blade view options. Wish there was a LH version of this. Otherwise love it.
I got the combination set including drill driver from Screwfix in Wales UK Reduced from £249.99 to £199.99
Please review and compare all 3"⅜ blade tools because this Milwaukee doesn't made to cut wood and there is no wood blades for it. I'm looking for one and don't know which one to get. Thank you.
Great tool for certain applications, would be great for HVAC duct work, not so much for PVC, Milwaukee makes a PVC shear tool which works great for PVC up to 2".
I would love more content where you explored the use case...then again I’m biased idk how much of your audience is inexperienced noobs that buy tools they don’t know how to use and want to buy more tools they don’t know how to use.
Typing that reminded me of: ruclips.net/video/NQ-8IuUkJJc/видео.html
You will buy this gimmick,,use it once,,and never use it again,,just use your angle grinder,🧐🧐🇬🇧
Love mine use it for so many things you realise how quick you can just cut through little things where a multitool isnt suitable.
Realistically that tool sucks and not meant for the construction trade. It appears to work for for hobbies, cutting pizza, thin vinyl, and paper.
This is needed, grinders are a pain to mess with when your in the middle of the job. This is awesome & well needed! Good job Milwaukee!
Can you gring or sharpen hardened , broken flat head tips, knives with this?
I love my Milwaukee cut off tool I have two the other one is a mini belt sander😍🥰 which I also showed on your channel❤️👍🏻
Sir I enjoy your videos very much. I think your bursts of energy and in your face attitude is hurting your fan base. I am sure you mean nothing by it. You probably think you were adding a comedic flare. I advise against it and recommend a more laid back style of delivery. There are a lot of videos on RUclips that can help find the right style. Believe it or not. Once again I enjoy your content my comments are not intended to bash your head it is just to encourage you to better yourself.
The Milwaukee M12 Fuel dust extractor is a more specialized tool for the application you explored w/ the vacuum
Shut up and take my money 😎😎😎
Definitely picking this up tomorrow at Home Depot.
Great for cutting into junction boxes and control cabinets. Combine with the rack a tiers magnetic dust bag for the inside. Disco.
I was waiting for Tony Soprano to show up with a smile and a few jokes then grab his envelope and head over to Badda Bing...
I use it to make square cutouts in stainless steel or carbon steel electrical enclosures. Nice tool, use the big ass M12 battery though.
If it changes the way you work “for the better “ then yes!
Безделушечка за 17к деревянных,на дисках разоришься.Хотя,можно и сточенные 125-ые с нормальной болгарки ставить :DНо зачем?
This tool i use in my AC shop for cutting off condensor motor shafts that are too long and will extend over the ACs top without hurting the Bearings that a sawzall could
Discharge towards the rear, Hmmm, Why does that sound so familiar? 🤔
Ohh, I remember now. Taco night 🤦🏼♂️
I just got one! I haven’t use it but I’m pretty sure I will love it!
🤣 @ 4.46 if he wasn't already talking he would have said gimme that !! As he whipped it away
I you change the direction in which the blade rotates, you will find out the dust containment capabilities fo this tool it's better with the vacuum attached.
any tinbashers own one of these? im a commercial tinbasher and have to cut 24 gauge quite regularly wondering how good it works
I bought it,, why idk...it’s kinda weak,, it’s cool, but it didn’t meet my expectations
Tool for nothing!!! This machine has 260€ price. I'll add 100€ and take one M18
i do plumbing an i love this tool!
I'm back and forth on picking one up- where dy find it helpful/essential? Convince me..
Do I want this to cut toe kicks (aluminum or wood) for kitchens? I either use my miter saw or circular saw, but this is obviously smaller
I would not hire that guy you hand him something to cut on a job site and he says he needs to clamp it down first lol
Never mind his idea to reverse the tool to shoot the dust into the vacuum was fucking genius
Should use a faceshield when using cutoff wheels. They can explode and send shrapnel flying.
Vince, where was your hearing protection? Always enjoy your videos!
