Sounds really good, but for that price tag would expect more control over parameters, like with Beef.
With the same amount of money you can get Beef, Bass Mint, a transient shaper and a good eq. Not as convenient as having a all-in-one, but gives you more control
Yep, I guess some prefer control, some prefer simplicity, and some prefer just managing to get the results the cheapest way possible - all valid depending on need and circumstances!
Happy you at least compared Beef with is 10 euro app to Knock which is 36 euro one, at least give people a choice

I have Fosfat, Bass Mint, and Roast Beef so I'm able to find bass hits I'm happy with.
And yet .... can never have too much Bass, so this is definitely on my radar and I'd be more than happy to win a copy.

It's definitely very close. Depends how important the subbass tuning feature is to you, I guess!

Yep..... Dev may have the mentality of a lot of plugin boutique products - price them high then do regular sales at a fraction of the price... Who knows. But certainly the reaction I see in the community suggests that many regard this as way overpriced. I think this is actually the same or even higher than the intro desktop release pricing

Knock sound really good for lo-fi and destroy loop.
Beef can destroy and make lo-fi. Is it me or Beef can also produce clean and punchy drums that shine in the mix that knock can not easily produce?both are excellent. Listening to your video I tend to have a slight preference for Beef that seems to produce more ‘out of the mix’ drums . But I may be wrong
May be true, as you might know if you watch my channel, I don't use drums much, certainly both sound good and if I was on a budget and already had Beef I might be tempted to save my money, unless the tunable subbass - which is excellent - is very important to you

Sounded great with Splat to Clat.. Phat as Phuck.. 😁 To have all that power + tweakability in one plug-in is very handy.. Knock or Beef can both do some fantastic processing.. all depends what you need done.. Thanks for this comparison demo..

Nice comparison. To be honest I hadn’t paid much attention to Beef before, but I’m going to give this video a re-watch with headphones to see if I can hear more of the subtle differences between the two.
Beef is great bang for your buck!
I think the biggest thing Knock has going for it is the interface. Easy to navigate with everything right where you expect it. One thing that is a bit of a hidden feature is if you click the sub label you can solo the sub section. Bit rich for my blood atm but I may cave eventually
Its on the pricey side (at UK £26 ) for an effect but the desktop plugin version is $100 by comparison so yet again its a win for ipad users!

Knock seems to be really versatile. I liked the max’d out sound you got Gavin. Beef sounded a little more restrained or possibly a bit more subtle. Not knocking either as both sounded great, Knock especially.
