Hated cab overs until I didn’t. Know, I really appreciate them because the ones that are still around are well cared for. This guy is the driver, not even the owner. Wow, lucky guy 😊 loved that White Goblin
I drove a C/O KW 87 model with a double bunk sleeper back in the 80's & 90's for about 10 years. The truck had a 903ci V8 Cummins with a 10 speed Road Ranger trans. 2 straight stacks behind the sleeper I loved that truck! Finally the truck needed a rebuild and the boss bought me a hood truck with a day cab. That ended my trucking career!! Thanks for sharing this ole beauty!!
That first Red Oval ( Pete) C.O.E. ( Cab Over Engine) is a 352 they have the round headlights , the 362 Red Oval has the rectangular headlights & some the the cab lines are different. The headlights, doors, grill & I do believe some other features. That 389 is nice the one with the step deck flatbed. The nice thing about powder coating is it last longer than paint. The Goblin is looking good bro
Wow that is nice did you make any of your famous decals yet may I purchase one I have to let everybody know who the king of the road is it will look real good on my Dodge ram
Back in the day my friend had a 1968 cab over Peterbuilt push rod 4 in quarter cat with a 4×4 over 290 wb. , Sanded her down , and painted the frame like a chocolate Brown and painted the cab white 🕶 These vatos have some nice rides for sure , Nice video good content my friend , Tell food and no whiskey what up 🕶
Kw K100E aerodyne i think is what Bj and the beat truck was. Cool looking COE. If you check out FSC Trucking Steve drives a 84 362 Peterbilt, he has a 352 Pete project truck also. My friends dad had a International Trans Star COE, his dad ran than truck for about 5 years. I have no idea how his dad and step mother were able to sleep in such a small space. His dad traded it in 1995 for a brand new Peterbilt 379 exhd with a 3406e Cat.
For the past 15-20 years I could probably count on 1 hand how many flats I had. My guess is around 3-4. I did run 11R-24.5 on truck & trailer. Buy name brand tires like for your truck. I like Yokohoma or Bridgestone. The trailer you can run something not so big name, but a good tire like Firestone, General, but all alike. Not no China made stuff. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Pay a little more and not have so many flats, that is time & money.
You could get an Air Cell intake spacer for that Cat. You will gain up to .5 to the gallon! I know because I have one on my KW T660, CUMMINS in it. I highly recommend it driver.
Back in the day Cabinovers were for the New Be's. Hard work and good diving got you a conventional. Was the happiest day in my trucking career when I got a long nose even though I had to give up my new Pete with a big cam 400 to a cappy 235hp, 5speed Mack. After that I passed on a brand-new Volvo to keep a full nosed truck. I hate cabinovers they ride like shit.
Cabovers are cool until you have to drive one for a living. Great in tight spaces. But, will beat the SHIT out of you. Also. When someone tells you their fuel mileage varies between this number and that, just means they have no idea what their fuel mileage is. It's ONE number folks.
Shit you need to get hauling the Delaware ports got lots of freight if you have your twick card run loads from DOLE BANNAS TO WAL MART IN ILLINOIS TO MAKE BIG BUCKS .
The driver of the truck seems pretty cool, but the guy doing the interview seems real goofy. It’s pretty obvious he doesn’t know anything about trucks or hydraulic jacks or transporting produce or the fact that most people like Cabover not dislike cabovers

Great video. Really cool trucks. Love the COE.
That’s the nicest truck I’ve seen before. How much do you think something like that would cost?
Love the engine intake that goes through the sleeping quarters!
The wheel covers have been around since Early 90's they are called T-KANES hub covers

I used to work on cabovers, 9670 international's. Can't bobtail in them, no brakes. And the a/c can't cool the cab. You're sitting on the engine.😅
Great video. Drive safely my friend. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲

I'm glad that your father's engine rebuild is just about finished. But seeing that you posting videos late, it's probably done already.

wow that whole new dashboard look like the Gobblen dashbord blow that trsin on on that dashbord Ha Ha
Perfect setup love it that's the look wheels at assembly end of trailer dropped in front nice
All you need is a portable hand polishing machine .
That's a mechanical cat give it fuel air & oil .cab overs ride ruff your sitting on the front tire .but it's great to see old iron on the road
Good stuff good to see you branching out with your truck knowledge as well
What knowledge?
