    Those holes in the ash covered glaciers are pretty terrifying but worth the risk, Wow, what incredible views and falls, thank you for taking us with you.

    What a great way to end the hike - those waterfalls are just stunning!
    Yeah I like those little waterfalls too, especially surrounded by so much moss - so cute!

    The waterfalls are amazing. The road system in Iceland is rather "new". They build the roads to pass by the big attractions. You can see this at the Geysirs, Pingvellir National Park, or the Gullfoss waterfall.

    Thats a brutal landscape - is there a best time of year to hike Iceland? i thought that was an owl in a hole at 2.30. Also - does the black ash not absorb sunlight and cause the ice under it to melt? i thought that was how it worked.
