This wasn't the video I intended to make as I didn't realize that everything was so inaccessible here, and there was no trail around Coniston Water. We made the best of the day and saw some beautiful water features around Stanley Gill and Dalgarth Falls before stopping at an amazing spot for the night and made some fabulous new friends

Great to see you having such a good car camping experience - glad you met such a nice couple who shared their food with you.

just judging by your mood I could tell you were really happy with that spot , did look nice to be fair. I like the fact you show everything as you said most won't 👍

It was a great spot; I'm not usually one for social spots but it was nice for a change

There are signs stating that storms had brought down trees and rocks, closing the lower falls platform. There is no way you would have got either of the dogs up the VERY steep, slippery steps hewn out of the rock to the viewing platform. I did it but realised I was there on my own, and if I'd had an accident, no one would have found me and no one knew I was there. There is a walk to the viewing platform another way (the way I came down) but it isn't signposted. That looks like a cracking park up.
