After whale watching was cancelled due to the wind and access to the volcano was no longer allowed I spent the day exploring some beautiful and unique aspects of Iceland. From black churches to green lakes and red rocks and finally soaking a painful ankle. A nice campsite and a good meal followed our busy day.
