Hi Gabi, I grow up in Bratislava and absolutely loved the fact that it’s only 30 mins on bicycle to Austria or Hungary. Sometimes as a students we had a breakfast home in Slovakia. Lunch in Hungary and dinner in Austria. 👌🏼 Great memories

I hope your health returned and by now you are feeling better! I was born and raised in Budapest, just a short walking distance from the Parlament building. I’m happy you were able to go to the big market, despite you didn’t feel well. Unfortunately you were right about the damage what the water caused. But by now everything returned to normal. I love your videos ❤️

What a nice video, I really like it. I hope you enjoyed the trip. I would like to correct few facts about Bratislava. Bratislava has population of 732,757 as at December 31, 2023 (source: national statistical office). Similar floods were in Bratislava in 2002, 2006, 2009, 2013 and 2024. So it is not that rare, and definitely not 30 years from the last flood ;)
Thanks.. but both Google and chat gpt still tell me that population is 440.000 as of 2024 😅 And according to that newspaper article that I posted in the video, Bratislava didn’t have a flood so strong and damaging for the past 30 years, but it had several floods in the past years..
