- WATCH: The full bodycam footage of former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch's arrest for suspected DUI was released by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Authorities say Lynch was apparently found sleeping in a vehicle that was in an undrivable condition. The police report says the front driver's side wheel had no rim or tire and that both passenger's side tires were about to fall off.

As I watch this sober since Oct 31 2021, I get real anxious. That night my wife called the cops on me and I drove blacked out. I woke up with car on, in drive with my foot on the break, at 330am. I am lucky that I didnt hit the gas when I fell asleep. Across the street was a 100 foot embankment leading down to a 70mph highway. I was lucky. Lucky to not get a DUI. LUCKY TO NOT DIE. This can happen to anyone. Please, please do not drink and drive. It is too dangerous and we can hurt or kill some one including ourselves. I PRAISE GOD FOR MY SOBRIETY AND THE ABILITY TO HOLD MY 1 YEAR OLD SON IN MY ARMS. IT TOOK ME GOING TO REHAB TO GET OFF ALCOHOL AND COCAINE. I AM BLESSED TO BE SOBER. PRAISE GOD.

Those are carbon fiber rims. Easily broke and when they go they go in a catastrophic way. The officer has never seen anything like that because there are few cars with things like that. These are as expensive as a very high end used car.
I did this once and it's a scary feeling when you wake up. You don't know where you're at, you don't know how you got there, and the feeling of stupidity comes over you immediately. I remember waking up parked in front of a random house in an unknown neighborhood at 3am. Thank god they didn't report my car for being suspicious

I once drove late at night very sleepy. (microsleeping at red traffic lights and the only reason I woke up was because of the cars beeping at me.) It's not a good feeling. I felt like I wasn't in control and thank God I didnt crash. Now I can't imagine driving home drunk, impaired, or under anything that isn't awake and sober.
I watched this on 1.5x. The female officer had the patience I need in life.

No evidence of him driving. He wasn’t illegally parked. The vehicle wasn’t reported as stolen. Sleeping in a broken down vehicle isn’t against the law. Homeless people do it all the time. Didn’t even hear them do Miranda Rights. She was trying to get him to admit to driving. They are sneaky.

I got a dui when I first turned 21. Drove home while my friend was passed out in the passenger seat. Drove 30 miles and wrecked not even mile from home. I haven’t drink in 15 years or longer.

I have absolutely no compassion for anyone who chooses to drive under the influence of alcohol or any other substance. Some of you think it’s no big deal but wait until you lose family members because of somebody’s selfishness. It’s devastating and incredibly painful- I found this person to be absolutely disgusting.

I’ve seen too many accidents involving an influencing substance. I’ve only been in the fire service 6 years but it’s been more than enough to make me disgusted by those who choose to use substances and still drive
I remember drinking one night and waking up in my car parked on the side of the highway about an hour away from where I was to a cop telling me to get out. I had the worst hangover and I had absolutely no idea how I got out there, it was scary. Luckily, I was sitting in my passenger seat with the keys in my pocket so the cop had no way of proving I was driving, so I was charged with public intoxication instead of a DUI. To this very day it's still a mystery how I got out there without killing myself or someone else. Been almost a year sober now.

@@JeremyFriebel Well I thought the same but we were in the middle of nowhere, a whole hour away from where I was. I guess it's likely lol. Maybe I drove and had the good sense of pulling over and switching seats. I got super lucky though.
