Kya folitrax lena zaruri hai RA me?
I was diagnosed with SLE, and i m taking just HCQS200 and Saaz ds1000 since last one year and all my reports are normal, even RA came negative.
Is this combination ok?
Welcome. Thanks for watching and support to this awareness.
Most important drug of Rheumatoid arthritis is methotrexate (folitrax).
In SLE , It is not necessary to have methotrexate.
In Each patient clinical symptoms and severity of autoimmune diseases varies , So right or wrong treatment based on what medicines u r taking without knowing clinical details and status of patient is not the right comment.
If u r doing well on these medicines and under a Rheumatologist guidance then u r on right track.

May be or may not be. Treatment Target is not reduction of Rf and anti ccp . Treatment is given to patient for relief in joint pain.
Hello dr. My dad was being diagnosed with head and neck cancer and how he's into remission and doctor suggested 15 mg methotrexate but didn't suggest to take folic acid with it. What would be the optimum dosage of folic acid to take with methotrexate. Thankyou
Yes. Folic acid needed. Once weekly 5 mg is must, if anemic then more frequent.

Thanks. You should meet a Rheumatologist for evaluation for the severity of AS. Based on evaluation and examination, we advise treatment. Methotrexate is used in the treatment of lymphoma.
Many arthritis patients get viral infection because of lack of proper treatment or control of diseases . Virus can cause lymphoma.Radiation can cause lymphoma. So not proven by methotrexate
