What a lot of you guys don’t understand is that a lot of the times when bands record stuff, they usually learn it enough to record it. Then once the album is finished they usually go back and relearn their parts before the tour. This video was originally recorded like RIGHT after the album came out. He very well could have forgotten some parts.
It just sounds like he just turned his guitar fingers off and locked up all the guitars for Thanksgiving then had brought one out to do this video...to warmup lol

It's pretty clear this is at a point he hasn't relearned all the parts. He said himself the part he enjoys least about touring is going back through all the songs and relearning how to play them.

Petrucci has 6 string DT songs in E, Eb, Drop D, D, C, and an A tuned baritone...at the least, those are the ones that I know for sure. Take that...plus the technique I stated above, and you're all set.
Untethered Angel is C standard Paralyzed is B flat Fall Into The Light is E standard Barstool Warrior is E standard Room 137 is B standard (I think) S2N is B standard although pretty much the whole song can be played in E standard At Wit's End is D standard Out of Reach is either E standard or B standard not completely sure Pale Blue Dot is B standard Viper King is Drop A Hope this helps!

Inverted 5th chords gives you a "phantom low B string"
He tunes the string to a lower note...
