I agree with a lot of what you said. Im so disappointed i wont be watching the next 2 episodes. I also had to re read uzumaki to get rid of the sour taste it left in my mouth
The digital 3D animation was bad enough but the cheap animating pretty much ruins it. I also don’t find the swirls scary at all but that’s a source material problem. Animation not doing much just makes it a worthless show to watch. I do like the faster pacing though. I hate how slow pacing anime has. Slow pacing is for brain rot folk.
It's official now, it's impossible to adapt Junji Ito's work into an anime.
Episode 4 has the same director as the first episode so maybe there's a chance it can be saved 🙏
