6 months ago we were the best MMO out there and it was fun, and we wrote off and laughed at TL. Things changed so much in BDO and it's not fun

Optimization in BDO means: we deleted something you used for years, turned somethings on its head, screwd your class, $300 class reroll and to be fully optimized we need you to buy 700,000 crons.

@@BiceptimusPrime Personally, I enjoy the original Korean video more. There are many things lost in translation and I find that it causes much grief for many. This is the case as they often do not understand where something is coming from because it was simply not conveyed properly through translation.

But I'm out, if you think more grind spots, more cron sinks, no PvE real content, no PvP real change (bringing back flawed, old, node war system in 2 months is not a real change) is good... have your fun. i dont know if i like it or not , but as a grinder player that i spends a lot of hours this is not good for me more gear progressive means more cycles and I still don't have 5 sets of debo and I'm not p2w, especially now as the accessories get more expensive it's harder for me,This is great for players like you, where you have all PEN...It makes more sense if they be release Sov sub weapon,but this is to much for now!!Plus the p2w players can get them in 1 week Max, this makes the game more unbalanced (pvp)!!They have more important things to fix for now, to add more progressive gear it is not the right time!!For the time the sov release and makes the weapon pri - x , p2w players expose more than ever thats makes the game more p2w...!!
Unfortunately the game is 7+ years old and this is way to get the veterans back. I get what you mean, but don't worry there's always cap content for nodewar and sieges and the majority of population are around this level
What I wish PA does is to make getting crons easier from like content / group content with meaningful amount
f you want the game to do what you want, then spend your own money and do it yourself, no one has free time to work for free
10:20 They need to optimise a lot, but my best guess is that they probably need to rewrite some code considering that writing something that does one thing is different from writing something that does one of two things.
For example my dad has two frequently used machines that make drinks: a coffee machine and a soda stream. While this is the optimal solution as you want the machine that makes the foul concoction as far away from the machine that produces pure nectar of the god as possible, if you for some god forsaken reason intend to combine the two some engineering decisions and modifications are required that are not needed when the two are separate.
I wonder what they do with earrings... rings and belt get 1 ap per level, neck two. so everything works out with tet debo = pen karazad and pen debo = oct karazad (+one level for conversion).
But earrings would go to 21 ap on dec, 16 pen. you would loose a sheet ap from the conversion. sure, you also gain 4 hidden ap from the second earring (6x4=24 vs 20 debo set bonus), but also loose 4 sheet ap from pen disto, leaving probably a bracket behind (3ap every 5 sheet). meaning a conversion of tet debo earrings would only make sense if you are after the dr and crystal slot, not ap for endgame players rn. assuming you cant convert pen disto into a crystal. they only mentioned accu, eva, dr and rage after all.
No one asked for more gear. They wanted PA to fix the game...

True, but lets be honestly here, WAY more than we thought they did. They need to keep this going and we might be on to something. For PvE its looking great with these announcements, new zones and the 2 new Expansions announced. For competitive PvP.... its a looooooooong way still.

Its true to an extend but keep in mind this is just one update that targeted alot of things from reviving old accessories, adding new pve content, old NW system and so on. But keep in mind this is JUST a dev update and ofcourse we get more updates in the future especially since heidel ball is somewhat close.
Will this update bring me back to play more as a main game now? Probably not, as an awk ranger main the class balancing is just frustrating and I enjoy pvp more then pve but I'm glad they ACTUALLY Listened for once and will keep an eye out if they ever target more pvp/class balance

They do need end game content but there are a lot of factors here.

Unlike sov, this is actually going to ease the progression path for new players, as it gives steps along the way with real gains, instead of making you go from 5-10bil accessories to 40+ Bill Debos. Now you get a more streamlined progress after your pen cres etc.

In BDO you don't grind for progress you grind for the possibility to save your try on upgrading. This just doesn't feel good at all considering how you obtain cron stones.

I guess we can already see PA's plan make all gears to be purple tier with enhancement up to DEC and you cant sell them to CM.
Pretty sure in the future they will make FGA's purple tier too like the new accs you can convert your FGA's to that so you can upgrade them up to DEC for 1 DP per upgrade.
Also why are they putting Monster Zones in LotML? why not just make a dungeon like Murrowak Dungeon? If LotML part 2 is making us party for Blitz Bosses why not let us party up for dungeons like Murrowak?
I love everything you've done for the game and how passionate you are for it. I've followed your progression for years and you have always inspired people to play more but sonni I'm sorry to say i feel like you're taking some huge copium hits here bro. This update doesn't change anything really it makes minor tweaks at best. People have had enough of cron grinding and the lack of pvp in the world makes it seem pointless. Honestly I wish you the best i really do, but myself...like many are done with them now. It's sad to say as I love this game and it's taken a lot from me. I lost a relationship over this game and yet still played it after but it's cooked now for me. All the best my Dutch brother 💙

No, they didn’t listen. They’re trying to fix their mistake in a really poor way. Now, with 90% of the PVP community gone and having stopped playing the game (at least in the EU), they’re trying to 'hotfix' it. They want to bring back the old system in uncapped Node Wars, where everything depends on the winner of the uncapped siege guild. Hello? Are you even aware of the uncapped situation in the EU? For months, there’s been just one alliance dominating the uncapped siege and Tier 5 (Conq), as they’re simply too strong for everyone else.
The few remaining guilds and alliances have moved on to Serendia/Balenos and Mediah/Valencia. So now they want one Conq in the EU to decide the outcome for the rest of us with this old Node War system? Who's going to go there just to get stomped and rolled over by them? No one! This isn’t fixing anything! It’ll be as dead as it is now. The PA devs don’t even play their own game. They’re completely blind and deaf to everything we’ve told them.
They are trying to move to the right direction :) Some people just want to hate and keep exaggerating how the game is dead, but it obviously isn't. Maybe some people just expect that they will fix all things in 1 month, but I guess it isn't so simple. Already some good enough changes and hopefully there are more good changes to come - step by step. Haters can give up on the game, it is fine. The game doesn't have to be and maybe even can't be for everyone which is completely normal. There are still many who have hope for the game and want to continue to play.
I agree, PA has made mistakes and they acknowledged that they did and are trying to correct those mistakes, but it seems like older players just want to have this raging hate boner for PA. At this point i'd say screw those boomers let them leave. New players/ new blood will eventually fill the void of those players
@@masterdante54 Yeah :) Like some of the systems have existed in the game since the beginning and they are complaining about things that they did for thousands of hours on their free will. If they got tired of it then it is what it is :) And yes there were some bad decisions made by PA, but as you said, they are at least trying to fix their mess and do better. There are still many people who like this game and gladly PA is also making some better moves now so all good without haters who sound like a broken radio everywhere just following the hate train like puppets :) Some people are just never satisfied and enjoy spreading negativity - I think it is time for them to move on and find something they like instead of trying to look for negativity :)

@@ImPulseRex The thing is that when I started, I took the game as it is. To me it felt about the same as it does now (18k hours later), so I kind of knew what I'm getting into. Also I'm not playing it the way many people do who are hating on the game so maybe that's why the current situation doesn't bother me too much. I do agree that the game needs many improvements to become a better game, but at the same time I'm not surprised that the game is as it is and I'm not wasting my time on hating the game instead of moving on and playing and concentrating on things that I like. Also I have made some suggestions to PA, but privately. And there have been a few things they fixed or added (maybe just by a coincidence but still). The thing is that hating and asking for improvements are two different things. I don't think PA wants to co-operate with people who are constantly whining and saying that the the game is s**t and it is dead. Criticism is for sure a good thing, but there are many better ways to make suggestions. Many youtubers who are hating on the game haven't actually done much behind the scenes, it is all for the views. People seem to like drama. And many who are whining in the comments haven't also done anything to try and improve the game. Also PA has enough information on what they should do to improve the game. They have all the statistics they need (unlike us), so they don't need us to say that the game is dead. If they want to improve the game, then they will do it and if they think it is okay as it is then this is the reality and we can't do much about it. Their wallets will get hurt if the game really dies so I'm sure if it matters to them, then they will do what has to be done. BDO hasn't been under PA for 8 years, but as long as it has been, it is exactly as you said, they didn't listen to many things. So it is not like they will listen to everything we ask now, if they don't want to. People should just either make suggestions in order to give PA information in case they want to listen to us or go play something else that makes them feel happier. It just feels like people are living too much in past and can't move on - need to keep coming back just to express hate. Anyway people are different and have different preferences so if some people still like BDO, it is up to them - nothing to do with copium. And as a matter of fact some of the changes mentioned recently are at least to some extent what people asked for. So now that they are trying to do something that many players asked for, it is still a problem to many. I mean some people are never satisfied and always expect more and more. I don't expect much so I don't get hurt much also if they aren't doing the things I'm hoping for :) Anyway BDO isn't life, it is just a game among many
No pvp = dead game. For pve players it doesn’t matter since they play a single player grinder anyways… But the only relevant content in this game which also requires more players is dead and that means the game is dead.
I gotta be honest of my life of 30+ with which more than half of this i have been playing games til now, I could say Pearl Abyss (BDO TEAM) by far is the best in terms of listening and knowing what their players want. Like of my years of playing BDO, most of the shits i thought is flawed were fixed, and im one of those pips who complains a lot to their CS, though i never really post it online. Just literal go to their CS and complain/suggest. It's also the only MMO i played where pips with no money actually excels. This is the only mmo I played where you can just farm and grind (not even totally crazy grinding) without paying but still can enjoy pvp. I know people who have complete items but patiently waits for weeks even months to PO kama or old moon or costumes. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

So first off, they wont. As you can use them to make the new Karazad Accessories. Also, what happened with Witches Earrings, Mark of Shadows etc, when Cresc, Tungrad, Basi belt etc came out. Eventually items lose relevance. What happened with Spinal Reaper when Asscandy came out in wow?

They should make group content reward a lot amount of crons make it more meaningful to do the existing content since everything requires crons. A way to not depend everything on p2w / sink your cash to blacksmith buying cron
The siege lvl also better get rotate maybe weekly , mediah uncap, next week, calpheon uncap, next valencia uncap. Make it variety and prevent one mega alliance monopoly a region coz thats one of main politics problem right now

Crons are just silver. The "problem" with cronstones, is the discrepancy in cost between "costume" crons and "vendor" crons. They NEED to reduce that difference, it should only be like 10% apart, so you would still want to buy costumes when you can (thats how they make money, it is what it is), but you arent feeling like you are being crippled by having to buy vendor crons. I think that would go a very long way.

I don’t get it, back in the day people make like 300mil an hour when crons was at 2mil per, now that everyone making 1 bil an hour, shouldn’t it be much easier? And the new accessories doesn’t blow up and you can start it from base… And the grind spots has been like that for years ever since it’s release, meaning that’s what the game really is. They just need to up the rewards for pvp.

Thank you Bicep! I at least think that it is good that they are making some changes in a positive direction. Sure there are still bad things, but we have to be realistic they cannot fix this mess in one day!
It's just that the high-end gear you get, like Dec Karazad and Dec Sovereign, doesn't matter. It's only a gimmick because the ap upgrade is not noticeable when doing stuff in the game. The only thing this gave players was around 2 more hard levels on enhancing
