So much win in one video. While I may have a spindle already, I'm probably just going to get the one you package to avoid any troubles and you've done great work in integrating the one you provide with all the bells and whistles it needs to make life easy. And packaging the legs is perfect.

Just got an MK2 fully setup and have been presently surprised by the versatility of the machine. I feel like a total nerd for watching this whole video, but I have definitely valued y'alls time. You both explained all items in layman's terms and I was able to grasp how this machine can be of value in the future. Hope to have an Alt Mill in the near future and good luck in your future endeavors Mates!

you guys spoke on the rigidity, I'm wondering about the rigidity of the bed. what is supporting the MDF to prevent sag when pressure is applied?

Are you guys planning an assembly video like you did w the mk2? This will be my first machine and any guidance would be killer. Planning to order on the 5th of May.

I know Daniel's been doing the z-downward deflection tests and optimizations... but that begs the question... can you wall mount this thing? :)

Look at the blog post he referred to at the beginning of the video. The extrusions are completely hollow and honestly not extremely thick walls.
You can compare this to something like the Shapeoko HDM and it's X rail extrusion is solid.... 100% solid aluminum and the Y rails have 1/2" thick walls.
Your paying $3k US for a CNC. Don't expect miracles.

But all parts are holding together nicely, hollow dosent mean weak, when machinig it looks and sounds rigid, i worked with German, Swiss CNCs, byfar this looks one of the best hobby ones
