Fi’s robotic and expressionless character is a good contrast to Girahim’s flamboyant and over exaggerated one however they are both extremely loyal to their masters.
yeah it's kinda strange in a way, like, Girahim has a very human chaotic flanboyant personality - whike Fi is very stoic- roboticish and almost completely one track minded on completing Hylia's task in the way she tried to set it to be intended. Girahim seems to take whatever route is presented to him to get his tasks completed and he doesn't hesitate to alternate his plans to fix any problems that come up (like going into the past when the Triforce vanquishes demise in the future). I didnt know that because i didnt play skyward sword and i was so shook i had to pause the video for a few seconds xD I thought he was just a sidekick or a second seperate villain or something.
I remember watching someone play and I just got up, left the room and took a shower because I had to pause and think about this for a moment... It's probably what cemented Ghirahim as my favorite Zelda villain and probably also favorite Zelda character in general... I knew there'd be _some_ reveal, but I didn't expect that...
I was a child, so I had to watch my mom play it, and I remember being so... SHOOK! I don't think I honestly was expecting a character like Girahim, who has so much personality, to be but a pawn in a much more dangerous character's plans... And the maniacal laughter while he's having a sword torn from his chest is always partially unsettling...
I also think it’s fitting that Fi seems to reside inside the sword and gracefully dances out of it whenever needed, but with Ghirahim, the sword seems to reside inside him and it only comes out when brutally forced out of him.
That is actually part of my very own theory. In this one, Ghirahim was also made by the godness, bht eventually corrupted. And as a sign of this I would use the final battle in which you have to destroy the white stone on his chest, only to reveal a red one. But this isn't where the red stops, because the wounds around it are also kind orangy and yellowish. I would go asfar as to say that Ghirahim and Fi are literal siblings, and that Ghirahims dark colored skin in his sword for is only symtome of his corruption, while his "true body" is still under it. With the dark skin esencially isolating the whole former body, it would only make sense that the Demon Sword has to be forced out, as it esencially is also locked up, even tho also currupted. Its just an idea but one I think that makes sense, to be honest.
@@nick3805 Nah man, he's definitely not made by the Goddesses. It's a balance thing, the Goddesses did not create demise or ganon, they are the balance to the Goddesses creations.

I'm pretty sure Ghirahim won't be coming back. If Demise (at the very least) made the sword vanish, and then was sealed inside the Sword that Seals the Darkness, his sword would be sealed with him. But since his essence was sealed, and his essence has been most likely deteriorating constantly since SS, he would most likely be entirely dead by the time of BotW/BotW 2.
@@TheRealRidley12 I didn't think that we would actually be seeing Ghirahim I'm his human form. I just thought it might be cool if Ganondorf had the sword again!
I love how Fi lives inside the goddess sword but the demon sword lives inside Ghirahim. Demise literally had to pull it out from within him. Fi's robotic speech compared to Ghirahim's drama and emotion fits well with this because Fi is still the sword first and foremost, basically having been dormant within it for so long, whereas Ghirahim has had the chance to become almost independent of the fact that he's a sword, being able to exist as a being with his own personality and drive.
well since the master sword was shown to finally speak for the first time in eons, it wouldnt be surprising if the demon sword could make an appearance in the sequel. showing up for the final showdown and end the cycle.

A little added point to the whole person becoming demon theory. It's also supported by Ganondorf, who, though a reincarnation of Demise, was always an ordinary Gerudo biologically. However through his intense malice and the Triforce of power was capable of transforming into a demon, namely Ganon. A form he permanently adopts in the downfall timeline.
I one hundred percent agree with this parallelism being intentional. I think that the golden goddesses specifically created both Hylia and Demise intentionally.
Before clicking this video, I thought you were going to ask what happened to the Demon Sword. "Like, where is it now? Can Ganon obtain it? Can Link obtain it?" You know, that kind of thing
Sadly it seems it was either lost in that alternate pocket dimension we fight demise in never to be seen again or it was destroyed along with demise. Though now that I think about it, breath of the wild hinting towards fi still being around does make skyward sword the only other relevant game to that part of the timeline. I'd like to point out some interesting characteristics between the two blades. We see Ghirahim have two forms: the one we first meet in Skyview Temple and the late game version where his colors are inverted. Take note that he can summon his own swords and change his form at will. At end game, we only see his sword as it truly is, the spikey, black blade. Fi, meanwhile, stays in her true, original form throughout the game, reminiscent to the colors of the Master sword. However, the Goddess sword has yet to become the Master sword; it shouldn't be possible to be at her true form already. Despite that, she dons that color palette whilst the Goddess sword has pastel colors. We never see Fi have more than one form. We never see her having an ability to summon her own weapons. What does this mean? If these blade-beings are parallel to each other, why are they so different? Ghirahim, rightfully, appears to be more powerful considering his abilities, and yet, that is not the case by end-game. If we consider the idea of Ghirahim's two forms as a progression from a weak state to a stronger state, then how is it possible for Fi to sustain her true form while her sword is apparently weak? Also, back on the topic of power; since Fi is in her true form, it would be easy to assume that she is more powerful than him from the start and her abilities would match to his, yet we never see her do more than sing, dance, and act like a Gps. I'd think the demon lord is more than capable to perform likewise, had he needed to. Strength seems to be the main determinant between Ghirahim's and Fi's differences, but the facts struggle to support this theory, because they counter each other. So if that not necessarily the case, I struggle to find what is. It would be great to solve this little riddle! It has been bugging me for a long while
I named Demise' sword "Perniciem Ikrele". Perniciem is Latin, its meaning based on a couple of sources is execution and death which I believe fits Demise. Ikrele is the South African language Xhosa (which fun fact: Is the same language spoken by the Wakandans in "Black Panther"), it means Sword from what I could gather off some places on the net. I decided to use Xhosa because Demise is Ganon's earliest life and Ganon is a Gerudo who is the closest thing to Africans/African-Americans I can see in the Zelda series so I thought it'd be cool.
It would make more sense if Ganondorf was the “chosen one” by Demise, which is kind of true; not entirely, but his mission is to fulfill Demise’s ancient wish of conquering the whole world - as link’s mission is to accomplish Hylia’s desire, to protect everyone and beat Demise. I mean- it makes sense like this- this theory though was really nice!
Very good job with the video, you are an excellent theorist my friend! I can’t believe I haven’t seen any theories on this topic yet, I’m so glad my man MNB was the one to do it💪🏼
I 100% agree with this theory and have speculated about it myself before, though I wasn't this thorough. And if this is the case, ALL THE CHAOS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF HYLIA GOT A DANG COPYRIGHT ON THE MASTER SWORD! :D So if Fi is the good version of ghirahim, I wonder if Skyward Sword Link were killed, would she go on a blood bath of a quest to revive him like ghirahim did with demise? I wonder... :O
Dude i like how you cleaned up the edits since the first video with the new format, now it’s perfect. Well done. Btw, you blew my mind with the dark link theory XD
Link could only upgrade the Goddess Sword into the Master-Sword thanks to the 3 Flames of the Golden Goddesses... What if Ghirahim was once only the "Demon King Sword" or the "Dark God Sword" or whatever and he infused "himself" with the three flames to become the Anti-Master-Sword? I mean it would make sense why he appeared in the 4th and 6th Dungeon where the flames were located... And he also had a motive: To open Time Portals
@@TheRealRidley12 Or after if we concider the fact that he was nowhere to be seen in anywhere during the regular events of Skyward Sword after the 6th Dungeon.
@@sofigzz3163 The Triforce itself has in this case not much to do with the three sacred Flames. Of course this entire adventure was necessary for Link to improve his Balance of Courage, Power and Wisdom to be able using the Triforce without splitting it immediately like Ganondorf but since the Three golden Goddesses themself are or at least seem to be neutral you got a point
Some sword facts. Demise's sword has a flamberge blade. Usually it is more wavey rather than spikey, but the same principle applies that it's blade was meant to rip and tear as it stabs. A steak knife compared to the master sword letter opener.

So if that not necessarily the case, I struggle to find what is. It would be great to solve this little riddle! It has been bugging me for a long while
u deserve more subscribers man
Fun video!
Also, your new direction with your videos is coming along nicely. Good job.
AWESOME VIDEO BRO!
I wonder... :O
That was actually the most genuine feeling way I've ever heard someone ask for subscribers. Kudos.
Omg, the Beedle stickers!! 🤣🤣
And he also had a motive:
To open Time Portals
Almost put this in the video but cut it to not take too much time on just the swords- but this was legit in my script haha. I love the possibility!
That's only two of the three flames, though. But he could've gotten to the third flame before Link.
Yeah, and also the triforce doesn't distinguish between good and evil, so it would be a cool idea for Ghirahim to upgrade his sword/being.
@@TheRealRidley12
Or after if we concider the fact that he was nowhere to be seen in anywhere during the regular events of Skyward Sword after the 6th Dungeon.
@@sofigzz3163
The Triforce itself has in this case not much to do with the three sacred Flames.
Of course this entire adventure was necessary for Link to improve his Balance of Courage, Power and Wisdom to be able using the Triforce without splitting it immediately like Ganondorf but since the Three golden Goddesses themself are or at least seem to be neutral you got a point
I really love the way you make your videos! They always keep me engaged and entertained!
HAHAHAHAHHA WE NEED MORE OF THOSE INTROS KAKSJDKAJSJA
Some sword facts. Demise's sword has a flamberge blade. Usually it is more wavey rather than spikey, but the same principle applies that it's blade was meant to rip and tear as it stabs. A steak knife compared to the master sword letter opener.
Yeah I'm wondering what happened to the demon sword, hopefully it will reappear one day 😯

The editing in this video...QUALITY.
