This song is "like opium" - you wish it will never end. I am 43 and I started listening to DCD only a few years ago after I saw them live in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. I now understand why I didn't like them when I was younger. I had to grow up.

Damn, I listened DCD, Deep Forest, Enigma, Delerium and many others as a kid. My parents didn’t introduce this music to me. It just sort of found me when I was 9 or 10 years old. I loved it immediately. I was a very misunderstood child and continue to be misunderstood as an adult 🤣🤣

This is super personal but I would like to where it with you. Most people may think this kind of music is “weird”, but for me, it was the begin of my recovery after being in a psychiatric hospital for almost a month. The first time that I listened to their music, it was a completely and inmediate healing for my soul. Since 2002, I’ve never stopped to listen this beautiful music.

My dad was always being inlove with Dead Can Dance.
He has had a great taste in music, he was a military pilot.
when i was a child he showed me a lot of beautiful things in music, in physics.
    He was my soul arbitrator.
He died of aortha rupture in 29.11.2020

    Картину небес достать,
    Себя ветром пленить
    И птицей парить.
    Порой
    В моей крови жив океан;
    Дождь слёз, видишь небом дан-
    Соль горькая.
    Но вот
    Тех слёз горечь на языке,
    Тонешь ты в тёплой реке
    Грёз опия.
    Грёз опия...
    Порой
    Я чувствую к жизни вкус
    Без воспоминаний уз.
    Войду в дверь тогда...

I came to Dead can Dance through the film Gladiator and stepped into a magical world where lost musical instruments were brought back to life and Lisa and Brendan sang songs in a language I did not understand so I learned to interpret each piece through the music alone and let my imagination take me on extraordinary paths and structured my dreams. I’ve not heard this one before so thank you.
