This song helped me overcome bad time when i was hurt more than year ago. I felt so small and broken but when i played this song, strange power came from the music to my soul and then i gained my own strenght back slowly. I listened to it many many times week by week till i was sure that my inner she-king returned. :)) Thank you, Brendan and Lisa!
Such a beautiful tribute you wrote to our friends for the creation of this song. Enamored with idea that this music restored your soul and brought balance to the sacred feminine within you. 🙏❣️🌹

I'm currently 6,5 months pregnant and my baby is listening to Dead Can Dance with me. It makes me even more emotional to listen to them now than it was before, and they always made me extra emotional... thank you Brendan & Lisa, wish you would reunite at some point again... love u
I remember the first time I heard this anthem. I was absolutely mesmerized by how the sun was setting and this was being played in the background. It ravished my mind, both Lisa and Brendan's voices touched the depths of my soul, the music calling, awakening some sort of slumbering inner self. As the song was developing, so was this sense of unlimited power coarsing through each and every fiber of my being. It was truly, quite an experience. Since then, I fell in love with them, exploring each and every release put out by Lisa and Brendan. I haven't been able to experience them in a live setting, but the very thought of it happening makes my heart full of bliss.
Such a triumphant feeling! And very appropriate with the current times were women are reclaiming their rightful place and power as a whole. So happy! Thank you for this masterpiece! Chills all over! 🙏
I went on a ferry thing in New Zealand once. From an area called the Caitlins, where I hiked and slept in the forest, towards a small island named Stewart's Island. I remember putting on this tune as the waves almost hurled us through these breathless arctic clouds. It was an insane moment, so insane that I just had to celebrate this feeling somehow. So I sat, in the hotel, watched the first episodes of adventure time with the hotelmanager. Then I put on my boots, walked through little forests with birdsongs that sounded like minstrels on one of them lutes. And I decided to hug a tree....
People lose their minds in the Rakiura bush, there's a couple every year. It's dense, you get turned around, there are no landmarks, it's surprisingly warm, so lost hikers panic and stark taking their jackets off, then shirts. Then later the sea chill comes in and it's dangerously cold. People have been found only 100m from a trail, with hypothermia, wearing next to nothing, and out of their minds.
@@mxvega1097 God, nature man. I also heard that hikers get lost in that Abel Tasman park. Went there is well. Judging from your comment, i suppose I had an angel watching me or was granted survival by sheer chance. I did learn quickly that most beautiful things are best viewed from afar. I wrote that somewhere in my journal when i visited punakaiki. For a solid hour, I contemplated that just being there, would triumph life.
Sounds like The Return of Goddess Mother Earth. Love how DCD makes you feel. If you have not seen them live, I highly suggest it. Been 26 yrs since I did and talk about a spiritual ecperience!
I wish I could tell them how much their music has helped me throughout the most difficult times of my life. Their music has given me a new level of peace I thought I would never reach.
Inspired by the real-life story of Grace O’Malley, the 16th century Irish queen and pirate who challenged Queen Elizabeth I’s claim of sovereignty over Ireland. Absolutely majestic!
For some reason, this very song brought me to tears. I felt a connection to the mother of Enki, and felt the strongest love and sorrow at the same time. This song is a work of divine beauty. Thank you!
I found myself in a very depressed suicidal state back in 2017 First time hearing this I cried, I made sure to play it during my first complete breakthrough on dmt, the thrust of her soul behind her vocals, the walls breathing along with her tempo overwhelming gratitude of being alive sobbing while hands and knees worshiping pure open source full of so much love I couldn't stop crying, divine ❤
I love their oriental / middle eastern stuff a lot, but I like their more medieval / celtic songs even more. And I like that with every album they cover a new musical and cultural territory. Here, it is greek music, in Spiritchaser, it was african, indian and even north american tribal music...And in "Into The labyrinth", they experimented with oriental and arabic music. Dionysus is now more slavic and european... And now they have released Mushin, a new song. It is linked to Japan. I would really like a new album with japanese influences.
Es perfecta, el entorno acompaña el sentimiento de la melodía esto me produce una immensa tristeza pero al mismo tiempo me gusta porque es parte de mi estado de ánimo. Es especial, diferente y única. Escucharla es perderte en el abismo.
He is risen so we have words about the power of love that keeps; that doesn’t depend on another person- that the force of it is unreal and alive eternally
All hail Conan and his mighty sword Excalibur with his trusted advisor Gandalf. J.K. I see why Sully Erna calls this woman his favorite singer. If someone ever has the guts to make a really good movie about a medieval woman in power then this is her theme. Magnificent!!!
Meaning it touches so deep it makes you cry? Been there, done that. So touched by its grace, I feel I become one with it, elevates me from my mere mortal existence.

I might get some disagreement, but I always thought a montage of Anglo-American forces making their final preps before launching the D-Day invasion and then the invasion itself would go really well to this for some reason. Someone once commented on an upload of this that it made them think of a Roman emperor's funeral for some reason. I could see/hear that.
