I love when you walk through San Fransokyo. Not just cause it's my favorite area to hang out in DCA but occasionally I get to see myself in the video XD
I am one of those people who doesn't want to order ahead. I understand for some people it helps and they prefer it, but I like being present in the park as much as I can be. I like being spontaneous while I'm in the park as well. I feel that the push to rely on my phone takes away from fully immersing myself in the magic of Disneyland. Especially now that I don't live n SoCal anymore and I have young kids. I want to be as present with them in the park as I can be, to soak up as many memories as I can. Maybe I would feel differently if I lived there still and went frequently. Maybe I'll rely on the app the next time our family goes, who knows? But I sympathize with people who have this same preference. Funny side note, when DCA first opened, I went there with friends for my 21st birthday. I was broke and there were very few things to do there compared to now. It was nighttime, I was hungry and thankfully the bread tour gave me some snacks until we left the park. Oh to be young and broke.
FreshBaked. David, a nice mellow day before it all goes crazy with Ooogie Boogie crowds. Redwood Creek is D.C.A.'s answer to "Tom Sawyer Island." Cheers, Chris Perry.
As a safety trained personnel, sorta... I'll put things (about the Avengers Assemble stunt show) this way: It's probably less about money and more about performer safety. Climbing up and down a structure, has associated risks even with the best safety gear and the best safety personnel in place. Now that's true with any stunt, but going up and down like that puts one at a much greater safety risk than just coming out onto a stage. However, I will say this: The climbing stunts are a minimum risk to personnel these days. Disney probably had something go wrong, performer getting stuck that kind of thing, and didn't want to risk the show stoppers like that again. It might not have happened on stage like that, but in practice and then got implemented like it is now because of what happened backstage. Disney always takes the safety of their performers (and the safety personnel behind the scenes helping the performers) into the equation right off the bat these days, so it doesn't shock me to learn that they did this. Is it less impressive? Yes, Is it safer, yes... which would you pick for employees ... ehehm, "Cast Members"? (assuming here) Yea, exactly. Safety first. So, yea that happened and now we have a less impressive show, but kids that don't go often won't notice as long as the rest of the show is cool enough right?
This was what I was just going to say. I would also add that CalOSHA may have a requirement for safety harnesses for the performers being a certain height off the ground.
Besides safety being an issue and possible problems with equipment, there may not be that many people who are proficient in parkour that they can hire for those type of stunts.
I was over at Disneyland on this day. And boy did it feel intense. I suppose a lot of single day ticket holders ( like my kids) didn't have park hoppers so didn't want to go to DCA until just 6:00. I guess Sundays in Disneyland park during the Halloween season just isn't a bargain like the rest of the year. At least that day wasn't.
FYI Disneyland is sending reminders out to ticket holders( not magic keys) that made reservations for DCA on party nights. Maybe that’s why it’s quiet in the am.
5:02 that is a call to action! Some Lightening Lane, but that is the shortest line I've seen since watching Fresh Baked! 6:33 yep...that was a call for sure
The 95 on Midway Mania could be that there only operating one side of the two in the loading area. I went to this attraction early in the day when it was posted at 15 and I walked into the indoor extended queue and due to Lighting Lane and one side down, they jumped the wait to 75, good thing I got in a bit before the lighting lanes showed up and waited just 45 minutes, but that line was BRUTAL!!!
I rerode Midway Mania later that day during world of color and walked into the building(3 switchbacks out of 4 full) and since there was no LL, I waited just 10 minutes.
I would be very interested in seeing a video on how to work around spending the day on your phone in the parks. Last time I visited - a couple years ago now, during 2022 when there was a rush for US and international audiences to start tourism again - and I spent all day on my phone, Genie+, mobile ordering, wait time checking, attraction photos, mobile purchasing in stores. At the time it felt like the only way to do anything as queues for literally everything were insane.
I was in DCA yesterday, and I used your queue science to estimate that a 45 minute queue would be much shorter, ended up being 20 minutes. That’s for your intelligence. At rope drop, even with early entry going in, I waked on GotG, Racers, and Incredicoaster.
YOU ARE THE STAR AT DISNEYLAND AND EARNED IT..................................KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND THANKS FOR ALL YOUR GREAT UPDATES......................................GOD BLESS
Sounds like Viva Navidad is caught up in the contractor law written to control Uber/Doordash/et al and they got out of. Someone must have said something as the law has been in effect screwing up all other freelance/contractor positions for years now.
I saw you in the park this day :) I'm actually in the background for some of the footage at Guardians and Incredicoaster :P What kind of camera are you using to film? Is it a go pro?
Actually it's that spinning that adds to the fun. If you want a non spinning experience, that's where log flumes come in. (aka Splash Mountain/Tiana's)
David do you think that in one of your videos you can explain low capacity vs high capacity rides and how do you navigate your day at the parks with the knowledge of the rides and which one you should do first and last or end of the day?
I think he assumes people will be smart enough to understand how titles work and that RUclips videos are typically not filmed and released on the same day. He lists the video release date on the RUclips title and lists the date it was recorded during the actual video, at 00:34 seconds in this video specifically.
Because people with families have to work. So that leaves annual pass holders who go so frequently they know the pattern. Now why are there so many pass holders available on a work day? The last group are Europeans who are taking advantage of the exchange rate...long ago it used to be Japan. But with it all, the stock still has declined 20 percent over 6 months and with these Demographic it will not pull up.
I am guessing that the thing with Coco is really a money issue. I’m a Freelance Musician. Employers can pay me substantially less per hour if I’m only working a few hours than if I was working full-time. If full-time, they have to pay me benefits, Etc. That’s a lot more money than what they pay me on my 1099. There also comes the problem that if they are a full-time employee and they’re doing seasonal work, they can apply for unemployment during the off-season. One more expense. Don’t know the real truth, but getting my experience this makes sense. Don’t think it’s necessarily right for the employees.
PaintTheNight return announcement has to just be days away now. Parade float storage under careful management. 70th celebration announcements will drive 2026 ticket sales. Queue the countdown!
Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your Disneyland videos!
I'm 100% in agreement. Been 2 years since last visit, DAvid makes the time less painful.
I love when Dave can enjoy and ride some rides while walking the park ❤
FRESHBAKED is DISNEYLAND!
Love that intro music! Always a joy!
It was so exciting to see you while we were at DCA on sunday. We were the family that waved at you, waiting for midway mania at around 44 minutes.
Oh man, I need to get my butt on a ride. Thanks Fresh Baked!
Always love watching your videos ❤
Disneyland was the first park i ever visited and now I can’t get enough love the parks
I was there at that time.. I missed you dang it 😔 Well thanks for the update. FRESH BAKED!!

Great show today, Fresh Baked. It's so nice to have your videos when we can't make it to the park. Keep it up! Fresh Baked!
This was another great video! Thanks for doing what you do 😃😍
I also purchased the infinity gauntlet drink holder 🤣
Your awesome dude be safe out there

I just checked back for your infamous ride on incredicoaster in the oppressive heat wave. Can’t believe that was already two weeks ago!
I noticed the Stunts during the Main show at Knott’s Scary Farm were very scaled back as well.

David how often are the queue times updated?
@FreshBaked! David just so you know at 11:56 that’s Captain Marvel, but that’s not Brie Larson! 😂 I know you have trouble recognising her 😂

Osmo Pocket 3

Hi fresh bake
I really wish I could know what day of the week these reports are on.
I say what day it is at the beginning of every episode
@@FreshBakedDisneywell how about that. For my multitasking listening…. I will rewind now ! Thank you!😂
Insurance in California is bad, maybe they limited the stunts due to insurance costs? It’s a huge liability
Quick question...is the Animation Academy open? It closed a few weeks back, and I was wondering if it's open or not. TIA
I will never understand why people do not mobile order from Flo’s.
Very sad about the Viva Navidad news. I get that they need to cut how often they do it but could they throw in a Wednesday instead of all weekends.
Black Widow stunt, maybe insurance?
Does Avengers Campus still have the Spiderman show?
Yes
You mean 2024?
I wonder if the stunt is just too dangerous??? Not worth the risk?
It sounds more like a union demand. Pay them as stuntmen rather than actors?
Mobile order was not a thing in the 60s and 70
Neither was dca
Disney sucks no geysers
Would you prefer if it did suck geysers?
31:40 its just the boomers lmao
No, there's a surprising amount of gen x and millennials that seem to refuse to use the app for anything
