I've had a total of three 5t's, two Baja 5sc's and rovan lt. Gotta say the lt and 5t are one in the same. Everything, well most everything is compatible/ share components. The only difference is the price 😂 still would grab another losi over the rovan simply because of customer service.
How fast can you afford to go ? You can buy the top of the line kits and premium components with sprinkles of beyond sauce quite affordably in 1/10 scale but as size increases so does a financial commitment. You can buy sport kits or from one of those companies that just copy the leaders (56 world championships) or even a prebuilt Chinese import. You can get a buggy or a truck, a crawler or street car, two wheel or 4x4, gas or electric. You can build a tiny table saw from a blow dryer and make a car out of pvc sheets. That 1/5 scale is way way t’have but it’s heavy too and that’s problematic. The little car he puts next to it will run circles around it and jump not 20 feet but 100 feet. The problem is not the cost of one but the cost of many that you end up buying plus tires and fuel, bodies and probably a helicopter.
