Picked up your transmission insert for my B9.5 S4, and it's the best thing you can buy for under $100. I knew there were cheaper options, but I prefer to support a company I believe in!
I saw the other cheaper ones on Amazon and that, but I know 034 did the R&D and the ground work to design and engineer this. So I would rather spend more and reward the people pushing innovation and improving our cars...Awesome work 034! I chose yours off WCT Performance site.
You rock, thank you for the support! We have made revisions to this part over the years so these parts are not all equal, we continue to improve and optimize and at this point the knock off companies are knocking off each other’s designs. With support from customers like you we will continue to innovate and push Audi performance forward 👍🏼
@@034motorsport no thank you for putting in the hardwork and putting out products that benefit us enthusiasts. I just watched your video on the street mounts and they look awesome so that's next for me. Keep up the awesome products guys.
I think there is one MAJOR issue to be concerned regrading this upgrade. The OEM mount insert is designed to allow movement and provide a level of damping. Reduction or removal of damping is a personal choice but I think it is sensible to base that choice on acceptance that there may be a risk involved, which could cause a lot of tension on the transmission itself. I addition the transmission has its own vibration and tolerance of movement that could protect the transmission itself too. What about these concerns?
These are not concerns as this is not a new modification, we released this part about 10 years ago and the modification is proven to be effective and safe. We do not remove all compliance from the mount, just enough to optimize driving enjoyment and performance. 👍🏼
@@034motorsport I see, so this upgrade will not add additional wear of the transmission (even small)? My point is apart of the positive outcome for driving experience and performance what are if any the negative consequences?
Mihail, you have brought up a very good point. If its such a great upgrade why hasn’t Audi made it OEM for such a small price? In a court of law you will have to have technical experts show that the insert has caused damage… And I wonder what Audi itself would testify to? And the price is now $95 US
It is recommended, though we have been able to reuse the TTY bolts without an issue in our service department. We offer the replacement bolts here: store.034motorsport.com/034motorsport-billet-transmission-mount-insert-hardware-kit-audi-b8-b9-a4-a5-allroad-q5-rs5-s4-s5-sq5.html If you wish to source them from the dealer, you can using part number: N10724701
No, there is no additional wear and tear, there is still a rubber transmission mount installed it’s simply been formed up by our insert. The only possible trade off here is more NVH, which out insert does add a very slight amount which virtually all customers we’ve ever had find more than acceptable given the improvement in feel and performance
That’s not correct, the B8 insert originally was released around 2014 for $75 plus shipping, since then we have raised the price to its current level of $98 and we offer free shipping over $100 so many times this is ordered with other parts and there’s no shipping fee. But worst case 30% over 10 years.
I just got a B8.5 A5 and can't wait to get your parts on it. Thanks for the innovation, research and support!
Have fun!

Always supports the original. I personally never buy copies no matter how cheap they are or how great they are.
Thats a silly financial decision

Hi, Is it recommended to replace the mounting bolts when fitting this upgrade?, or just use the originals?.

Does your transmission insert transfer wear and tear over prolonged use to a different area of the transmission?

I was just going off of what they said in the video.
I’m in the market for getting an insert
That was a random pff the cuff number from a foggy memory, the real numbers are listed above, apologies for any confusion.
