      Thank you for watching my videos. If your 3D model isn't appearing when imported into Element 3D, go to the scene window within Element 3D, select your model, and in the Edit window under Transform, ensure the 'Normalize Size' box is checked. Let me know if this resolves the issue. 🙏🏽

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  9 месяцев назад

      Sorry for the late response. What type of textures do you have? Is it Diffuse, Ambient Occlusion, Metallic, or Glossiness? If you have any of those, Inside Element 3D select the material layer in your 3D model and assign each layer to its corresponding port. Let me know if that helps 🙏🏽

    Hello, thank you fot the video, how would you know which texture goes to which object?
    The 3D model I received seems have too many objects and textures to choose from.

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  2 месяца назад +1

      Thank you for watching my tutorials. Normally the organization of textures is done in the 3D software the 3D model was created. I use Cinema 4D, so I will create my texture maps in Cinema 4D then ill export that information and import the 3D textured model into Element 3D. The textures that your 3D model has are not linking properly?

      I think I understand. I created a video showing how to import the file textures (For example, the diffuse, AO, Normal..etc) into Element 3D. It starts at the 50 second mark. Let me know if this helps. ruclips.net/video/rjeo1gTXkEk/видео.htmlsi=JWJnn6xDdf30SVdX

      @@tutosdigitals Thank you for the reply.
      So I would have to know which texture goes to which obeject in order to map the textures to each objects properly, and no way to know it unless I have made the modeling data myself?
      I mean there's no information about which texture file goes to where, like in MTL file, as long as I use Element?

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  2 месяца назад +1

      If its a Blender 3D model. Have you tried downloading a free copy of Blender and upload the 3D model to the Blender software? The textures should connect to the model and you can see which texture files are attached to each model. I don’t know much about Blender. But, When I had that problem I opened the C4d file in Cinema 4D and I was able to see which texture files were assigned to the models.

    when importing my blender 3d asset to after effect, but when i do export in obj/glb/gltf file i have a white wall at the back and down of my asset, on top on that my asset is full white, with no textures and colors on, and yes i use the last version of AE

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  2 месяца назад

      Hello, thank you for your comment. In your Blender file, do you have a Hidden 3D object in the background? That could be the reason you see the white wall at the back and down. Are the textures visible in Blender but not in Element 3D? Or are you just importing the files directly to After Effects and not using Element 3D?

    Those ball things are black and my 3D object are also black …how can I fix that please?

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  10 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your comment. This issue often occurs on computers with an Intel UHD Graphics card. To address it, select the material of your 3D model. Under the texture section, choose the 'none set' box for Environment. A window will appear; click on the grey box that says 'Load Texture.' Navigate to the Material Folder inside your Video Copilot folder, usually located in your Documents folder. Within the Video Copilot folder, enter the Environment folder, and then access the Basic_2K folder. Choose an Environment image. Let me know if this resolves your issue. Note that you may need to repeat this process for every new material applied to your 3D model.

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  8 месяцев назад

      Hello, sorry at the moment Element 3D only accepts .obj files or .c4d (Cinema 4D) files. You will have to convert your .gbl file to .obj or import it into Cinema4D, save it and import that Cinema 4D file into Element 3d. I hope this helps, thank you for your support 🙏🏽

      Ah, I see. Yes, that's what happens when the layer containing the Element 3D effect is set as a 3D layer. Can you uncheck the 3D layer icon for that layer? Once you uncheck the 3D layer function, rotate your camera again. Your camera should now rotate around your 3D model and the layer should just stay in place. Let me know if that fixes the problem.🙏🏽

    Hello, I have a slideshow with photos and want to put 3d apple near them. Problem is the apple is not 3d in composition. Do i need render, track video and then put apple or can I do it before render (which I do preffer). I have 3d apple .obj in element 3d but I dont know how to paste it into my composition

    • @tutosdigitals
      @tutosdigitals  8 месяцев назад

      Hello, thank you for your comment. 🙏🏽🙏🏽 If I understand correctly, you want to add a 3D object on top of a photo slideshow. Does the photo slideshow include 3D camera movement, or is it a stationary camera with no movements? Will the 3D Apple move or follow the camera movements of the photo slideshow? From my understanding, I would:
      #1Pre-Compose: Combine all photo slideshow assets into one composition.
      #2 New Composition: Create a new composition and place the pre-composed photo slideshow in it.
      #3 Add 3D Element: Create a new layer within the new composition, add the Element 3D effect with the 3D apple, and ensure the Element 3D layer is on top of the pre-composed photo slide.
