I agree with you totally! I went to the concert last summer. The lineup in order was Collective Soul, Live, and The Counting Crows to close the show. It was an amazing show. All 3 bands are great, but Collective Soul in my opinion should have headlined. They have the most hits and are still putting out hits. They rocked at the show and sounded phenominal. Collective Soul- Best band from the 90's...my opinion.
I know your comment is a year old, but Collective Soul is a much better band than nirvana or soundgarden. Collective Soul is COMPLETELY under-rated, and have outlasted most bands of their time. Their music has more melody and feeling than both nirvana and soundgarden combined.
All the bands you listed are all great. I see you like the bands that hail from Seattle. I'm a fan of a lot of the bands from the 90's...Toad The Wet Sprocket, Better Than Ezra, Alice In Chains, Foo Fighters, Sponge, and a whole lot more. I like Collective Soul the most, even though you mentioned some awesome bands.
By far best band of 90's if not ever! One of the biggest under rated bands, they dont get the credit they deserve. Collective Soul rocks!
